Exit Pest Control

Bits of insect body parts and eggs the size of and color of rice were dropping out of the vent right over the shower. Exit Pest Control called back the same day, scheduled an appointment the same day and arrived on time. They diagnosed the problem, confirmed that the insects were ants and not termites, sealed the entry points, sprayed the area, and treated the exterior deck. They were professional, courteous and timely. A+++ in my opinion.

I found them on Angie's List. They had excellent service and they were very reasonably priced. I want to recommend them and I have recommended them to other people. They were very, very cheap compared to others we invited to give an estimate. They were very dedicated and did more than what we asked them to. I think they were superb and thank you for giving them to me.

Mike, the exterminator, inspected our house and found where there were mouse droppings. He placed traps and he closed some holes that the mice could enter through. After a few days, we saw no more mice.

He was excellent. He was very nice and his prices were reasonable. I had great confidence in his work.

Overall, the experience was great. Their price was very good. They were here for a long time, trapped everything, and I didn't have any problems.

Really well, Mike is a very likable man, professional from the start. He thoroughly went through all my crawl spaces and checked for termites etc., recognized dry rot, past damage. Gave me a good price to do a spray and then methodically went through it all. He also replaced rusted screws on a crawl space access and checked old termite traps. He is now my pest control service.

I contacted them, based on good reviews on Angie's List. Sorry, but I forgot the guy's name - he was very efficient, identified my problem right away, and fixed it on the spot. Put in metal and concrete barrier to prevent return of pests. No removal of pests needed, as none were present at that time. Turned out I had chipmunks that had found an entry point into my basement, and were using it as temporary shelter. Fair pricing.

One of our contractors noticed a yellow jacket hive inside one of the crawl spaces in a house we're preparing to move into. Not only did Exit give me a very reasonable estimate for removing the hive (about 1/4 of some of the other estimates I'd received), but they were able to come out to do the job same-day. They called me ahead of time to let me know what time they'd be at the house. When I arrived at the house before they'd told me they'd be there, they were already at the house and prepping to do the work. They gave a quick inspection, told me it wouldn't be any problem, and completed the job in about 10 minutes. They were also nice enough to caulk up the hole where the yellow jackets had entered the structure. They were professional, punctual, efficient, and thorough, not to mention reasonably priced. In my book, that's about all you can ask for. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and would recommend them highly to anyone.

I had noticed on my home security system a couple of possums hanging around on my property during the night moving around from my shed area, underneath my neighbor's fence and down under his deck. This occurred every other night for approximately two weeks. One night I noticed my cats going crazy at our family room window and I noticed the largest possum of the two immediately below the bay window there. This was a little too close for comfort for me and I felt they weren't going to be leaving the area anytime soon and were making themselves at home here. I was fairly sure they were taking up residence in my shed during the day as there was some ground dug out behind it. I decided to check Google and then Angie's List specifically for an animal removal service in the area. This is when I came upon Exit Animal Control. Since they had such great ratings and they also had a 10% Angie's list discount coupon at the time, I gave Mike a call and he came out the same afternoon and set up three baited, humane, live capture traps. Now it was a waiting game. Using my security monitor I could see that the first night it snowed and they didn't come out. The second night they wandered about in the area, but ignored the traps as they went pass them. On the third night though, mission accomplished! I called Mike the next morning to let him know that two of the traps had been sprung, and he came out to my home right away, checked on the traps, and let me know we got both of them. Looks like they may have been a large female and her adolescent offspring. He then removed them in their cages to transport them for relocation. Everything looks clear now and I have no more late night possum visits. Exit solved my problem.

Called on Thursday for a mouse problem and was told they couldn't come until Monday...

Very quick response. Was 30 min early for appointment. No sales pitch, no BS, just went right to work. Told me if he needed me he would come and get me, but went about his work without a disturbance to my family during the holidays. It seemed like he did not do enough to fix the issue, all of a sudden just told me he was done. I was put at ease with the year guarentee on his work, and to their credit, problem went away in the timeframe he told me it would, and has not re-occured.

Suddenly discovering serious damage to my attic after hearing suspect noises, I called Exit Monday at 8 AM when they opened. Mike and Storm came at noon and surveyed the situation. They guessed that I may have a raccoon (or raccoons) rather than squirrels. When they returned the next day, they confirmed their raccoon theory. Mike placed a strong metal cage on my roof with bait. The next day he found that the raccoon had torn apart the metal cage and escaped. He then built a stronger wooden/metal cage and several days later the problem was solved. This was the third time I've used EXIT in recent years and I have the highest respect for their speed, analytic abilities and professionalism. Considering what they had to do to ameliorate my situation, their price was quite reasonable. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION--thanks very much!

Very responsive and helpful. Returned 3 times at least tocheck on traps set. Returned itemized list of services provided and preventative measures for the future as soon as requested.

What I liked so much was the technician, Mike. He really wanted to know exactly what my problem was; he wanted me to walk around and show him. The fact is that since we did that together he really was able to solve the problem; he could find out where the mice were coming in. I have not had a sign of any problems since then, I did call him about another problem since then; he advised me on the phone what to do so he solved another problem. He is very knowledgeable, professional and so reassuring; he is like my new best friend. I absolutely recommend him to anyone. I will use him again in the future.

They came extremely quickly; as soon as I called he was here. He was efficient, quick and his price was very decent. I would use them again if I needed.

Mike arrived on time for the estimate. Gave the estimate, with a full explanation of what needed to be done, with no pressure. I got 2 other estimates and his was the lowest. I scheduled the work, which took place a little over a week later. He arrived on time, went to work and stayed with it until the job was done, with no waste of time. He was personable and professional. I am extremely pleased with this company, and will recommend them to anyone who needs this kind of work done.

Mike was same substantial as the other reviews on Angie's List. He responded promptly, came when he said he would come, was very nice, very professional, pricing was fair as well, and most importantly the fleas have not come back. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

He's very efficient and comes on time. If anything happens during the year I can always count on him to be there for me. I've never have him say "I'm too busy". I wouldn't use anyone else.

IT?S ALL TRUE! Angie?s List reviews accurately state that Exit Pest Control is A++++. The company is small, has been in business a long time, and the owner gives the estimates, does the work, has prices much less than the competition and the work his work is far superior. My recommendation: simply hire Exit based on Angie?s List recommendations or interview other companies first and then hire Exit and you will see why Exit is your best choice. We had a carpenter ant problem, immediately went to Angie?s List and was very impressed by the many exemplary Angie's List reports about Exit?s work. I called Exit Pest Control and spoke to the owner, Mike Wacht. (NB: Every other company I called sent a salesman.) Mr. Wacht gave me a very reasonable telephone cost estimate; came on time; and was very knowledgeable. He is a small businessman which has been around for a long time, all work is professionally and thoroughly done, is very friendly, and most of his work is done through referrals. Unlike his competitors, Mr. Wacht does did all his carpenter ant extermination (he also does other extermination work too) outside the house (so as not to add more chemicals than necessary and avoid human or pet contact), used a ladder to spray chemicals on high outside areas of the house (none of his competitors offered to do this because it takes more time, is more expensive and/or workers don?t like to go up on ladders); sprayed an outside perimeter of pesticide around the house to kill the carpenter ants when travel from the house to their tree homes; and his cost was much less that his competitors. When I learned the above, it was a nobrainer! I immediately hired Exit on the spot to remediate the carpenter ant problem. And today, carpenter ants in my house are history! Everything about the service was great! We now have an annual plan with them. They came out and found the issue right away, and took care of it just as quick. They also had a great price! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a good pest control service.

He was excellent and was good. We don’t have bees now. The guy’s name was Michael Watch. He was just fine. He came, he sprayed and killed bees. Now everything seems good. The quality was very good and great. He came within a day and came exactly when he said he would come. We have no complaints about him.

We moved into a new house and realized we had a silverfish problem, primarily in the bathrooms and bedrooms on the second floor. Exit came and inspected the house, quickly identified the issue/source, addressed the problem. We had some water entry issues in our attic (recently fixed by a roofer) but the silverfish remained. It turns out that there was a lot of old paper in the attic and obvious signs of silverfish. The exterminator explained why we were having an issue, why it came and went (they appear mainly when the attic is too hot or too cold) and what we could do to minimize issues in the future. Service was prompt, reasonably priced, and included a one year warranty. No issues since.

He is very thorough, and went out of his way to look for possible entry places for the ants, and found it.
