Jimmy was responsive and got everything working. He even looked at my key pad that I've been having issues with and took care of it. Great experience.

Very prompt, actually arrived 10 minutes early in a nice new van. Performed the extra work we needed done, switched thewheels along the side of the door from steel to nylon. Adjusted cables, installed safety cables and cable wheels ($75 extra for wheels and safety cable). Door works smooth now like a different door. Should not have lived with the problems for as long as we have. Said our opener was a good one, don't need a new one. Another good Angie's List experience.

Jimmy did a great job and was very friendly. He turned my crooked, creaky door into a smooth rolling one.

On my first appointment Jimmy was running very late so i rescheduled (sharon was very apologetic and offerred to charge me for just one door). When he came he got right to work and was very professional. He also removed two old springs at no cost. He was fast and efficient. Sharon was highly responsive to my emails

Jimmie's Garage Door Service did exactly what I needed and made some observations on this old door installation that makes me want to use him when it comes time to replace the door. He also surveyed the garage, noted I did not have a separate entry door and asked how I would get to my generator in a power failure. He recommended installing a special key and lock combo that would allow me to access the emergency release for the door. I highly recommend this little company with very personalized service and very reasonable pricing. I recommended him that day to a friend who is in need of new doors for his garage.

Arrived on time, completed all work in a timely fashion. Noticed as issue with a wheel and replaced it as part of the service. Would highly recommend.

Don't take my word for it. Read the other reviews. As a side note and not an issue with with installation or the Liftmaster system I received, but when I noticed the door not closing and would click and retract open again something was wrong. My initial fear was that the Liftmaster opener needed replacing. One call to Jimmy and prompt response back from his wife, she left me a voicemail indicating to align the infrared sensors at the door. Apparently, one of my kids bumped into it with her bicycle and threw the eye off causing the safety feature to kick in. With a slight wiggle and alignment the door operates normally. Awesome!!! No service call for a visit. She helped in one return phone call without anyone wasting their time and day for such a simple fix.

The entire process was professional and easy. I was able to make an appointment via email, they showed up on time, performed the repairs to my garage door, and my door works beautifully! He was extremely professional, didn't try to "up sell" me and I will definitely use them again!

Jimmy was punctual and walked me through the options and then spent the better part of a Saturday installing 2 garage door openers. I was expecting great service as I had also used his company 3 years ago when I replaced both garage doors (spending at about $3500 at the time) and I had received fantastic service then. The experience was great...until the end. I asked for the opener remotes to be reprogrammed to match our prior setup and he shared he had no time do so. Instead, he spent about 10 minutes advising me to just label the remotes and use them as-is. He also suggested that I call him later if I had questions. He was gone in a flash. I took out the instruction manuals and reprogrammed both openers, 3 remotes, and the homelink controls in our cars in about 15 minutes (about the same amount of time that he spent advising me on remote labeling). I'm aware of the fact that small business people have to always run to their next clients, but it would have been a better experience if he had even offered to return rather than (in my mind) leaving me to fully complete the job to my satisfaction. Overall and sadly, this was an average experience when compared to other contractors.

Although he was a bit late due to an error in scheduling, once Jimmy arrived he was thorough and extremely professional. In my humble opinion he want above and beyond my expectations and I was left very satisfied with the quality of work. He also explained the issue I had and took the appropriate step to correct it as well as a few other things he discovered! I would definitely utilize his services again in the future.

Work was performed. Received direction for preventative maintenance. Had all parts available on the truck. Performed all services in one visit.

They showed up on time and with a great attitude. It was freezing outside and an overall dreary winter's day, but that did not matter to them. Service was performed professionally and handled some other repairs to the garage doors while they were here. We had some paint on the pins for the rollers, which made the job more difficult, but they chugged right through it. Well worth the money spent.

I originally contacted Jimmy's Garage Door Service for an Angie's List Big Deal garage door tune-up. Sharon in the office responded to my inquiry hours after I emailed the company on a Sunday to schedule it. With a large snowstorm on the horizon, she was incredibly flexible about rescheduling it at at time that was convenient for me so the technician would not have to walk through a foot of snow to get to my garage door. I live in an older house, and have known for a while that the springs, rollers and cables on my garage door were likely at the end of their useful life. In fact, one of the only issues that came up during my home inspection prior to buying the house was the deteriorating state of the springs. The technician arrived on time and was excellent about pointing out exactly what was wrong. Even though the original project was for a tune up and replacing just the rollers on the track, when he realized I had more rollers than what was part of the Big Deal, he told me I would not be charged extra for that service. The technician showed me exactly what was wrong with the springs, cables and rollers on my garage door and provided me with an estimate on the spot to replace them all. I agreed to the estimate and within just a couple hours the garage door was operating smoother, quieter and actually closed better than it did prior to the service being performed. The technician was also incredibly friendly and clearly took a great deal of pride in the work he did. I used to have to hide either outside or behind a door when opening or closing my garage door for fear that one of the springs would break and injure me. Now, the door opens and closes better than it ever has and doesn't shake the entire house during operation. Every aspect of working with Jimmy's Garage Door Service was thorough and professional. From the ease and scheduling of the appointment and payment with Sharon in the office to the final result of a garage door that runs better than it has in decades, I was extremely pleased with the process and value of this level of service.

This was a flawless and absolutely fantastic experience. Jimmy is a very personable and likeable guy.....you can't help but notice how he genuinely cares about your situation and that he has a great knowledge of the subject matter. On the scheduled day of service, he arrived promptly and resolved all items by himself. He single-handedly replaced my garage door opener, opening keypad, replaced all trac-door rollers, replaced springs, and even tuned up the existing door (installed a safety mechanism for closure, tightened the chain, and handled the removal of all existing dated items). I was amazed that so much work was handled by this one guy in a matter of hours. His work was top-notch, and I will have no problem calling on him again in the future & highly recommend him to all that need his service. Thank you for a wonderful job!

I could not be more pleased! Jimmy is a good, honest man. He identified the problem immediately, found the necessary part on his van and replaced it very quickly. The work was done very quickly, and the price ($85) was so reasonable! (I was expecting to pay much more.) Before he left, Jimmy also oiled all the hinges on my garage doors. I recommend him to everyone, and would definitely use him again.

Came and gave estimate and said I needed some framework done. Recommended a carpenter who gave me a price for framework. Both of them work together to get the job done. First Jimmy's remove the old doors, then carpenter came in removed old framework and rebuilt front of garage, when done, Jimmy's came in and put the doors in. Great teamwork all the way around.

As the special was advertised, we fixed 1 garage door and had the rollers replaced. They wanted to do both but we held firm with getting just 1 done for the advertised price. The guy was nice, punctual and professional. We may definitely use him when we are ready to replace our old garage doors.

Jimmy was great. He did a good job. He was very pleasant. He encouraged me to watch him, and he did more than what they said they were going to do. I did ask for an extra which he did at a reasonable price.

Wow!! What a pleasure doing business with Jimmy's Garage Door Service!!!! Jimmy arrived on time, was extremely pleasant and obviously really knew what he was doing. He replaced the rollers, and I needed to have the pulleys replaced (and he took the time to show me why as he replaced them) - no argument from me. He had to adjust the opener chain, adjust the railings as well and lubricated all the parts. The garage door now closes smoothly, quietly and in a smooth (no jerky) motion. I will definitely recommend him to my neighbors and whenever I need garage servicing again (new springs, etc). Jimmy will be the one I call without a doubt (I have already added him to my personal contact list).

Jimmy was great. He was quick with his communications back with me, he was very professional and prompt. The price was definitely an "A" as well. His work was passionate, he really did well at what he does.
