Brett was very communicative throughout the process. It took a bit longer than I had hoped to get him to my house, but he was attempting to consolidate several of his jobs in my area into a single day. I was not there when the work was performed, but it was generally well done. Leaves were raked, shurbs and hedges were trimmed and all yard waste was removed from the property. They did miss one area on the side of my driveway, but Brett agreed to come back and once they did, I was completely satisfied.

Since we were late in the season there were a lot of leaves. It went very well and we plan to use them again next year.

The job went very well from start to finish. This was an Angie's List deal of 4 man-hours for $199. Due to the good response to the Angie's List offer, Brett had to schedule the job a few weeks out. He contacted me in a timely manner, and showed up as promised, on time and prepared. A week or so before Emerald Green Landscape arrived, it had snowed and we had a spell of cold weather, so the leaves were wet and matted down. Plus, a large part of the yard is covered with pachysandra. They did an excellent job of overcoming these obstacles and left the place in tip top shape. They also cut down a small tree that was storm damaged, cut the wood into firewood and stacked it -- this was beyond the scope of the job. I am extremely pleased and would recommend Brett Pearson and Emerald Green Landscaping without reservation.

They did a wonderful job when they were told exactly what areas needed to be cleaned. I did ask for a quote on another job I had for them but now 10 days later they have not gotten back to me.

Excellent work. Brett brought in a team of hard workers and they went right to work. I made some changes in the middle and there was not a whimper or any delay in switching gears.

I contacted Emerarld Green landscaping and explained to Brett that I would like the 4 hours to be spent on leaf cleanup. I dont have that big of a front yard and in the past I could do the front and most of the back in 4 hours. Their crew come out on a Saturday to complete the work but I wasnt home that weekend. When I returned on Sunday I was surprised to see that they only completed 3/4 of the front yard and left the leaves piled up in the yard. I called Brett and it sounded like he was going to send his crew back out to finish up the front. Well a week past and no crew showed up and by now the leaves that were in a pile had scattered across the yard. So this past Saturday I spent about 4 hours of redoing the front and did most of the backyard. So that was $200 wasted.

Well, I scheduled well in advance fr 8:30 on the Tuesday morning. At 10:00 I called because nobody had called or shown up and I had to leave for work. I was asked if I still wanted someone to come out because it was cold and it had rained the day before. I said "yes" and I was told two guys would be there in about a half hour. 45 minutes later a truck pulled up in front of my house and two guys sat there until 11 when they got out and told me they had the wrong street number and were not sure which house to go to. Well, they were very nice and I told them exactly what I wanted done. When I had to leave for work, I told them the existing leaves on the grass did not have to be done if they ran out of time because I could pick ten up with my lawn mower. I came home after dark and the next day was very excited to look at my back yard leaf free. The perimeter of the yard where the beds were was mostly leaf free, but what they did was blow all the leaves from the back yard onto the grass, leaving leaves as much as a foot deep in places which was way too much for my little lawnmower to handle. I tried calling Brett and left him a message telling him my concerns. Later in the afternoon my husband and I decided to tackle the daunting job of removing all the leaves. After about two hours, we got the grass totally free of leaves and made a huge pile of leaves in the back corner of the yard and in addition took out 10 bags of leaves to the curb. Brett did call me back and when he heard what happened was very apologetic and volunteered to come back out. I told him it would be very nice if they would like to haul off all the leaves we had gathered. He said he would be by Saturday. On Saturday they showed up just as I was leaving the house and I was very pleased....until I came home! They very kindly had decided to not only haul off the huge pile of leaves that I had created from the wrk I had done, but they decided they did not get all the leaves in the flower beds the previous time so they would get them this time. So, they blew all the remaining leaves onto the grass which at that point had not even one leaf on it, and left me a yard full of leaves to get rid of - again! So back to the yard I went to mow and rake the leaves up, and in some spots they were taller than the front of the lawnmower so I had the problem again of picking them up. So, are they nice? Absolutely. Were they willing to come back at no charge to fix up their mess? Absolutely. Did they fix the problem? Well, partially by removing all the gahered leaves in the back, but in the interim, they recreated the first problem. I feel bad not giving them rave reviews because Brett and the other two workers seemed genuinely nice. But three hours of leaf raking after paying $199 to have it done just does not make me want to give them rave reviews.

My phones weren't working so I don't know how long before he contacted me but even with phone problems it wasn't more than a week. He came when he said he would both to look at the job and to do it. He came to look on Thurs. and did it on Tues. Although I paid for one person/4 hours he had a helper and still gave me the allotted time, WIhen he was looking at the yard I told him if I liked his work i would call him back for work I needed in the front, and when they left both front and back were done. I had planted some sunflowers and put newspaper down before the mulch, he asked before taking them down even though they were clearly done for the season and not only did the newspapers go down to help keep weeds at bay for next year, the mulch was replaced neatly.Some garbage had accumulated, too, containers I use for weeding and carrying water. I told him not to worry about them but he put them all together in a neat pile. There wasn't a scrap of debris left when they were gone. He knew the difference between weeds and perennials and left what he should. It was wonderful to see the yard again, but the astilbe I had planted years ago are still going strong. I have not one negative comment.

Brett came to the house and we did a walk thru of the backyard and what needed to be done. He was very helpful in making suggestions on how to care for various plants/hedges and about adding addditional privacy trees in the future. He and his team came out (I was not home) and did a great job of cleaning up the yard. Definitely got our money's worth and will be using Brett again in the Spring!

They did my spring clean-up. It was two kids and they were very nice.

I really hate to give bad reviews to businesses, especially when other Angie's List customers gave the thumbs up, but I placed two calls and never got called back. I'm going to take it as he's so good that his business is booming and doesn't have time for more customers.

He never showed up or called.

Brett was able to remove three trees/shrubs from the front of house without effort, trim my lavender bush to the proper height for healthy regrowth, plant mutliple hostas, ferns, transplant wisteria and a peonies to another location, weed what seemed to be mountains of weeds, lay down cloth in designated sites to prevent regrowth, go for organic mulch to complement what I had purchased, plant and then relocate a new rose bush when the first spot did not "look right", and provide a guarantee for his work! I felt safe with the entire crew under Brett's direction. They worked non-stop until a full 8 hours of working was complete. I did not hear any whining, complaining, or dodging about adding techniques that I preferred which were more labor intensive. I am pleased with their work. My next door neighbors were excited about the skill level displayed and I introduced/shared Brett for estimates at their property which is much larger than mine. I look forward to a long collaboration with Brett and his company. It is well worth it!

They installed a patio for me. They did a good job. They were nice and friendly. They got the work done in a timely manner.

I have to start by saying that Brett is one of the nicest people I have ever had the opportunity to work with. When I first started thinking about the job, I reached out to 3 separate companies, Brett was the one that always arrived when he said he would, had the better ideas of how to manage the work, made great suggestions on ways to improve the design, and came in very competitively priced. As the job evolved so did my thought process with changes to scope that I had never thought of, I found that Brett was very accommodating and flexible to change without issue. The stonework all looks great - great job We have used Brett and his company several times since for other jobs, and will continue to do so. Happy to recommend him.

Allowing that he is a very busy landscaper, we were patiently waiting to schedule the work. When he called to say he would be here yesterday, we were pleasantly surprised it would be so soon. However, he never came. We stayed home, waiting. No call, no response to voicemail. Update, 7/3: still no word from the provider.

We've been using several contractors for different job and Brett Pearson is the best ever contractor. We got 3 estimates from different company and Brett's price was fair, reasonable and within our budget. Brett and his crew worked very hard the minute they arrived and completed the job sooner than it was expected. We were very happy and please with his work and would highly recommend him to others.

Brett was thorough, efficient and detailed. When he arrived for the estimate, he listened to everything I wanted done, and sent a detailed estimate including some suggested shrubs for the areas I wanted. I had gotten 4 different estimates and was by far the most reasonable for everything I wanted done, and enabled me to do more than I had originally planned. My neighbors asked who my landscaper was and I got him a couple of referrals the very next day! I felt compelled to tip him a little extra, as the work was good quality and affordable. Will definitely contract him for future services!

When Brett came to do the estimate he listened to what I want done in the landscape so he gave some suggestions and discussed his plans. His estimate price for the job is quite reasonable . I got 3 estimates from different comp. and Brett's plan was most comprehensive for my need and budget. After a couple of phone calls,the job was scheduled .Brett and his crew came on a windy, cold day but worked very hard until they run out of materials. Next day, was raining the whole day and I wasn't expecting them to come to finish the job but Brett came alone and finished the rest of the river stone bed and the drainage pipe area. All in all the workmanship is impressive esp. the drainage area. He delivered all as planned. I'm a satisfied customer and I'll recommend this hard working ,professional.

Brett has been cutting the lawn for my mother during the summer. She asked if he did other things and mentioned the need for a new sidewalk around the house. He gave an estimate which was a middle one of the four received. It became an urgent project when my mother fell and broke her arm. We called and arranged for him to start ASAP. He responded quickly, prepped the area, removed the old slate slabs, and poured the walks within two weeks. Weather and other jobs caused only slight delays. We were very satisfied with his attention to the job, quick response to additional requests to do still another little job. He was our go-to guy for so many things while my mother was in rehab. When she came home it was like a different house. There have been many comments about the walkways, how they look, and how well they were installed. The floodlights now make it safe to come to the house at night and get from the car into the house. The new downspout and drainpipes have solved a persistent wet basement issue that has plagued this house for many years.

Brett was on time & very courteous & efficient. Work was done to my satisfaction despite rainy conditions.
