Jimmy's Garage Door Service

I recently had Jimmy's Garage Door Service come to originally give me an estimate on a new garage door. I've had a troublesome T-handle and lock for quite a while and other companies would only replace the door, not fix it. Jimmy came by and was able to salvage my door by replacing my T-handle in a difficult spot. He also did a basic tune-up and my garage door has never worked this well, not even when I first purchased the home over 20 years ago! Jimmy was super helpful, quick and saved me a LOT of money. The only issue I had is that no one came out to my first appointment with the company. I had to call again and I heard back from them shortly later saying that there was a scheduling mistake and we were able to reschedule. Overall, I'd definitely recommend them.

I had a problem with garage door not closing properly. They were able to guide me over the phone how to fix it on my own, which was very easy. They could have easily charge me a visit fee to do it themselves. I will definetely use them for any garage issues in the future and highly recommend. Garage is working great again. Very professional company, pleasure to deal with.

The garage door was old, and the provider would not touch it to repair it. He only offered to replace it.

Although I do not know the cost of these two parts, I thought his fee was exorbitant for the parts and ten minutes of labor, at least compared to prior now retired garage repair men we have used over 20 years. They both also checked and oiled all cables, etc, every time they did a repair. He did not mention any additional charge for coming Saturday afternoon or for travel time or gas. He did check if garage door opener worked and cleaned up, before leaving.

He is so honest, candid, and reasonable.

He was absolutely A1 excellent. I did see him in the neighbourhood as well and I have been pointing his stuff and telling him how wonderful his work was. His price is absolutely fair and reasonable. The quality was excellent.

When I called the office I was told that Jimmy had a full schedule that day and couldn't come to my home until the next day. However, a few hours later I received a call stating that he had an opening in his schedule and was on his way. Jimmy diagnosed the problem as being caused by the extreme cold. He was able to open the door and adjusted the opener. He also lubricated the rollers and track. The opener is working perfectly. Jimmy was a pleasant person with whom to deal.. His price was reasonable, and he didn't attempt run up the bill. Without question I would use his services in the future.

Very pleased with Jimmy. He did not try to upsell me. He replaced the rollers with new nylon ones, made a big difference on noise reduction. He fully serviced/oiled the old machines in each door, and they all close properly and well now. Great job form start to finish.

I called their office late morning because my garage door wasn't working properly. I was told they could accommodate me later in the day and would call before they came. Apparently they do not have a quitting time because their truck actually arrived about 6PM. Within 20 minutes my door worked perfectly. and, in spite of it being a last minute appointment and very late in the day, the charge was just for a simple service call. If you have a garage door problem these are the people to call. I just wish their repair service covered other items because I would certainly use them.

Jimmy is great! He was able to come out to the house with a half hour of when I called him and his rates are very reasonable. He is beyond easy to work with and is just a pleasure to have in your home. I highly recommend him for any garage door services. I would not use anyone else!

Excellent. Jimmy showed up on time and did a great job. He was professional and explained everything once he was done. He cleaned 3eEverything up and left the garage neater than when he started. He made sure that I purchased what was best for my needs and did not push anything that was not necessary. Another thing that showed me he has integrity was when he came for the initial call, because the garage door would not open, he checked it out and he got it working for me and did not charge me. At this point, I had not committed to getting a new door and opener. He also was honest about the fact that I could most likely go a little while before I had to actually replace anything. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs garage door work done.

Jimmy was great. He actually replaced all the wiring twice, after I had fought with the builder of my townhouse to fix the garage door opener. They actually sent a guy whose main job was installing fireplaces. That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands and called Jimmy. Sharon was great and super responsive, setting up appointments. Jimmy was punctual, polite and really takes pride in his work. I think he was almost as frustrated as I was when he heard the door wasn't working after he'd replaced the wiring. He came back, spent some time on the phone with the manufacturer and replaced the wiring again. Haven't had another problem, but I wouldn't hesitate to call Jimmy again.

Jimmy was a complete professional. Removal was very smooth, but there were clearance issues on one side for the new track system. Jimmy solved the problem, installed tracks and door, and fine tuned the operation of the new door until it met his exacting standards. It was a pleasure to deal with such a competent and pleasant individual.

After several calls, I still have not recieved a call back nor the estimate for the work.

When he got there, he told me the deal was for rollers, but that it was only my sensors that needed to be replaced. Instead of the $99, it only ended up costing me $75. He did the job well. He replaced the sensors in a short amount of time. I'm pleased with the service.

Jimmy did a great job. Very thorough...checked everything....oiled everything....made sure that all was working well. Very personable and professional. Would use him again and recommend to others.

Fast with good results at great price

Ewart cam ove in a timely fashion. inspected and provided really amazing tips. This is relative to another service, I had used. These guys were super friendly, very knowledgeable, professional and reasonable. I will definitely use them again.

my wife back into old garage door - call jimmy him and his helper was there two days later which was good for me too,they pulled up in front of my house on time greeted each other and they got busy one started taken old garage door apart while other started assembling new door then they worked together to install new door the work went smoothly they took old door away - when finish they cleaned up very good even sprayed and wipe down garage door very nice guys very good workers extremely happy with jimmy garage door
