Description of Work: We had a problem with our Hot Water Heater and called Hoffmann and Sons. They scheduled an apt, arrived on time, diagnosed and repaired the issue. The employee was very polite and professional and wore booties to keep our floors clean.

Description of Work: MY HOME HAD A SEWAGE PIPE WITH A BELLY/ELBOW...IT WOULD FLOOD MY DOWNSTAIRS AND HAVE A ROTTEN EGG SMELL COME OUT OF MY DRAINS. JEFF CAME OUT GAVE US AN ESTIMATE AND EXPLAINED ALL THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND HOW HE WOULD EXECUTE THE WORK. HE AND HIS TEAM WERE |ALWAYS ON TIME AND PROFESSIONAL. MINIMAL DAMAGE AND GOOD CLEAN UP. Description of Work: We have had hoffman & sons out a few times and they are great! They came out to consult once on a leak (we think from our furnace). Another time, they installed our sink and faucet (and later to fix the faucet not because of anything they did). The biggest project was their installation of our new hot water heater. We've had different plumbers come each time and everyone has been super nice, responsive and professional. We highly recommend them!!! I've recommended them to friends who have been very happy with them too :)

Description of Work: We had gas shut off to part of our home due to leaking pipes. They were prompt and courteous, calling when they would be a short time later than expected and calling when they could move up our time. The job done was excellent and the cost was acceptable. We highly recommend them.

Description of Work: They did a wonderful job,neat professional,on time..the young man that came named Mathew may look 16 but has the knowledge and experience of someone doing plumbing for over 20 years.He was great and so was the young man who put the toilet back...good workers good company. Description of Work: Fixed 2 leaks in tub, one from the faucet and one in the pipe behind the shower head. He had everything he needed with him to replace the worn parts in the 40 year old faucet as well as the leaking pipe. |Also replaced a section of pipe leading to an outdoor faucet and checked and repaired that faucet.

Description of Work: Mat was on time and very pleasant. I thought I needed a valve replaced to supply water to my fridge, but after Mat investigated the issue he was able to save me money by just replacing the water hose to the fridge. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism and I would definitely use Hoffman and Sons in the future.

+ -1 moreThe service had been rendered by another plumber and within 6 months the same problem reappeared. When I had called them, they wouldn't recognize the work that they did. I called Hoffman and explained what was going on. He came right out and saw that some incorrect material were used so he fixed it and was done. He extended a discount that was very unexpected due the problem that the other company had caused me.

Description of Work: Appeared AC unit in house was freezing up. Could not get cool air. Called Schaibles, they sent someone at 8 am, and he was on time, the next day. Asked me lots of questions about what I was noticing. Answered a lot of questions that I had. Wasn't upset that I followed him around to ask questions. Added liquid to a/c, cleaned the unit, which hadn't been cleaned for 5 years. Kind, professional and informative man.

We have an old home and it's sometimes difficult to find companies that deal with steam heating system, since we have steam radiators. So, they were referred to us by a friend and they did good work. Their professionalism was good. I did have some problems with their punctuality. The quality of their work seemed very good, but I didn't get enough time to test it. I haven't compared their price with other companies.
Description of Work: We used the services of Schaible's Plumbing & Heating to switch from oil heating system to gas heating system. They put in a water softner and also did some work on our chimney.
