Description of Work: Cecil came out to meet with me based on my schedule. He gave me a fair estimate based on what we needed... He came back 5 days later for the install of two new garage doors and openers. They were very professional and pleasant to work with! And most importantly the garage looks beautiful!!!! Definitely would recommend them to everyone!

Description of Work: My garage door stopped closing so I called HWGD, the individual arrived and asked me to close the door. Within 2 minutes he fixed the susupension wires and oiled the tracks. Total time spent on the job was 10 minutes and the door works fine. I thought the charge would be around $50-60 but $91 was a bit pricey for 10 minutes of easy work.

Description of Work: I needed a new spring for our garage door. I called on Friday afternoon and they were able to schedule an appointment for the next day at 8:30am. The technician arrived on time and was professional. I liked that they didn't try to sell me anything extra. They knew I just needed a new spring. I will hire them again.

The owner and his son ate dinner and then drove to another county in New Jersey to help me. They fixed my garage, oiled the tracks quickly and effectively. They also suggested I consider adding an additional inexpensive part to my existing system to safeguard against future problems with my door. They were kind, professional and helpful.

+ -1 moreCalled them on a Thursday to get an estimate on putting openers on the garage doors of our new house. They said they could be out fairly quickly, and I jokingly said, how about tomorrow? After a slight pause, they said yes. They told me the price for their recommended opener, a belt drive unit, and explained why belt drive is preferred. When I wasn't sure of door height, they said that they'd swing by and measure, and they did that later in the day Thursday. They also explained that the higher doors would be $25 each more, otherwise no difference. On Friday, they called to tell me the installer was on his way late in the morning, and he arrived shortly after. He walked us through what he was going to do and told us that he'd call us when he was ready to walk us through use. When he called us out to show us how to use the openers, there was no sign he'd been there other than the openers mounted to the ceiling. He gave a good walkthrough of the units' functions, explained we could do the third door at any time, we paid him, and that was it. Polite, good work, no baloney. That's professional.
