It was great. Jimmy came out and gave an estimate and then ordered parts. He came and did the whole removal/new door in one day. And even though they found some structural issues with our house (including termite damage to the frame of the door) that they hadn't anticipated and made the job much higher, he didn't change his price. He was incredibly professional and the door looks great.

Jimmy did a good job. He was a little higher than the estimated price, but overall everything is good. He spent quite a while installing the door and making sure everything was ok and the door worked right.

Jimmy was great. He explained everything thoroughly, gave me some tips on maintenance and gave me a quote for new garage doors-without a hard sell-when it is time to replace the old ones.

It went better than expected. I called on a Sunday afternoon and Jimmy was able to come the following day. He's a little pricier than, say, a home improvement store, but his services were great. He explained everything he was doing and showed me how to use the new opener. Also, he did a great job cleaning up after himself.

Very well. The quote was immediate with clear explanation of options and cost, when it will be done, and how long, the cost and upfront deposit. Once he finished, he explained how the door will work. Also, Jimmy is very professional and experienced in this service and pleasant to work with.

This is my first experience using Angie's List and it was great. I wanted fast, reliable service to fix our 2 garage doors and Jimmy delivered it. I called this morning and he accommodated my request for an afternoon appointment. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He assessed the problem immediately. 1st door would not close on its own without manually pressing close button. He fixed loose wires on bottom door sensors. 2nd garage door's cables were broken, Jimmy changed two springs. He also changed battery for one remote, which was not working, and adjusted the photo eyes so I could open the door from a further distance. Essentially, whatever questions I had regarding the doors were pleasantly addressed. All work was finished in one hour. I would use Jimmy again in the future for any garage door repair.

My old garage door cables broke. My garage door was very old non-insulated door. I called Jimmy's Garage Door Service. Jimmy immediately came that evening. I asked for repair on my existing door. He noticed everything that was wrong, explained to me and gave me an estimate for repairs. By talking to him, I got a feel that Jimmy is an honest, reliable, trustworthy man. I asked him what would it take to replace the old door with new door. He pulled out Clopay garage door brochure and gave me a price for complete replacement. I agreed to replace the door. He told to go on line and check the Clopay garage door. That evening I checked the garage door. He placed the order next day early morning. I called him and told him that I wanted better door and would like to change the door. He immediately called the distributor and hold off the order. We again met in the evening next day and decided to change for the Best Door by Clopay. His principle was that CUSTOMER SHALL BE HAPPY. He would take all the troubles just for the customer to make him happy. He promised that the door would come in (2) weeks. Exactly after (2) weeks, he called me that my door had arrived. He scheduled the installation next day morning. He came before time, removed the old door, and installed new door. All work was done in very professional manner, with technical expertise he possesses and till he was completely satisfied with the installation. He did not mind me sitting in the garage and watching him work. We kept on talking all various matters and he kept on doing his work. He told and I remember, "HE DOES ALL THE WORK AS IF HE WAS DOING WORK FOR HIMSELF, ON HIS OWN HOUSE, Customer must be happy!" I told him to keep on doing the good job all the time. He promised me to call him for any problems or trouble any time. I would recommend Jimmy of Jimmy's Garage Door Service to all and everyone.

The overall experience was great. Jimmy came over and gave us a quote to fix our old garage door opener. We asked if we needed a new one and he didn't try to sell us one, saying that ours was a top of the line model and just needed some repair. He was very knowledgeable and told us about a feature on our garage door opener that we didn't even know about! It took about 3 hours to do the job (longer than I expected) but he did quite a thorough job so we were extremely pleased. I called a few other companies and got price quotes so his price seemed fair. I would definitely recommend him to our friends.

Jimmy returned our call promptly and came that same evening (Thursday) to give us an estimate. Friday morning he came by with the contract and took our deposit. He showed up 1st thing Monday, helped my husband move some things out of the garage and got to work. When I returned home at 3pm we had a lovely new door and no signs of the old door or that work had been done. Jimmy was terrific!

A cable broke on my garage door. I called Jimmy for an estimate (got another phone quote from another company). He arrived on time, & gave me the estimate. I told him to go right ahead and fix it. Some other parts were worn, so he replaced them, also, explaining everything as he went along. He charged me for the other parts, but he was more than fair. The quote I got from a competitor for just the cable was twice what he charged me for everything. He also gave me a quote for a new garage door, since mine is very old. I will definitely call him when the time comes to replace it.

Garage now in perfect working order.

Jimmy was prompt, friendly and competent. He completed the job and gave instructions for the maintenance of the garage door. I would definitely use him again.

Jimmy knew right away what the problem was that prevented the door from operating - and fixed it promptly. He then took extra pains to go over the whole installation and discovered that the key pad also was not operable and replaced it. The work was done promptly, with good humor and reasonably. He's the sole operator of the business and takes great pains to be pleasant - and proficient.

Contractor submitted estimate and after approval showed up at the time promised. He worked diligently and one could tell that he had experience. He cleaned up the work side and took the old garage doors with him. All work was performed to satisfaction the same day.

Jimmy's Garage Doors is the place to go in our area for anything to do with garage doors. They are a very reliable, fairly priced and excellent quality business. I have recommended them to all of my friends and co-workers. I would certainly use them again in the future if necessary.
