They were on time, professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Very pleased with their service.

It wasn't a pleasant experience. He kept finding things wrong with the garage door that weren't wrong. I haven't had any problems since then.

They had one employee come out; he completed the work in a day or two. He wanted it to be perfect for us. He did, everything fits perfectly, he even purchased a special panel to make it fit. Everything will go perfectly. You will not have any problems and he is open to make everything perfect for you.

The spring from my garage door went sailing thru the garage, luckily not hurting the car or anyone. I called Jimmy's Garage Door service as a recommendation from another Angie List member and friend. ...and am delighted. I called Jimmy and he and his helper came the very next day - both were professional and friendly. I would recommend them for their swift response and professional talents.

We ordered the $39 tune up special for garage doors from Jimmie's door service. They were not able to provide a tune up as they explained the door was an old stanley model with a plastic latch to the garage door and the opener had broken off. (this was a poor design as they described). We were able to work out a deal where they applied part of the tune up fee towards a new garage door, and gave me 3 openers for $25 each, so the opener was about $425 for parts and installation. They came on time and did the job well. Only thing I am still waiting for is the receipt, but all in all I would recommend them.

I initially received a quick response promising a call back to arrange a visit to provide an estimate. There was a delay but there were extenuating circumstances which were explained. I chose a different provider mostly on basis of price and ability to install quickly and no reflection on Jimmy's.

It went good. They were excellent. I didn't encounter any unexpected issues. They were quite good.

Everything went Perfect. Came same day for Quote, showed up one day after I approved the quote to do installation. Very friendly, helped program my truck to open door and left everything clean when he left.

They were easy to get a hold of. I would tell people to use them. It was a real pleasure to deal with them. They were good and came down when they said they would. They had a quick turn around time and they did a good job. They gave me as much time as I needed. Their price was average. Overall, it was a great experience.

The service provided made me realize I was lifting my garage doors by myself without the help of the wheels and pulleys I had. After the installation, the doors glided so smoothly I had to hold the door to prevent the door from sliding all the way back on the tracks. The service provider that came to my home was congenial, informative and thorough. I would recommend this company and this service.

He was really good. He was prompt, timely. He did what he needed to. Normally he charges for replacement, but he replaced it for us as part of the package so he went above and beyond in what he was supposed to do. As long as they are clear on what needs to be done and what they are paying for I don't think there can be too much confusion about what to expect for services so just have a good understanding of what you buying and what you paying for. The price was reasonable. I would use them again in the future.

The company was very responsive, getting back to me right away and scheduling the estimate. They used a different door manufacturer than the other two companies I obtained quotes from, but the materials seemed comparable and high in quality. One of the reasons that I did not go with this company is that they were the only one of the three that could not give me an estimate on the spot. They did email the estimate a couple of days later. I ended up going with a company that had an excellent presentation, but also the lowest price. With Jimmy's, I had to ask a lot of questions and drag the information out of them a little bit. I think they just need to work on presentation, because they seem to have a quality product. They did leave me brochures and color swatches.

They were amazing so nice. I called their office at 5pm the woman who answered was also so nice due to the fact I was in a panic since I could not open the double garage door. She said that they would be leaving another job shortly and they would be at my home within the hour and they were. They replaced cables and springs on the door they also reprogrammed my garage door keypad. My garage door is old and they had to spend quite a bit of time on it. I was very pleased and would recommend them highly.

I called them up and the gentleman I spoke to was really wonderful. He could have easily used me, he could have just come and look at the garage door and charge me. He was very kind. He told me, "All you need to do, ma'am, is just there's a screw at the base of the garage. All you need to do to make sure..." He was really patient with me when I don't know what screw he was talking about. He said, "You see a green light, that means you have to tighten it so it doesn't slip up and slash." He saved me a ton of money. This guy was really honest and very nice. He could have very easily come and do that and charge me $200 for it. He was really good with his job and trustworthy. He was really a good person. The quality was very good to me. I'll absolutely use them again.

Great experience. The gentleman who performed the work was extremely courteous and knowledgeable and he explained every aspect of the process. He also noticed that one of the doors was falling apart and performed an "on the spot" reinforcement. The garage doors have been operating beautifully and quietly for months now. I now have a "go to" garage guy!

Called on time. Came on time and performed work as expected. Very polite and professional. Only issue was black grease left on white garage door that I had to clean up myself.

The service worked out well. There were no additional charges to the $39 Big Deal. We have not used them before. They were professional and effective. They communicated clearly what they were doing, why, and what else I could do to keep the problem from recurring. One of my concerns especially with what they did was they were going to try and sell me something else. A worst example is like cleaning your ducts. They would say for $39 they would clean your ducts, but you would need to spend $1,500 cleaning out your system. There was none of that. It was straightforward. They came to do the job and got it done. The only thing they did was leave their contact information if I need anything in the future. So, I got a sense of them being honest as well. We were very happy with the service. The only outcome is a positive one.

The service was good. There was nothing in particular, they did the work quickly, efficiently, and it was fairly priced. I didn't have much interaction with them, my wife dealt with them. I would recommend them to a friend or family member. We paid a total of $200 for the additional work and they had to get parts.

I ended up needing the motor completely replaced on my garage door which was not something that was covered under the terms of the Big Deal. The provider replaced the motor as necessary and advised to contact Angie's List in order to get a refund in the Big Deal that was not applicable.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. He showed up on time and he was great. I felt they were trying to sell me too many other things. He was very nice and very professional. He did what I asked him to do. I chose not to do anything. He didn't do the tuneup because he told me there were too many other problems. I didn't spend any additional. They were excellent. I might use him in the future.

He came the same day we called him even is his schedule was full. He was very promt and economical. I recommedn him to my upstairs neighbor.

Good job with the installation. There was some disagreement about the garage door sensor and safety features. Apparently, the older garage openers are much more sensitive to objects in the path of the garage door. When I first tried to test the sensors, they did not respond immediately to an object placed in the direct path of the garage door. I think a better explanation might of helped smooth things over. Overall good job with the installation. Clean and professional work.
