+ -1 moreI called Jimmy at 10am on a Saturday morning after my garage door spring had broken hoping that I could get someone to come in that same day. I was told he would try to make it here before 12 and he showed up at 11:35, before schedule and on a Saturday. He was very professional, knowledgeable and had the whole job done in an hour. He did a great job at a fair price and I'm happy that now I have found a go-to guy for all my garage door work. Highly recommended!
Description of Work: Replaced springs, pulleys and cabling and tuned up garage door system.

+ -1 more.Provider came to house as planned. I believe work was excellent. My only beef was that I engaged this garage mechanic from an Angie's List special deal for $99, as I recall. When Jimmy came he said it would cost $198, because we have a two-car garage. I wasn't sure if the double charge was legit, so I didn't complain. But a customer normally expects to be charged the amount of a deal, but so many times they end up having to pay more.

+ -1 moreOne of my garage doors was not working. I bought the $99 coupon in the evening and was surprised by the speedy response the next morning. The crew of two staff showed up right on schedule, the next day. They fixed the door and replaced the rollers. It turned out the other two doors needed light tune up, which they did without additional charges. Even better, they reset the remote controls door openers to work again (we have not used them for several years). All doors and remotes are now working well. I could not imagine a better service than that. THANK YOU JIMMY & CREW.

They are very confident in their job and product. They know what they are talking about. They are aggressive in their sales and wont charge you until the job is done and you are happy with it. Very easy transaction and would keep them for any other garage door problems.

We did not have all the parts we needed and I guess, maybe I don't know enough about garage doors so there was some extra things that we knew that weren't covered but he actually did have those parts with him so we had to make deal with what we have on hand. He's very nice and very friendly. It wasn't expensive.

+ -1 moreWe first called Jimmy's when a spring suddenly broke on our garage door, and it couldn't open. His response was quick (even though it was a Saturday) and he replaced the springs so we could open the door. Impressed with his level of customer service, we got some information from him for a new garage door opener to replace our older unit. Within a few weeks, we called and requested this service. Work was scheduled promptly. He arrived on time with a helper, and they proceeded to change out the old unit with the new one. They took their time - nothing was rushed. Explained the new system to us and cleaned up garage. Based on his reviews, it is obvious this guy knows how to run a business.

Because it was an emergency, his office staff promised he would come out today and gave me an approximate timeframe when he would be at my home. When Jimmy was delayed at another appointment, his staff called to let me know and even offered to move my appointment if necessary. I was too traumatized from my accident and had no plans of leaving the house so I was happy to wait. Jimmy arrived about 4 hours after my initial call. He was professional, reassuring and friendly. He got to work right away and was done in about 45 minutes.
Description of Work: I accidentally backed into my garage door this morning and as a result the door could no longer close. Jimmy repaired the damage and got the door operational again. He will be back to replace the dented door panels.

+ -1 moreAstonishing that there is such good service out there at a very reasonable price. Jimmy really cares about doing a good job both quality and looks. My two car garage was uneven and he was able to make it look more even. His office support Sharon is really nice and helpful also.
Description of Work: Jimmy is fabulous - I wish all home maintenance and repairs went this well. He came to measure and left me with a couple of garage door catalogues to pick from. Advised me on how to get the trim fixed before hand. There was a weather delay doing the preliminary work but once I'd had it done I scheduled and had the work completed within a week.

Description of Work: They repaired my garage door in about an hour , it was not opening and I could not get my car out and they replaced the rollers, spring and cable . I called 3 others companies and they were not able to do "same day service" .. very upsetting.. I found Jimmy here on Angie's list. I spoke to there office manager in the morning at 8 am, she told me she would call me later. She called me around 4:30pm , she told me the cost of the repair over the phone. I approved it., she told me that Jimmy had just gotten to my complex .. When I arrive at home at 5:45 pm , Jimmy and his assistant were working on my garage door . I was very relieved to know that my door was going to be fix that night. Thanks to the staff at Jimmy's garage door, they were so nice .. I will be getting an estimate from Jimmy's in a few days for a new door .. My garage door is 30 years old, original door. Previous owner never replaced it .
