Description of Work: Jim came out to discuss the project at hand and after much discussion we decided on a change in the scope of the project. Although, we are not using his services right now we would not hesitate to use his services in the future. He was on time, very professional and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: New construction windows, siding, gutters, garage door. Everything from start to finish was smooth sailing. Jamar wasn't the lowest estimate we received, but you get what you pay for and Jamar certainly earned their money and then some. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: Jamar installed 6 American Jewel windows for us on our second floor. This was the first in a few sets of replacements we will do in the house. After seeing the professionalism and skill of the team we will happily use Jamar moving forward.

Description of Work: Completely resided my home and rebuild my front porch. This is the second time I use Jamar services over the last 10 years. Each time Jim, his son Greg and his helpers did an outstanding job. They cleaned up everything as well. They were prompt and worked until they were done. | |My previous job was residing of my garage and all new windows and doors in my house which was done expertly. |Jamar is not the cheapest but certainly the quality is worth the little extra cost. |

Description of Work: Repaired a broken Anderson window. Showed up on time. Returned with the part (called a sash) and installed it the same day. It was one side of a large double casement window. My insurance company had estimated that it would cost over $1,200 to remove and replace the entire double window. The contractor was able to repair it to like new condition for $487. It just wasn't necessary to replace the whole thing. It was repaired perfectly. No BS trying to sell me a whole new $1,200 window or anything like that. I have to say it's a respectable company that will do that kind of work. I would call again if I needed windows repaired, or wanted to upgrade old windows. I was more than happy to pay the $487 bill for this repair.

Description of Work: I did not use them YET because we had some issues come up causing us to put our project on hold. I contacted them and they got back to me right away, came to my home within a couple of days and gave us a great estimate on a couple of replacement windows. They gave us detailed information, were very professional and we felt like we could trust them and that they knew exactly what they were talking about. We received a formal written estimate within 5 days just like they said. I will be calling them back to do the work in the near future.

Description of Work: The 7 windows and deck door in my condo do not do a good job of keeping out the cold, some of them are hard to open, and cleaning is also difficult. I contacted a few window replacement companies and Jamar Windows & Siding was one of them. They came to my house, measured all my windows and deck door and provided me with a reasonable estimate. After the initial estimate, I found out from the Historical Preservation Commission in my city that I could only use all wood windows. I notified the company of this change and they promptly sent me an updated estimate for a few different manufacturers' products that would meet the all wood requirement. As it turns out, there were additional hurdles that needed to be addressed with the Commission, and those delays have prevented me from actually replacing my windows. Once those issues finally get resolved, however, I would definitely consider using Jamar to do the job.

Description of Work: Replacement windows, very well made, expertly installed. They kept everything neat and clean and left the house broom swept. This is a VERY reputable and professional company and I recommend them highly and without hesitation.

Description of Work: We had 4 sets of windows replaced. In our family room (cathedral ceiling) we have an 8 window composite, our living room has a new picture window with side casements, our playroom received a 3 pane casement, and finally, our dining room had a double hung which was closed off and replaced with a fixed pane of glass 12" x 72" installed with a new header positioned high on the wall - this window also required vinyl siding repair/replacement to accommodate the new configuration. All the windows were expertly trimmed, inside and out. The work was completed over 2.5 working days.

Description of Work: Jamar Construction installed vinyl siding on the outside of my 4 bedroom and 3 bathroom house. It took them about 2.5 days and they cleaned everything up afterwards.

Description of Work: They took out the old casement window and installed a brand new one. This was custom, made to order window. The window was insulated and the service took 2 hours to install. All used material and garbage was taken away by the contractor.
