First of all, Jeff and his gangs are great, fun and professional to work with. When we just recently moved in, we have been meeting many contractors and Jeff was one of them. He is punctual and reliable. He provides us with his best quote with options for our choice. He explain the pros and cons for both options.

They are always very quick to return calls, come on time and are friendly and efficient. They are now my go-to plumbers.

Wonderful service. They came when they said they would and they were very professional. I appreciate that they wore booties to keep my carpets clean and didn't leave anything for me to clean up! I also had a problem with the taste of my kitchen water and they made a few suggestions, changed a hose and it worked! I have already scheduled them for some additional jobs I have put off.

They could have provided some quotes beforehand. It just shocked me, when I knew the price. All the work was done already, so I couldn't refuse. The price was a bummer, it was ridiculously high.

Jeff was very prompt returning my call. We found water in our basement late at night and he ws out earlier than promised the next morning. We feared the water was our hot water heater AND our A/C but after he inspected it, he was confident the water was only from a small piece of tubing that was cracked. He replaced the section of tubing with the crack and now we are good to go. He could've told us both things were a problem (our tank is ~14 years old) and we needed to replace the tank as well. But he was HONEST and made only the small repair necessary. The expense came in that the tubing was copper, but we are very pleased with Hoffman and will definitely call them back for the other projects we need to do.

I cannot say enough about this company!! Dane arrived promptly in a sparkly white truck, and neat as a pin himself, always certain to cover his shoes...the work was done efficiently, and he even repaired the very shoddy work of a 'master plumber' who had installed a new toilet without anchoring it to the floor! Dane pulled the toilet, cleaned the flange installed new wax gasket and bolts, reset the toilet and caulked at base....all left undone by previous plumber.... On the second visit, he and partner snaked drain pipe in wall. This was the very best, most efficient plumbing service we have ever had in the 50 years of living in this house. It didn't. Last week I spoke with the woman who answered the phone & explained what I wanted. She said a tech would call me to discuss. Haven't heard from them since.

Jeff did estimate the other day and Rob performed the work. Both were nice and professional. Excellent job and the price is lower than the other one, which was also asked to give an estimate.

Professional service from beginning to end. I wasn't at the worksite but mamma says that the tech was very courteous and worked quietly and neatly. I'm very appreciative of that. Also the added a few extra shut off valves for each. The faucets work like a gem and I got what I expected. Will do business with a again and recommend.

Very happy with the service, they did great job replacing our water heater. There was a miscommunication initially through emailing using Angie's list. I recommend to call them or email them directly in lieu of using Agie's list message board.

Very professional, clean, friendly, and helpful throughout the whole process. The crew did an excellent job with the installation of both our heat and the master bathroom. They offered excellent suggestions to improve the layout of our bathroom that I had not thought of. The work was very thorough and neatly done. They even put drop clothes all the way from the front door to the work area! The price was fair and work was completed on time.

BE VERY WARNED!!! Typical bait and switch artist. Will agree to something to get the work. Then will come in and claim that the scope of work is more complicated than he thought. Will try to get you to agree to do the work on a time and material basis. Will then ask for more money and if you don't give it to him, he will walk off the job and leave you high and dry. When I told him that I think that he ripped me off, his response was "try doing it yourself. You will learn fast".

They were very professional. The work performed( joints and solders) was very clean. Answer all our questions after the work. Could be happier with the work and service.

I am very happy I hired Hoffman to do this job. The two people who were sent to perform the work were professional and friendly and in my opinion are a great asset to their company. They were on time. The gas line work was clean and professionally done. They hooked up the stove, turned the water heater back on and ensured the proper flow of gas was going to the boiler. I feel secure for our safety - and that is the number one thing for me when dealing with gas lines. Jeff who came for the estimate was professional and friendly and the price was right. Whenever I called and If I had to leave a message, my calls were always returned promptly. I will hire this company again for when I need a plumber.

To get to the pipe to cut out the old value and solder the new one, they had to cut the dry wall open in the dinning room to get to the pipe (which I already knew had to happen); and not only replaced the value but did a very good job at closing up the hole in the wall, and cleaned up after themselves, which was much appreciated (as you probably know, a lot of contractors leave a mess). Also Huffmann and Sons were 100 bucks cheaper than another local plumber that did an estimate for the same exact job (I had our water heater replaced, and asked if they can look at the broken value, their estimate was $350, which I thought was over priced, especially since I think they should have given me a discount for multiple jobs given that I already had them installing the water heater and new leakage pan and drain pipe for it). I will definitely use them again for my plumbing needs.

They did a great job. Toilet works well , and they left the site clean and neat. Also priced very reasonable.

Excellent, professional experience from start to finish. Without a doubt they will be our first call for any plumbing needs. The work that was performed was worth every penny. All of the equipment was cleanly mounted and sealed precisely.

I have a septic system and an automatic cat litter cleaning box. This litter box requires a cold water inlet which mixes with the soap to wash the granules. Additionally it connects to your sewage system (toilet, washing machine, etc.) to scoop out the waste. Due to limited space, the only place I can keep this cat litter box is in the basement which means I need some method (pump) to get the dirty water up and out to my septic line. I called Hoffmann & Sons based on other positive reviews I read on Angie's List. The receptionist took my info and said that Jeff would be calling me back. Approximately 30 seconds later, I received a call from Jeff who was on the road. He was very interested in understanding how this cat littler box actually worked so he could tailor an appropriate solution based on its needs. He requested that I send him over some information from the litter box manufacturer. He reviewed and got back to me a week later. I was up front to tell him that I wasn't in a rush. It's currently the winter time and I just needed to get it working by the time the summer rolled around in preparation for a vacation. Jeff came by and took a look at my basement and we agreed on a solution, price, and scheduled an install date. His guys showed up on time and were courteous and knowledgeable. The install took about 2 hours and they did not leave any mess once done. Overall I am very pleased with the final product and would definitely use Hoffmann & Sons again.

It went very well, as it always does with Hoffmann & Sons Plumbing. Matthew and Jeff (Jr., I believe) came to take care of these two issues and did a very thorough, excellent job. They know what they're doing and have great interpersonal skills as well. There's no substitute for a good contractor that does high quality work and cares enough to make sure it's exactly what the customer wants. Highly recommended for all your plumbing issues.
