Tim arrived at the proposed time and completed his work in a professional manner, explaining what needed to be done and answering all questions. I am very satisfied with the service provided and highly recommend Schiable's.

Had an issue where my A/C was causing 3-5s dimming of the house lights. When other HVAC places were offering $90 "tune-ups", I went with Schaible's because of their reviews. Their service call fee was about twice that. What I did not expect SINCE I LIVE LESS THAN 5 MILES AWAY was that the trip charge included NO services. The service was extra. I specifically asked the techs about changing the capacitors, and possibly installing a hard start kit. Techs checked out the unit, mentioned that there already was a hard start kit, said the problem was the "too old to replace compressor", invoiced me $175 for the service and quoted $12-24,000 for the replacement system. I watched a YouTube video, ordered the two capacitors ($75, Amazon) needed for my unit, and installed them in 20 minutes. Somehow, that fixed all the problems I was seeing. Hope they enjoy that $175, b/c they aren't getting any more money from me, ever.

The gentleman was a complete professional and took the time to explain everything. I would hire them again in a second and they will be my very first call next time. I'm very satisfied.

They offered a good price, communicated well with me and the township for permits, did great work and cleaned up the area before they left. Jeff is very helpful. 10 stars from me. The first time I called Hoffmann for a leaking from water main. Dane and Dan fixed it for $400, in two hours. They are the best price in 4 plumbing companies I called. The highest estimate of the 4 was $1800!!! I believe Hoffmann gives fair price and does great job. The 2nd time I called Hoffmann because I DIY replacing shutoff valve under the sink. Dane called me back asked what I was doing and what was the problem. After asking several questions, he finds out what I did wrong. He advised me to cut the pipe and connect the value again. It works fine. I don't know many plumbers give free advices! 5 stars again. I will definitely use Hoffmann in the future. I definitely recommend them to anyone!

I can't say enough about them. I had used this company to install a new hot water heater a few years ago, so decided to call them for my emergency. They have an off-hours answering service who picked up, took my details, and promised the plumbers would call me back immediately. And they did. Freddie called back right away, came out and took care of the problem. Price was very reasonable.

One of our toilets developed a significant rocking motion. We discovered that the toilet flange was broken in two places and the closet bolts were free on one side. A call was made to Hoffmann and Sons. The crew was able to respond the next day (non-emergency work). The old flange was original to the house, and was connected to a lead sweep pipe rather than cast iron. They were able to quickly procure the appropriate replacement flange and re-attach it to the floor and the lead pipe. Toilet was re-installed, the area cleaned and operation is back to normal! The crew worked very professionally and quickly, and could not have done a better job. The price was very reasonable and appropriate! We will continue using Hoffmann and Sons for all of our plumbing needs!

I hired Hoffman and Sons Plumbing of Raritan NJ to install an hot water heater overflow tank and do a gas line pressure test. Dane and Dan were great. Polite, professional and were very respectful of my home. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing, heating for cooling repairs/installs. I felt they were very honest and were accommodating with my schedule.

Matt & Dan stopped by to fix it. They cut out the old trap, tailpiece and basket strainer. Installed a new chrome basket strainer, brass dishwasher tailpiece and a 1-1/2" PVC trap. Everything went well.

Called around to different vendors from Angielists before settling on Hoffmann and Sons. Dane and Fedi came on time, I think even a little early. They removed the old water heater and installed a 40 gallon gas Bradford White heater with a pan. A new supply value was also installed and all the piping and gas connections were checked to make sure they were updated to code. The filing of the permit with the township was also included as part of the overall price. They also stopped by at no charge to re-pipe the master bathroom sink. There was a shared wall between the new water heater and the master bathroom.

Two guys came out and it took two hours. They left the area clean. I would use them again.

They're my plumber. I call them all the time. They're very good. They came out a couple times for some leaks we had. We had problems with my sump pump, and a leak in the ceiling. They solved both problems. They were punctual, got there on time, did the job and I think their pricing was fair. The price was $450 and that included the new sump pump.
