They were superb, professional, prompt and the price was good.

They did very good quality of work, they were punctual and worked in a timely manner.

We were experiencing leakage from the valve that connected the water supply to our upstairs washing machine. This was running down the inside of the wall and through the living room ceiling. We called Ruffcut on a Thursday and arranged for them to visit the following Monday. They arrived during the window of time they promised, inspected the damage and agreed that the valve was probably the source of the problem. Ruffcut did not want to open the wall and ceiling unncessarily so they only replaced the old valve with a new one, and told us to keep an eye on things in case that did not solve the problem. We were pleased with Ruffcut's ability to schedule us quickly for a relatively small job, perform is quickly, for a reasonable price. They also did not do any work that was not required, advising us to replace only the valve first before undertaking more drastic steps, such as opening the wall and ceiling.

We have always had a good experience. Quotes are fair and accurate, as are final bills. Since Ruffcut is located in our town of Glen Rock, there is a real feeling of accountability since they have a local reputation that they work hard to maintain.

Called them, described my problems and they came over immediately on a day that was convenient for me. Arrived right on time. Fixed leaky bathtub, slow draining sink and shower, running toilet,leaking outside faucet. All small jobs but annoying problems. They got everything done quickly, cleaned up and were out promptly. The guys also made it a point to note my household plumbing is very old/original to the house so they were careful not to create bigger problems by fixing a small one. I would hire them again for a small jobs or complete kitchen/bath re-do.

Fast, friendly and efficient. The only snafu was that the caulking securing the top of the pedestal started to drip after they left but they quickly and apologetically immediately sent somebody the next day to rectify the situation. Would recommend and use again.

They came on time and did the job at a good price. We referred them to my sister and they did the same thing for her too. They had come out when they said they would and did what they said they were going to do. We never had a problem with them.

It went as smoothly as something like this can go. I detected the big basement puddle and the leak in my water heater about 10 o'clock in the morning, got the plumber's name off Angie's List, and made the call immediately. The owner came on, asked some questions, gave me a price over the phone, and asked when I wanted the work done. I said, "Twenty minutes ago when I discovered the problem would have been great." He laughed, and had two men at my door shortly after lunch. They were friendly, polite, efficient very professional, and accompanied by a Bradford-White water heater of the right size (this plumber makes a point of using American-made products). The work was done and they were gone in a couple of hours, taking the defunct heater with them, and everything was back to normal by three in the afternoon. The bill arrived in the mail at the end of the month, for exactly the amount quoted. I cannot imagine a plumbing emergency being handled more smoothly and satisfactorily. I expect that this will be our plumber from now on.

Smooth. Came on time. Everything works properly. Other plumbers wanted to expand their work while Rufcutt kept to the point - efficiently. Great job.

Ruffcut answered the phone on the first call and scheduled the repair for the next day. The plumber came within the allotted time window and completed the job within a little over an hour. The plumber complained about the accessibility of the pipes he needed to access, and he called for an assistant when I could have helped him; the assistant merely held the pipe in place from the outside while the plumber soldered a joint inside the house. I was a bit surprised at the cost, but I should have gotten an estimate first. I probably would use Ruffcut again, but would get an estimate in advance.

Because I believe in giving the good with the bad...he showed up to take down my 'laundry list' of items on the date and time promised. I had to call for the quote. The quote was reasonable as compared to others, a bit higher in some instances, but it all came out in the wash. I had to call 4 times from when I called to say I wanted to schedule the work, just to be shot down with the comment that he preferred to keep existing customers happy, rather than taking my job! Oh well...

A person answered the phone when I called and scheduled an appointment, which was very exciting. I called the place when the workers were about an hour late and was given a time frame in which they would show up. They came slightly after that and were very quick, professional, friendly and tidy. It was a very positive experience and a great price.

They answered my call right away (someone actually answers the phone) and sent someone out for the first job that day. The first tech gave me advice about the bathroom faucet so I purchased a faucet at Lowe's and called them to install it. Both techs were great-polite, efficient, neat. The only thing that might have been better would be an actual dollar amount for the work up front--though I have to say, when asked, they said that the toilet wouldn't be "more than $100" and the faucet wouldn't be "more than $200"--which is exactly what I was billed--98.44 and 197.95 respectively. Great company-wouldn't hesitate to call them again or recommend to friends.

I called the day before and spoke to the owner Harold and explained what I needed. We spoke about everything and said he could have someone here the next morning. They called and said they were running late, which was very nice. The tech Bill came, an HONEST and PLEASANT plumber. We spoke about different options and he was truthful and knowledgeable. This company is about helping you out, not ripping you off. He was here for a little over a hour and fixed the drain for under $150. I will hire them AGAIN!!!

Fantastic experience. Company is consistently fair and honest. Sump installation was roughly half the cost of an "emergency" plumber local to our area. Always on time for service calls. Company does not gouge customers for unnecessary work. If work is not recommended, company states so. My highest recommendation. If only all trades were this fair.

We have been using them for years and there have never been any problems. They are a great company to do business with and besides that the experience is always wonderful. I would recommend them to other people any time.

Ruffcut came in after I had two bad experiences with other plumbers. My shower pan leaked and instead of telling me I had to tear everything out and start over, Harold recommended I begin with the much less drastic and more inexpensive option of coating the shower with sealant. It ended up working and saving me a world of money and trouble. He also removed an unnecessary part a previous plumber had installed (simply in order to unload the part on me), which solved the problem of a tepid bath. They are honest and fairly priced. I highly recommend them.

I HAD CONTACTED THIS COMPANY DUE TO A RECOMMENDATION FROM A CO-WORKER. I CALLED THEM AND THEY CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY. THEY GAVE ME A FREE ESTIMATE. THE WHOLE JOB TOOK ONLY A FEW HOURS, BUT THE CLEAN UP COULD HAVE BEEN MORE THOROUGH.
