Brett Pearson the owner of the company was very responsive to our initial call for an estimate, when hired he came and did the job professionally and as promised. He was always on the job and the workmanship was excellent.

The lawn service was always done promptly and well. Trimming was not quite as comprehensive as I might have liked, but it was still more than adequate. What I particularly liked was that while the arrangement was for weekly mowing, if there had been no rain, and minimal lawn growth, they would wait until there had been enough growth to warrant mowing, rather than doing the job when it wasn't needed.

They did an excellent job. All in all, it was a very positive experience and it is a company I would highly recommend. The deck repair cost about $800 or something like that and there were a couple of other mechanical things. The landscaping was more than that because they had materials and shrubs to buy and whatever.

Once I contacted the principal of Emerald Green and explained what I was looking for I started to get a bit concerned as time seemed to go by without hearing from him. This may have been all me as pressure to get everything prepared to put the house on the market was piling up and I was juggling hiring multiple tradesmen. Once he returned with a price and we agreed, this job went as smoothly as could be imagined. He is a quiet gentlemen. Seems like all business ... and he gets it done nicely.

From start to finish this project went extremely well. The business owner Brett is great to work with and he does an outstanding job. He also designed the layout of the replacement plantings. He also has a unique ability for a contractor - when he gives an estimate he sticks to it, previous folks we have had doing this type of work for us give an estimate and then load it up with extra for gas etc. so it is refreshing to know exactly how much a job is going to cost ahead of time. We liked him and his work so much that we now have a standing maintenance arrangement with him and will be calling on him again for future projects.

They are doing a good job. The guy who runs it was very responsive to my call. He gave me an estimate promptly and he has done a good job on the actual mowing. He shows up on time.

Needed to find a new landscaper, found 8 listings that were "local" within 20 miles. Called most of them but Emerald Green returned the call and scheduled the estimate within 24 hours. Very responsive, attentive, knowledgeable and the workmanship was and continues to be excellent.

Brett was very responsive. He stopped by my property and gave a quote within 24 hours of my request. He was able to schedule the service the same week. The yard looked great.

We found Brett Pearson and his brother Glenn by chance. ;They were launching out on their own and were somewhat new in the entrepreneur arena. ;They were delightful to deal with, and although they were just starting their own business enterprise they brought with them a lot of very valuable experience from their previous employers. They know trees, landscapes, contours, machinery and equipment of all sorts, design, project planning, and solid customer service. We thought their work on the retaining wall, etc. was excellent. However, with the work in the ravine, I felt they didn't try quite as hard as they had with the first project they did. They were satisfactory, rather than excellent, and I felt they tried to finish the job quickly rather than complete it to the quality we had previously come to expect from them. I sold have raised the issue with thewhiny mistake, but decided that i probably wouldn't use them again. They had priced me for 4 people for one or two days, but we didn't get that much work out of them, and didn't get a refund. However, Brett is very experienced in tree work, and we are very pleased with the work he does, and I was delighted, subsequently, (February 2012) when he came round and cut down a tree branch that had been damaged in the October storm. Emerald Green does landscaping work, lawn cutting etc. and I don't know their quality as I haven't used them for that. Brett and Glenn are very personable and keen to please and I should probably have challenged them to complete the work to the level I had expected. I guess I am recommending them but suggesting that anyone who wants to use their services keeps an eye on their work to see if they finished it to your satisfaction.
