In March I purchased a Big Deal custom kitchen design services complete with measurements, floor plan design, cabinet design, tile design, lighting design and 3-D renderings for $125. They did send someone to my house to take measurements. We had a very specific conversation about exactly what I wanted in my new kitchen. Some renderings were sent a week later that reflected NOTHING we had discussed in person. It was as if we never spoke. There was also no email note, no estimates, no budget info ? all things I requested and was told I would receive. I immediately requested an explanation and was told it was the computer CAD operators ?fault? ? he didn?t agree with and didn?t want to follow the designer?s notes. I was informed revised, more appropriate plans would be sent within a ?few days?. I waited for nearly a month before emailing and asking when I would be receiving something. I got an immediate email saying the designer would be in touch that day. I emailed again six days later and someone finally called back and told me I had been sent revised drawings several days earlier via email. Not true. No spam issues, all their other emails and original renderings were received. Now these were not?? My requests for renderings continued for another two weeks and then I finally asked Angie?s List for a refund of this fiasco. That day I got an email from the design firm with two renderings of Two Different Corners of the Kitchen???? Useless! A complete waste of time and an endless frustration. Response to contractor's comments: Fix It All's response is completely false and is lacking respect for my intelligence. How could I possibly believe I was owed a "designer solely dedicated to my project for several days" when it took them SEVERAL WEEKS to respond to even the most basic request to get the design Mike and I agreed to initially. Mike and I met at my house and the designs he developed reflected nothing of our agreed to elements. Yes, I may have received three separate renderings but not one of them depicted what I requested in a kitchen and what Mike agreed to. It's as if they put my measurements into the computer and threw some cabinets on the wall. "Her indecision made the process difficult." I have never wavered for an instant about what I wanted or expected from the company, my design or this process. I find this an incredibly insulting comment.I am sorely disappointed in Angie's List and even more so by Fix It All. I can ill afford to waste money with nothing to show for it and I would be happy to send you or anyone else the ill-conceived designs I received. Some of them show only a corner of the kitchen?!?!?I felt by taking on this project with Angie's List I had some reassurance of a fair and trustworthy process. It's the same as any other contractor nightmare.

I called and set an appointment for April 4 for them to come out and do the esitmate since I had cedar shingles, which would cost extra. I received an email confirmation for the appointment. So April 4th comes up, 30 minutes before the appointment, they called and canceled with no explaination. They rescheduled for the 12th at 9 in the morning. The time passed, I called 9:15 a.m. and got their answering service. They could not tell me if anyone was coming out and said they would get back to me. And they never did.

The work was sloppy, they arrived later than scheduled, and they never returned to correct an issue with their work. Furthermore, although it was in fine print, they didn't mention in the estimate that the price was for labor only; not materials.

Fred the consultant was punctual and listened to what I wanted for remodeling the kitchen. He gave good advice and guidance on what would or wouldn't work in the space we have. He sent the proposed blueprints and 3-D drawings to me within a week. He also followed up with a phone call on a Saturday to make sure I received them and to see if I had any questions. We are going to move to the next stage, which is getting an estimate.

After receiving the plans and 3D renderings I contacted them about a price to actually have the work done. I was told they would contact me with a price the next Monday. They called me back and left a message. I called back two or three times and have heard nothing from them since.

I have called 3 times. Told them what I wanted done, I have given them my contact information. I have attempted to set up a time and they have not recorded my scheduled time twice.

I found the conversation with the representative interesting and useful, but the drawings were not very detailed. I could have used my imagination and came up with better ideas, so I really wasn't satisfied with the drawings. I don't feel like it helped me to get a sense of color or any other details. The representative gave me some ideas and I liked that part of the experience.

Big waste of time. Thought for a Haddonfield address we'd get better service.

I purchased a big deal coupon from this contractor. The contractor explained that the first appointment was for the estimate. I made an appointment and nobody showed up or called. I called up and they saw my name on the schedule with no time listed. They insured me that somebody would be out for the next appointment at 9am. On the next appointment, the contractor called and said he was delayed in Philadelphia. I said no problem but requested he come later in the morning because I had to work the next day. He agreed and called again to say he was on his way around 12:20 pm that day. He later called at 1 pm and said he went to the wrong address and that he would give me an estimate over the phone. I spent 1 1/2 days waiting for this contractor to come to my home when they could have given me an estimate over the phone, or so he says. This was a complete waste of time. My advice is NOT to purchase a big deal coupon or request an estimate from this contractor.

They were very nice guys. Always polite and willing to help. Unfortunately, because of an Angie's list deal, they are overcommitted and don't have as much time for their customers. As a consequence, they are straight up terrible at returning phone calls and at showing up on time. They did work hard when they were there, but their work was not great. I will be redoing parts of it myself when I have time. Overall, I would not recommend them.

I guess it did not go well. Or else I expected more than what was being offered. I could have come up with those plans for free!

Early in December I purchased a Big Deal coupon for a Custom Bathroom Design with Measurements and a Full Set of Plans. A $400 value for just $50.00.After I purchased the coupon I called the company. They literally had no idea about what was offered or how the offer would work. They finally sent somebody to my house, again with not much idea of what he needed to do. He gave me some ideas on how I could remodel the bathroom, took some measurements and said I would get the design and plan with measurements the following week. I have not heard back from them since. I have called the company several times, but can't go beyond the person answering the call who says a Tech person would be calling me back, but nobody have called. I called Angie's list to cancel and get a full refund. Update: I just saw the response from the company. Not true, have never received any plans, any follow up calls, NADA! They say they do not understand what the complain is. In simple words, I paid them for a service and I never received it and now I have to add they are lying about the whole matter. It is better to say that you drop the ball and apologize than blaming the customer. Disappointing!

The over all experiance was very good. Every individual with whom I met on this project was pleasant, professional and punctual. Mike and I met to discuss the project in order for him to provide an estimate, he was very knowledgeable and provided important information about the measurements and products I would need to complete the project. All of my questions were answered. Rodney & Mike came out to review the project before getting started. Joe, who did most of the work on both bathrooms, arrived on time everyday. We went over what was to be accomplished each day and we communicated by cell phone if there were any questions. He was great. I am very pleased with the completed project and am greatful to have had such pleasant and professional people with whom to work as this is a stressful experience. I would not hesitate to hire the Fix It All organization for other projects.

I scheduled the appointment with them and they did not show up on time. When I called them, they said they did not have me on the schedule. They then called me 45 minutes after the appointed time and they said that the person who was to come out had an emergency. When I intially made the appointment, I told them very specifically to call me if there was any delay.

It was pretty easy for me. I enjoyed working with them and the estimator.

I found them on google and set up an estimate. It went great! They were in and out within a matter of days and kept it clean. Everything looks great.

They did a fine job. The shower is exactly as expected.

We were happy with the work that was performed. Mike and Rodney came out to give us pricing and the scope of the job and they had some suggestions that we took. Rodney and his guy(s) worked hard and were very conscientious. Rodney even came on a Sunday to do some work because he couldn't come on a Saturday when his truck broke down. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them.

It went well. I liked that the estimate was accurate. They were punctual. They showed up when they were suppose to. The work done was very clean and well done. I thought the pricing was reasonable.

He gave me a price of $400.00. The job they did took 20 minutes. I did not know the job was going to take only 20 minutes. You should be very careful how you deal with him as far as his charges are concerned.

The company was unresponsive. I was really looking forward to using the services. I am extremely disappointed. I was never able to actually talk to a person other than the receptionist.

I saw the Big Deal they were offering and wanted them to come out so I scheduled an appointment for this morning, and I explained what I needed to do. My basement is completely refinished, we have tile floors and a drop ceiling that are all in great shape. We have a leak problem down there that needs to be fixed, we scheduled a waterproofing appointment and they told us they needed to take out the bottom three to four feet of sheet rock, about 135 linear feet that the waterproofing company was going to cut out and they would also need to jackhammer the tile in the basement around the perimeter of the basement. So, we needed the bottom half, 135 linear feet of sheet rock replaced and replacement of the tile work after the jackhammer. I assumed because it was less than 200 sq feet it would be a lower price than the Big Deal. He said way the basement is situated it would cost 31,000 dollars for the project as it was described in the Bid Deal. He said I could get the materials myself and they could do the work for 16,000 dollars. I then informed him as I was escorting him out my my house, that the basement waterproof service provider gave me a quote of less than 8000 dollars for the project. His comment was stating that they were overcharging you for waterproofing and that's how they could afford to charge me less for doing the sheet rock.

I got estimates from several companies, I liked them because the estimator was knowledgeable and came up with some great ideas but wasn't pushy. I read reviews and chose to work with them. They pulled all the permits and once everything was approved they started the project. They kept the job site very clean. Everyone was friendly. I like their guarantee on the work. Everything is top notch. They took my unusable, unfinished block basement and made it the man cave I needed!

We trying to fix our house up before we sell it, and this company has been great with the work they're doing for us. They've gone above an beyond what other companies had done. We have a hole in our bathroom wall from when I tried to find a plumbing issue myself. They were the only ones who got down on their knees and crawl up in the hole through dust and cobwebs to try to diagnose the issue. They have also been very willing to work with me financially, as I only pay in cash. They also have one of the cleanest worksites I've ever seen. There's never any debris laying around my home, and there was only one cleanliness issue I had with them, but once I confronted them about it, it never happened again. If I confront them about any issues I see, they remedy the situation immediately!

They didn't do everything but they did the finishing touches to it. They are very conscientious, cordial, prompt, efficient and clean. I will consider using them again in the future.
