Description of Work: I discussed my needs on the telephone with Jimmy's administrative assistant prior to Jimmy actually coming to my house. She not only understood my needs/requests, but also made sure to repeat these requests back to me. I had a specific window of time in which a new garage door opener (liftmaster security), an outside keypad, and an indoor keypad needed to be installed. Jimmy's assistant worked with me and actually adjusted his schedule to accommodatee my needs. Jimmy arrived the very next day a few minutes early and inspected my garage door as well as the existing cables and springs. Unbeknownst to me, my cables were frayed in several places. Jimmy assured me that he could and would replace my cables as part of his service call. He was extremely competent, efficient, knowledgeable, and personable. The job was completed with care and Jimmy even cleaned the garage floor before departing. I would not only enthusiastically recommend Jimmy's Garage Doors but would also use Jimmy again without a second's hesitation. I am sooooooo grateful for Angie's List and it's recommendation of Jimmy's Garage Doors.

Description of Work: Jimmy came on Monday to assess our garage door opener. It was very old and wasn't working. I had gone on line with Consumers Reports and amazingly the product they suggested was what Jimmy suggested and installed on Wednesday. Punctual, efficient, polite and kind, he went out of his way to see that everything worked to his and my satisfaction, and when he found a couple of wheels that needed replacing, he did it at no charge. Jimmy and his work is perfection. It was a pleasure.

Description of Work: My garage doors weren't working properly - sometimes not doing down all the way, sometimes going up when they were supposed to be going down, and eventually, not going up or down at all. Jimmy was great - his staff was responsive and helpful, prompt and efficient...he was punctual, professional, and knows his business...fixed our problems in 45 minutes...he offers an $85 coupon for Anglie's List members, but since he only charged $75, I didn't even use it. Would definitely recommend him.

Description of Work: Jimmy came by for an estimate on 2 garage doors and noticed I needed a small repair one of the existing garages. Without me even deciding to use him for the job he replaced the pulley wheel on the existing garage door so it would operate correctly. He didn't charge me for this! This goes to show why this man is #1 in NJ.

He was able to immediately analyze the cause of the problem, and fixed the problems thoroughly and expertly. He had the specific tool for the specific task, and really an expert in his specialty. I am very confident with how he repaired my garage door, and would recommend his services, without hesitation. The couple was very pleasant, and Jimmy cleaned up after the job.
