I called to schedule appointment and he fit me in the same day. Jimmy showed up on time, explained all broken parts that needed replacing, suggested improvements for future, gave me maintenance tips, was courteous, professional, and thorough. The door was fixed in an hour and Jimmy also helped me with all garage door keypad issues I had not been able to resolve. Great job!!

The large spring broke on one side of the double garage door on the 13th. I called at 1:30 on the 14th, and we set up an appointment for an estimate between 4 and 5 that day. He called and said he was coming ,arriving at 4PM. We discussed the repair, arrived at a price and he began working right then and there! Wow! During the course of the job, more things were damaged than originally seen, but he had all the replacement parts on his truck and was able to complete everything in one visit. By 5:30 PM, he was paid and gone. What a hard worker and very thorough. We won't need anyone for a long time, but if we do, we now know who to call.

Jimmy came on time. Performed general maintenance on garage doors. He explained what he was doing and what I can do to maintain them going forward. Really nice guy, good experience.

Awesome. Jimmy offered to come to our house in the evening to take a look at our existing garage doors. He walked us through our options. A few days later I called him back and placed our order. Our special order doors took around 2-3 weeks to be manufactured. Jimmy returned to our home and installed them in one 10 hour day. I was impressed that he did the install all by himself. The quality of the work looks significantly better than I would expect from other install vendors like Home Depot/Lowes. I would not hesitate to recommend Jimmy to anyone!

Overall the job was done on time (in fact much earlier) at a reasonable price. He had the experience and expertise to examine and determine what needed to be done and did so responsibley and professionaly. He also provided me with tipos on how to maintain the opener and door so as to not have the same problem in the future.

I called Jimmy and scheduled a SATURDAY morning appointment. He showed up on time and completed the job in about 30 minutes total time. He also added a cord to the system as a backup in case the spring breaks again. I asked if he had a remote control so I could have an extra (I only had one), and he found one on his van, cleaned it up a bit, and gave it to me. My neighbor came by at this time and ended up ordering a whole new garage door system from Jimmy! Then, yesterday, during a power outage, I was unable to lock my garage door. In a panic, I called Jimmy and he came right over and attached a manual latch so I could lock my garage. This is the kind of old-fashioned service that is hard to come by these days. Jimmy knows what he is doing. He also believes in being good to his customers, because that's how you KEEP customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jimmy if you ever need help with your garage doors. He is the BEST!

This job could not have been done better by ANYONE, from start to finish!! We called Jimmy's on Tuesday, made an appointment for Wednesday morning at 10:30 am and he arrived at 10:29 am! We were unsure whether the garage door opener actually needed to be replaced, or if it might simply be repaired. Jimmy did everything in his power to repair the existing opener, and for a time, it appeared that this might solve the problem we had been having. However, when he checked in even more detail, it was clear that the capacitor was not working properly, and could potentially be hazardous. Therefore, he recommended that a new opener be installed. It was very clear to us that his assessment was correct, and therefore, we made arrangements for Jimmy to return on Thursday morning to replace the opener. Once again, he arrived promptly and proceeded to do EVERYTHING required to provide excellent service. It's hard to express how professional......and pleasant.....Jimmy was, but suffice it to say, we were VERY pleased. When he completed the job, he cleaned up the entire area PERFECTLY, explained in detail how the new door and its controls worked, and generally left us knowing that we received a quality job at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate for one second to recommend Jimmy to anyone seeking a true professional with a track record to prove it!!

I can't believe how nice and efficient the man was/ He was an absolute pleasure! Never in my life did I ever have a faster more efficient service call!!!!

He came the same day I called! He is such a friendly and pleasant person, it was a pleasure to have him here. He immediately analyzed the problems and showed me that the door was not operating safely and had not been installed well. He added a support bar in one place, changed two springs and realigned them, attached one connection piece more securely to the wall, and did other things, for a full hour. At the end, the door was operating better, but still not perfectly, so Jimmy again looked for problems and wound up replacing something else. At the same time, the head of our condominium association came by to see what was wrong with the garage door, since all of our condo units have the same doors, and Jimmy was very willing to show him what needed fixing. When he was finished, I asked him about an outdoor keypad for the garage that wasn't working, and he tested and fixed it- right away-for no extra charge. Unfortunately, over the next few days, the door started sticking again--but nowhere near as badly as before. I called and Jimmy came by right away to do some more adjustments--all at no extra charge. The door is still not operating perfectly, but I believe Jimmy did everything possible to fix it. He is a pleasure to deal with. A couple weeks later, the door was still not working perfectly. I hadn't called him back about it because he had voluntarily come back once before to try to make it better--it helped but not completely. Here's the wonderful part: His office actually called me to check that the door was now OK. Even my doctor doesn't call to see if I'm OK after an office visit. Jimmy immediately called me back and arranged to come again to make it right. When he arrived, he told me I should never hesitate to call him to return if needed. He re-checked everything very, very carefully and found something else that needed fixing. That did the trick. When we asked how much we owed him, he didn't want to take any money! We insisted on paying because this was the second time he had come back and each time he had spent a very long time and replaced some parts, too. This man is a real treasure! If you need work on your garage door or a new door, call him. I can't praise him enough.

Bottom line, Jimmy was excellent. He provided excellent customer service. He arrived early for the appointment due to a cancellation. He was very polite and showed me how to maintain the garage door myself. Most repair people don't take the time to show homeowners what basic maintenance they can do. He is the example that all businesses should follow. I will recommend him to all friends and family.

Jimmy came to the propertity exactly on time to inspect the existing doors and worked out the proposal on site. Various options for the doors where presented and materials and other details explained. Within just a couple of days after the visit, Jimmy proposed a date for the installation. The installation consumed the whole day and was done very professionally with great attention to detail. The old doors and steel structured were removed from the property and everything was completely cleaned up. There wasn't as much as a screw left behind. Jimmy did exactly what he said he would do at the price he quoted. A+.

The total experience was TOP NOTCH! I called and Jimmy was able to come out the very next day! He was ontime and extremely personable. Jimmy explained everything that needed to be done, and most importantly, WHY it needed to be done. He takes great pride in his work and shows. I was encourage to watch the entire process, so I understood what was being done and WHY. I could ask for better service or quality!

I had an old garage door, made of wood, and it was old when I got this house 20 years ago. It was about time to get it replaced and I was tired of painting it every other year. Got an estimate from Jimmy and he explained my options and what the process would be. Since it was an odd size, a custom door was ordered and it was installed a week and a half later. In taking down the old door, it was found that some of the old suuports were rotten so we had them replaced also. Made the job longer then planned, but it was the right thing to do. Great job and the door looks great.

They were fantastic. He came and was done in about an hour. He took time explaining what he was doing and why. He is very knowledgeable.

Jimmy was punctual and reasonable. He was very friendly and explained the process in detail. He was also efficient and neat.

He came the same day for an estimate, and was very patient as I looked at pictures of garage doors. He measured and gave me prices for two different styles, which I thought were extremely reasonable. I decided on the more expensive of the two, and the next day gave him a $500 deposit. The door was installed two weeks later, and I am very pleased. He made a recommendation for the placement of the straps (it's a carriage-type door) that was different from what was pictured in the color brochure, and I agreed with him completely - he has the eye of an artist. It was clear from observing him work that he is extremely attentive to detail and aesthetics, and is a perfectionist. He even swept out my garage, and painstakingly wiped every speck of dust off the garage door windows. I would recommend him without hesitation.

One of our doors was not operating properly. One track was bent and the wheel/casters were not traveling smoothly. On occasion, the door would jam. Also, the rubber weather seal needed to be replaced. I called Jimmy's on a Thursday afternoon, and my call was returned early Friday. Jimmy was at my house at 3pm on Friday. After showing me what a shoddy installation I had, he replaced the track, the weather seal on both doors, greased the rail, greased the chain, and had both doors running smooth within one hour. He repaired the brackets that attach the track to the ceiling. He's friendly and enjoys showing customers what he does and why he does it. He suggests ways to keep your doors moving smooth. The estimate at the beginning of the job was $250. When the job was complete, Jimmy asked for $225. I was delighted to pay him $250.

I called Saturday morning around 10 and spoke with Sharon. She was very polite and scheduled a visit between 1:30 and 2pm for the same day. Jimmy arrived on time and proceeded to troubleshoot the problem. He would have to order the spring to be made (one for each side) but would replace the broken spring with a temporary spring so that I could use the garage door. He did not charge for this service. He then came back today to install the new springs. He even straightened out the rails and elimintated an anoying screech that the door had been exhibiting for months. Jimmy is a gentleman and knows garage doors and their systems; I *highly* recommend him to anyone needing this type of work. You won't be dissapointed.

They did an excellent job. They were very polite and neat. They also cleaned up after themselves. They were professional, responsive and punctual.

I called at 10:00 a.m. on 4/28, and made an appointment for 5:00 p.m. 4/29. The phone operator, which I later found out was his wife Sharon, called back about 15 minutes later and said that he would be available today between noon and 1:00. I told her that would work out, and to please have him call me when he was close to my home, as it would take 15 minutes for me to drive from work to my home. Jimmy did call at noon sharp, and I met him at the house. He quickly assessed the situation and took the time to show me what was broken and what needed to be replaced. I told him he was the pro and to do what he needed to do. I wish there were more repair people out there like him, who do the right thing by the customer. He was done in approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. I would recommend him highly to anyone. My second garage door opener is old and he told me it still had some life in it, but when it does "die", I will definitely employ Jimmy to replace it.

Jimmy is very honest, punctual and did what he said he would do.

It was just one person who came out to fix it, and he was here for over three hours. For the amount of work he did and the time that he spent on it, the price was good. He diagnosed the cause in the first place, and figured how to work it, adjust it and fix it. It was a wooden door and he had to reinforce the door with steel. In an emergent situation, you just have to rely on the person who comes, and you don t have the option to go around and check the prices. He could have said that I needed a whole new system which might have cost me anywhere between $400 and $2000. Instead, he game me the option to either go for a new one or get this one repaired. I chose to have it repaired, and he repaired it, which I don t think a lot of other people would have done. The door works perfectly now.

He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do. He came on the same day that I called and it was very fast response. He was very good and his price was reasonable.
