Jimmy's Garage Door Service

It was great....quick, efficient, and professional. No problems whatsoever.

He was very good; he did a little extra for me and he didn't charge me. I had a little trouble with the connection for the lights in there and he looked at it for two seconds and whatever it was-loose wire or something and it was fine. It was not part of the package; he just did it. He also cleaned off the inside of the garage door because it was kind of dirty. He knew exactly what he was doing.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and did a pretty good job. He came at the appointment time we had scheduled. He was not clear that we had already paid for the Big Deal so we showed him our email and he was okay with that. He seemed very reliable, punctual and nice.

Arrived within 10 minutes of scheduled appointment. Jimmy was very professional. Very neat in appearance. Vehicle clean. Worked quickly. He removed old unit, dismantled it and took it with him. He even cleaned up all debris. Explained how to program security codes and reminded us about keeping area around sensors clear and to make sure antenna extended. One of the better tradesmen I have observed applying their trade.

The service worked out okay. I only paid the $99 big deal. They came according to my schedule. He was not late or early. They did a great job. I think he was very good. I did not have any issues with him. The price was reasonable.

The service I recieved was excellent. My garage door would not open I did not know why. They came and fix the door everything is fablous

I used an Angie's List Deal to replace rollers on 2 garage doors and tune up the doors. Jimmy did a great job including readjusting the tracks to stop the doors from shaking. He also re-programmed my outdoor remote control at no charge and replaced a fraying cable at a reasonable price. Definitely would use him again.

Scheduling was difficult, but service was very good.

It went well. It turned out we had grease where it wasn't supposed to be, and we had to clean that off. Otherwise, the service was very good, the gentleman was punctual and helpful. We'd use them again!

The tune up included Jimmy inspecting the garage door and replacing all the wheels. During the inspection he discovered that part of the problem was with the pulleys which were just worn and not working properly. The additional cost was $49. for 4 pulleys installed. I was very pleased with the amount of time Jimmy spent making sure that when he left, the door was working smoothly. When he was finished he noticed that a few nails were missing from the outside molding around the garage door, he fixed that too. I would definitley reccommend him to friends and neighbors. He and his wife Sharon are a class act.

Jimmy came out, saw what was wrong, fixed it. Also attached something to make sure we didn't roll up the garage door too far. The work was done today, so it is impossible for me to know how long it will stand the test of time, but I have no reason to be pessimistic about it that I can see. Jimmy was punctual, friendly, and helpful. So much so that I called his office after he left and immediately hired them again to do some other work.

Our garage door hasn't worked correctly since we moved into the house. It has always been difficult to open and likely to fall down unexpectedly once it was open. It also fell off the tracks when pushed all the way open. He came and replaced the springs, pulleys, and put something at the end of the tracks so it wouldn't fall off. He oiled everything and the door works again. I opens easily and stays were it's supposed to stay. It's great to have the garage again--we haven't really used it much in the past few years. He arrived when he said he would, evaluated the door and was prepared to fix what needed to be fixed right then. He worked quickly and professionally. He was kind.

Appointment had to be rescheduled because of vacation timing, but well worth the wait/rescheduling. Jimmie arrived on time and performed all services in 2 hours. I couldn't be happier with the smoothe, quiet operation of our garage door.

Jimmy was terrific. After he familiarized himself with the set-up he worked independently and called for me when he wanted to show me something. I plan to use him to replace my garage door next summer.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. I needed 6 rollers and the Big Deal only covered 4 so I had to pay a little bit of an extra charge.

Jimmy was great! He was on time, did everything he could think of to correct the issue with my opener and my garage door has never been better.

Very well. In addition to doing a thorough job, Jimmy provided some useful information about our doors (fairly new) and the motors, which are no longer produced. He recommended a replacement model when the 18-year old motors eventually die. He was friendly, competent, informative and responsive to my questions.

I left a message with this service on Saturday and my call was returned within minutes. An appt was scheduled for Monday to repair my garage door. The technician arrived on time, reviewed what needed to be done and provided a quote for the repair, which I agreed to. The garage door was repaired, along with tuning up, tightening and lubricating all the parts of the garage door. The garage door is now repair and much quieter too!
