Thank goodness for Angie's List. After looking thru the various companies and their reviews for the category I wanted, it was clear that Exit Pest Control was the company I wanted to call. I was surprised and impressed that my call didn't go to an answering machine or a voice message.....my call was answered by Mike himself. He said he would arrive within the hour. True to his word, Mike and his son arrived within the hour. They were thorough and checked various openings that would allow an animal access to inside the house. Mike and his son are really nice guys.....honest, personable and did a great job for me. Mike also suggested an option to prevent the squirrels from having such easy access to the roof. Their work also came with a 1-year warranty if I have further problems. Without a doubt, I will call Mike again if I need his services. I will also recommend him to my friends.

Recently moved into the area and wanted to have a review of the house done as well as schedule an annual spray/extermination schedule for the year. Additionally, we had a small mice problem in my basement that needed to be addressed. Made an appointment 2 days in advance. Mike showed up promptly and talked with me about options they offer for the annual servicing, etc. and immediately checked the basement and garage to assess the mice issue. He showed me the access points and described potential resolutions to the problem. We agreed on the price and he proceeded to do a check of the rest of the house for the future bug servicing and to see if there were any additional mice entry points. After a thorough review which included a full inspection of the attic and the vents he came back and gave me a full assessment which was actually much LESS than we anticipated..We were expecting a service contract that called for 2-3 visits a year, as a few other less credible exterminators had "suggested". He noted the vents were well screened and there was no need for excess service especially since we have a young child and the less pesticide the better. He also did a routine check for termites, carpenter ants and stink bugs and noted that there was no termite damage or ant infestation. He added he would seal our chimney with a screen to avoid any potential stink bug invasion but would only do so in the spring when we do our initial annual cleaning. He took care of the mice problem and we scheduled a single service appointment in the early spring to combat any potential bug problem early. All in all we were very happy with the service. Mike was very nice and honest and did a thorough job including explaining everything he was doing in order to combat the mice problem. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a trustworthy, pleasant service provider.

Initially we thought we had a plumbing problem. Plumber fixed the problem. The problem was that mice gnawed the water (plastic) pipe. We called Michael for an estimate, on New Years eve day. He showed up right on time, immediately located areas where the critters were getting in, recommend closing off those areas and treating the house. Gave me an a very fair estimate and was prepared to preform the necessary service. He is very knowledgable, confident, and aware of our concern for our pets safety. We accepted his estimate and he preformed the necessary service, same day. New Year eve. We are very happy is its all over and done with. 2 year written guarantee was icing on the cake. We will definitely recommend to friends, and call again for other pest control issues.

Excellent! No termites found and did not try to upsell us on anything! Will go here if we ever do need extermination!

We are extremely pleased with the service and responsiveness of this firm. Mike was able to come to our house within two hours of being called, checked for the trapped animal (it was a squirrel), and confirmed that it was able to escape our chimney. He charged us a reasonable service fee for his time and professional expertise. What a relief!!

They came when they said they would, treated the side of my house, and I didn't have any problems with carpenter bees after that. I would strongly recommend them and will use them in the future if necessary.

My experience was excellent. My first contact was just after Sandy and he could not come that day because they didn't have any gas for their truck. Because he couldn't come, he gave me excellent advice over the phone as to what to do to get rid of the rat and to avoid trapping it inside the house. We did get it out and fixed the problem inside the house, but continued to see evidence that they were building a nest next to our house, so had them come out to get it off our property. He was punctual, polite and very knowledgeable. I could not have asked for a better experience despite the trying circumstances post-Sandy, and best of all, we ahve not seen any evidence of the rat in weeks.

I was very happy by the services performed by Exit Pest. The owner gave me an estimate over the phone and kept to the price he quoted. We was prompt and came at the time promised. I was having bee's in my kitchen and had seen them swarming under the aluminum siding of my home. After inspection of the attic of the garage, mike was able to determine that the nest was under the overhang of my home. mike did a great job removing the nest and returning the siding of the house and sealing it off. I would definitely use him again.

.I called after discovering a bug infestation on the outside of our house.- with some coming inside as well. Mike came to look at it and advised that it is a seasonal thing and that i could probably wait it out and there was no need to treat it . His honesty impressed me as I was prepared to hear that I would have to spend a small fortune to take care of it. I called him back after a few weeks of the bugs still appearing inside the house. He sprayed both inside and out - i think the price was fair and the service was professional. Only complaint was that he didn't show up at the scheduled time because he got tied up on another job- would have appreciated a call. But we rescheduled and it was fine.

I had carpetner ants problem in my house. When I called on Tuesday and was able to schedule appointment the same week at convinient time. Two guys came sprayed around the house and gave me 1 year warranty. No ants since then.

Mike and crew came to give me an estimate right after I moved in, told me my home was well maintained, and that I would only need preventative spraying to keep the bugs at bay. He even told me that I didn't need to call him to do the work until I was finished renovating the house and all the contractors had left. I felt like he was very honest and wasn't looking for a payday. In contrast, I had called Terminix before calling Exit Pest Control and was quoted a price that was more than double what Mike charged. Terminix kept harassing me with phone calls over the next week, saying that they could send someone out ASAP. Annoyed by their pushiness, I promptly looked on Angie's List and found all the great reviews for Exit Pest Control. Mike is such a nice guy, and he and his crew did a very thorough job spraying and cleaning out the cobwebs from every nook and cranny around my house. He's very easy to get in touch with, and was willing to work around my schedule. The price that I paid includes another spraying in the springtime. This is such a good deal, and I hope everyone gives Mike a call for their pest concerns.

We called Mike and told him we had a squirrel in the attic that needed to go. He quoted us $225 with a guarantee that the squirrel would be removed. He and an assistant came that day, climbed into the attic and it turned out we had a raccoon. It was in a place where they couldn't get to it, so they build an "escape hatch" - something that would allow it to exit via the vent it had come in through, but once out it wouldn't be able to get in again. It worked. It left that evening and Mike came back the next day to be sure it was gone. Then he went above and beyond. He fixed the slats in the vent that the raccoon had moved, put up screening and chicken wire so animals couldn't get back in and cleaned all the critter footprints from our siding and drainpipe. And even though it turned out not to be a squirrel, he stuck by his quote of $225. We were very impressed. He'll be the first one we call should we need this type of service again.

The owners name is Mike. They are wonderful. We have had repeated problems with squirrels for over 10 years. You can hear them running back and forth. He guarantees his work. He does not kill them he traps them they can get in but not back out. Then he will repair the holes that they make. He comes when we call. He is never nasty with the work he has to do. He is careful about the bushes since we take pride in them. He takes care of his business. We have used him several times.

I decided to use Exit after reading the reviews on Angie's List and couldn't be happier with their service. They not only treated and solved the problem but explained what they were doing, what caused the infestation and how to prevent it in the future. It's a father and son team; the father has been in the business 30 years and both are very personable....they obviously know their stuff! They are honest and don't try to push for more services that are unnecessary or sign any long-them contracts, and pricing is very reasonable ; the bill was exactly what they quoted me. I would highly recommend Exit Pest Control to family, friends, and anyone looking to solve a pest problem and who doesn't want to get ripped off.

They're extremely easy to contact and to make appointments with. They are courteous, extremely professional and know exactly what to do. If they don't find a problem and they tell you that you don't need anything done, they won't even charge you for the visit. They are fabulous.

Would I use these guys again? You can be sure of that!

Mike did a great job on two of my properties. Would definitely use him again next year if we have a repeat infestation.

I liked that he was willing to do what ever it tool to find the problem. He came back second time when I called him no questions asked. A few months I don't know if it was six months later when the problem started again. He was just willing to come right back and do the job again. I will use him again.

Everything went very well. Our problem was diagnosed and treated promptly and efficiently. We were very pleased with the response to our initial phone call and we were even more pleased with Mike's knowledge and expertise. Our pest problem (carpenter bees) is solved and if we have any other pest problems we know who to call!

He is extremely professional and great to work with.

The guy that comes out is one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. He is very thorough and takes his time to make sure the job is done right. If there is ever a problem, he will come right out at no extra charge. He is very punctual and professional. We have not had any issues with bees or carpenter ants since we started with him.

I found them on Angie's List. I chose them because of the way they were rated on Angie's List and they are local. They were great. Its the first time I have ever used and exterminator and from everything I saw they seem to be just normal. I think their price is average. They were good. I would give them an A.

Sunday, my wife noticed carpenter ants going about their business of walking up & down the side of our house. I checked Angie's List and saw that Exit was highly recommended, and was nearby. I didn't bother to look any further. I called Monday morning and spoke with Mike who said that since it was going to be raining most of the day Monday & Tuesday, that he would prefer to come Wednesday morning. He actually came a few minutes early. He spent a good deal of time walking around the house and explaining the problem and what he would do about it. He gave us a price ($195) and said he could do the job right away. Mike went up and down a ladder a LOT of times as he treated every inch of the first-floor fascia, gutters and windows. He then treated the foundation concrete and a one-foot perimeter of the soil around the house (keeping a good distance away from our vegetable garden). He said that the work is guaranteed for one year, but in reality the treatment is probably good for three years, and if we see any more ants, just call and he'll come. What else can I say? I'm overjoyed that I can cross this episode off my endless list of things to do around here.

We thought we might have a problem with animals in our attic. Mike responded to our phone message within minutes, made an appointment for the next day, arrived promptly (actually 10 mins early !), spent at least 30 mins on a complete inspection, and told us that everything looked "very old" and that we did not have a current problem. Nothing to be done. Best of all, when I offered payment he said he never charged for inspections ! Can't beat the price or the service ! Very nice and professional.
