He examined it and thought there was not an ani,al living there now. He left a sticky paper in the hole to see if there was an animal there. There wasn't any fur on the paper when he returned so he patched the hole. (We could not have patched anything that high up ourselves.) We were satisfied because he could have made it more expensive since we are ignorant and gullible about squirrel holes.

Mike, the company's owner, was available to speak by phone, he was knowledgable about our problem, and he was able to come out to service our home quickly and efficiently. He explained our pests' habits, and told us what to watch for. Overall a very professionally handled job, with a year guarantee.

I always spoke to them over the phone. They were always extremely appropriate and professional. The price he charged me was the price he gave me over the phone. He came when he said he was going to come, did the job and my problem is gone. He was good. I spent about $200 on that work.

He made 2 trips here and was, by far, one of the BEST tradespeople I've ever worked with. He's knowledgable, friendly and helpful. He also knows his business. After he did more investigation, he put out some traps. And I have no doubt we'll get rid of the mouse problem for good. He also checked around the house and put a screen on the dryer vent - which is exactly how these guys probably got in in the first place. I would recommend Mike in a second.

Overall, we faced a homeowner's nightmare and were glad EXIT was there to guide us through it. At times I thought we would never get rid of the creatures and they kept me awake many nights. Then the awful aftermath of decaying carcass and thousands of flies! Mike helped us seal the entrance the racoons diligently created. They had actually pried up roof tiles and flashing in their determination to get into our house. (I guess they met some of the squirrels who've invaded us over the years and we came highly recommended.) If any of them return next spring, EXIT will be our exterminator of choice.

Arrived on time. Surveyed the house. Gave me an estimate. I called after I decided on using this company and Mr. Wacht came promptly. Treated the house for mice. Then what I thought was mice ended up being squirrels so he also got rid of them. It took a while to get rid of those cagey squirrels.

The owner when called was polite and set up an appointment for later in the day based on my schedule. He was punctual. He carefully looked over certain areas of the house, and said it was just the house settling, and not termites or carpenter ants which was a relief. He did not charge for coming and evaluating, which was very gracious.

I got them from Angie’s List. Mike came out and fixed the ant problem. I paid $120 for the job. The work comes with a one year guarantee. He will come back out for free during this period and reapply the pesticide. I would like the Angie’s List members to know that he was very professional. He got rid of the pests and his price was good. I will continue to use his services in the future.

We saw some dust trails in our basement. My wife called Exit Pest Control and we were told the price for a house call and for a possible treatment. When the gentleman came, he promptly told my wife that it was a water problem and not a pest problem. He then thoroughly inspected the premises, confirmed that we had no active termite/ant problems (we did have some about ten years ago) AND REFUSED TO ASSESS A FEE FOR THE VISIT. Needless to say, he has made a customer out of us and we will surely call in the future.

It was a very good experience and Mike was professional and punctual. He took great care to drill around my patio and not damage the pavers. His costs were well below the other two estimates I was given for the exact same service and materials used. I would defintely use Exit Pest and Animal Control again.

He came to the house and checked the attic and told us that it was not mice but they are flying squirrels. They just put a couple of traps up there and there is nothing else that you can do about them. He put the traps and he said there is nothing I can do for you and he didn't charge me for it. He was correct there were no mice but it was a flying squirrel. He was very accommodating and I think his name was mike. He didn't charge us for it and just told us to put some traps for it. He is a reputable contractor.

We found squirrels in our attic about a month ago. Mike came when he said he would, installed a one-way door over our attic eave so that the squirrels in our attic could leave. Then he returned a week later when the squirrels were all safely gone, just as he said he would, and covered the hole up completely. He also checked the rest of the outside of the house for ways the squirrels could get back in. He found an opening in our porch ceiling and covered that up as well. His services were quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. We were very happy with him.

He sprayed both inside and outside. This was the first time that I had him out, and everything turned out perfect. He was very professional, knowledgeable and prompt. He was here when promised, and he stuck to his schedule. His service was good, and he resolved the problem. I would recommend him to others. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if necessary.

A termite swarm in the front of the house prompted us to head for "Angies List" to find a reputable exterminator to rid us of the creatures that were in and under the house. Based on member recommendations and geography, we put in a call to Exit Pest Control of Bogota. Mike arrived later that same day and after inspecting the house outlined what he was going to do. He came back a week later, drilled holes, crawled under the deck, and assured us that the little buggers would soon be gone. Other than the termites, it was a pleasure to meet with someone with an" old fashioned " professional work ethic that was as personable as he was. Dealing with the owner of a family owned business makes all the difference in the world. Lets hear it for Exit Pest control and Angies List.

He was fantastic. He was very reasonable and he did not want to charge us for an issue that came up. He was very good. He is a little hard to get in touch with, but he is the one I was waiting for.

We got the 10% Angieslist discount. He found nothing. He decided that termite baits would be appropriate rather than spraying. It was delayed by two weeks because of the rains; he needed a dry weather. So, he came last week and drove holes around the house. He put in 12-15 baits. He was very good. It was a family business with him, his wife and his son. He returned the calls and he explained the delay because of the weather. I would recommend them highly. His price seemed reasonable and it included follow up visits.

Somebody found a mouse in our basement. I called him. He did a thorough examination. I did not see any other evidence of mice around. He said he could not see any. He did not charge me. He just said if I saw any other evidence I must give him a call. I think this mouse has been there for a very long time. Nobody just happened to notice it. It is not a symptom of a new problem. He came when he was going to come. He was very thorough. Before the first time I hired him for pest control; I had a very large company with whom I had a termite contract. They had a bunch of traps put out; I could have done that. They charged me $90. They put out traps all over the basement. When he came in he and his colleague crawled around the entire foundation of the house. They filled in every single crack that they could find. They found out what are they for. The mice were mostly getting in. They examined everything. After they left I have not had any mouse problem at all. This defecated mouse that we found was the first thing in two years. He is better than a mouse trap. I hope it was not there for two years but it has been there for a long time. He is a person who is highly professional and very thorough. He did not just use a mouse trap he actually went around and cornered the places where the mice get in. That just took care of the problem in a different way than just telling them one by one. There is always another mouse to get in; as I said we need to get rid of the place from where they come in. This past time I paid nothing. I would certainly use him again.

They did a good job. They said they would come back if anything showed up. They had to come out again about a month later as the mice came back. They solved the problem for us. They were very quick and very reliable.

Mike came and sprayed around the inside of the house and checked the exterior. He was able to find the next and sprayed it as well. He also promised that he would come back for no extra charge if they reappeared. I called him about 2 weeks later because we saw a small resurgence in two areas in the house. He came back as promised within a few days of calling him and resprayed both inside and outside the house. He was prompt professional and courteous. We haven't had a problem since.

I had raccoons in my attic preceded by squirrels (and probably preceded by pigeons). I had known about the squirrels for a while, but when the raccoons came in things turned bad fast, and that's when I called. I'd also seen squirrels downstairs in the house on two previous occasions, which I had mistakenly thought were part of the same problem. Michael Wacht came in and quoted me a single, low price to take care of the whole problem, and his price was far below the other estimates I'd had. But that's not (only) why I hired him. He just seemed to have a lot of experience and knew what he was talking about, and he didn't talk in that kind of exaggerated, aggressive way that contractors and salespeople often do. He was just calm, knowledgeable, and understated. Over a three or four-week period, he came back as needed until the job was done. He patiently trapped the raccoons and sealed up the openings, and he even fixed my chimney damper, which had been the way those two squirrels had gotten into my house. When I first talked to him about that, I was prepared to pay extra for a new chimney cap. But when the job was done, he didn't charge me a cent over the original price, and now I was able to close my chimney damper with a brand new cable (for the first time in all the years I'd lived here--I was once quoted an estimate of $200 just to fix that problem!). How many contractors would resist the opportunity to throw on an extra charge? Well, one thing I forgot to say: the third reason I hired him was that he had a great Angie's List rating. Now I know why.

I found Exit Pest Control on Angie's List and Mike came out the same day. He chased the squirrel out, put in a "one way door" on the hole, and returned several days later to check the attic. He thought he heard sounds of something still up there, so he left some traps (humane kind) and returned again the next day. This time, the traps were empty and he didn't see or hear any evidence that the squirrel was there, so he then sealed the hole. Several days later, I heard something scratching and tearing. I couldn't tell if it was coming from inside. I called Mike, and came out the same day. He didn't see any holes or any indication that the squirrel had reentered, but left traps again and returned the next day. He thinks it's trying to return, and will return if there's any evidence that it has.

We could not be more pleased with our dealings with No Exit. These are wonderful people to deal with and with very high integrity.
