Exit Pest Control

I used Exit Pest Control last March for my squirrel problem and was happy with their work and responsiveness. I contacted them this past May 1 to use them again since I heard sounds in the attic. Since it was late, I just went ahead and messaged them on Angie's List. Last time, I got a call the next morning. This time, I did not. I went ahead and called them and left a message. I still didn't hear back nor responded via AL. I called them again a few days later and got Michael. To my surprise, he sounded annoyed and very short with me. I forged ahead and made an appointment since was so pleased with them before and took an appointment that was almost 2 weeks ahead since I wanted morning hours. I did leave another message to see if I could make things easier by having a later appointment if that worked better. I never received a call back nor at any time during this attempt to make an appointment. After thinking things through, I decided that as a previous customer (or just as a customer), I didn't deserve being treated this way. I called and canceled my appointment. I am disappointed since I was so pleased before and I do prefer giving my business to local small business.

Mike was on time for the estimate and the day of the treatment. He explained what they will do and why. Both he and his son answered all my questions. I was satisfied with the service and will use them again and recommend them.

I'm a first time home owner and inherited a deck that's heavily infested with carpenter bees. Damages on the wood has been years in the making and there were holes and gaps all over the deck. Mike was punctual, courteous and thorough. He quoted me a price that's one third of the quote from another exterminator and honored the coupon from Angie's list. He did his job efficiently and gave me many valuable tips. It was a really pleasant experience! I will definitely use him again if needs ever arise.

I am in a process of buying a home in Bergen County. I called Mike for Termite Inspection. He did the inspection for free, and did charge any money for this service. I spend over 30 minutes in the crawl space with a torch and knife and looked at every corner to make sure that the home is termite free. He also educated me on what type of treatments were probably used earlier at the house by looking at the holes on the stairs. I plan to call him to provide the treatment / prevention service once I own the house.

I called today and he was able to come out today. He plugged up any holes where he thought the mice might be coming from, put down traps, and best of all, provided a year warranty on his service, in case the mice come back.

Had a squirrel in the chimney. He opened the flue and was eye to with the squirrel who was full of energy. Informed us that if he attempted to remove the squirrel at that point, the squirrel could easiler run out leaving soot all over the house. He said to call later in the week and he would come remove the squirrel when the squirrel was weaker. No charge!

Very professional. Removed the birds without issue.

Mice in attic which cannot be accessed. Mike examined roof & determined it was a mice infestation. Made certain by putting down bait through roof vents. Treated situation accordingly. So far "noises" are gone. Certainly seemed to know what he was talking about and would use him again as well as recommend. Altogether made three visits. I thought price was reasonable.

Wasn't a good match. His pricing didn't make much sense to us. The next service we looked at came here the next day with a reasonable estimate, had a reasonable approach and explanation, and actually obtained one of the animals right away. They were happy to do it. They really showed us that Exit Pest was limited in attempting our business.

While we were doing other work on the house, I called Exit Pest Control to check for termites while the sub floor and crawl space beams were exposed. Two men (father and son) showed up in less than an hour, did a thorough inspection, including going into the crawl space, and declared that the signs of termites were many years old and there was no current or recent termite activity. They easily could have said the old markings were recent and tried to sell me a treatment, but believe it or not, they were extremely honest. What a rarity these days! When I asked (twice) what I owed them, they said there was no charge and that's the way they run their business.

They were prompt and had fair pricing. They came back a second time, which was part of the service contract. They did a good job.

They were very good. They showed up and fixed everything right away. They also were very knowledgeable in their field. I would definitely recommend them to others.

The gentlemen who finally arrived was very nice and took a quick look at what I had seen (some kind of mound of eggs or something), but said there was no termite problem. I thought it might be termites, so that was a relief. He arrived about an hour late so I was going to reschedule if he needed to inspect the crawlspace, etc., but that turned out to be unnecessary. I was relieved that I didn't have a serious problem and there was no charge for his two minute visit.

He was great. He worked with me. He came pretty much upon the date that I was able to be here and it was right after 2-3 days after I called. He came and did everything. I had to call him back for one room and they came back in the day after I called them and redid that room. I’ve had no problems since. He did not charge me anything to come back since it was guaranteed. Their prices were reasonable.

I was very happy with the price the work, and the pest control problem did stop right after the treatment. The customer service was fantastic.

The owner and his son arrived promptly on time and went right down to business. I showed them where I thought the problem was, and they worked efficiently. I already caught 4 crickets thanks to them! They were friendly and their service was excellent. I didn't want them to spray in the house and they offered to come back free of charge if the problem persisted and I changed my mind.

I was able to get an appointment at a time that accommodated my work schedule. They were calm, not overbearing, professional, quick and thorough. The initial assessment was free of charge. In my case, there is no more work right now, but I would definitely consider using them again.

Exit Pest Control was outstanding and our experience could not have been better. They showed up when they said they would, gave the house a thorough inspection, did a great job with the extermination, were super clean and neat, very respectful, pleasant and honest. Went above and beyond what they needed to do at didn't charge me anything addition. They even forgot to do one tiny minor housekeeping thing and they came back within a few minutes after they left to fix it without me even calling them. Great family owned business who I would recommend to anyone. Really, my experience could not have been better.

I got them from Angie’s List. I have no problems with them. I thought they were good. They walked in when they said they would. They have a 6 months warranty and they will come back if I see more wasps. It’s been 2 or 3 weeks and it’s been fine with no call back. I thought the price was reasonable.

Punctual response to call, sprayed house on the day and time as promised, and finished a few days later with details. Requested payment after all was done appropriately.

He came promptly and based on the acorns I showed him he deduced that I had field mice in my attic. We have not heard any "activity" since so it appears that he solved the problem

Arrived on time, treated property around the whole perimeter of house, and left property the way it was when they arrived.

Excellent service. Very professional in every aspect. My husband and I were very happy with Michaels knowledge and most of all with his honesty. Great job!
