Rick is very nice. Easy to schedule and performs work in a polite and efficient manner.

I was impressed with hard work all his employees did they were on time and accomplished the job in a timely manner,extreamly polite and accomadateing, the cost was within my budget,will use them again

I contacted the vendor twice though the website. No one got back to me.

They were punctual and the price wasn’t wonderful, but it was probably reasonable.

The 2 men showed up at 10:30 am (right on time) and worked constantly until 4:30 pm with just a short break for lunch. Cleaned up when they were done - I am very happy!

The crew arrived 45 minutes late, but made quick work of emptying the debris. They swept up any spills and folded up my dumpster bags. This is the third time I have used their service and have been happy each time.

They arrived actually an hour earlier but I received a phone call first asking if that was ok. Was given an estimate before any work was started. I found the price a bit high but I needed the stuff removed asap. 3men crew picked everything up quickly and left my yard looking clean.

I was impressed. They guys came and I showed them what I wanted junked. They called their office and then the office called me with the quote. It was a very fair price (much more reasonable than the 1-800 people in my experience). They brought a 20 yard dumpster in and went to it. A few hours later (of continuous hard work), they were done. After they left, I went into the garage, which had been previously filled with leaves, dirt, dust, and filled with junk and ran the broom. If you've every broomed a garage, you know how much dust and dirt collects (often you need a shovel to pick up the pile). After Rick's crew was gone, I couldn't even fill a dust pan.

Everything went extremely well. The young lady that answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. She set a date agreeable to both of us, phoned prior to the arrival of the truck, and even called me to let me know the best form of payment for the transaction. The men who hauled the t.v. were punctual, friendly, and efficient. I have every intention of calling them again when I need this sort of service.

They explained the cost and length of time I had to fill the dumpster. I needed ore time and they were very understanding. The additional monies I paid for the extra week were worth it since I was filling it myself. They have been very responsive and professional. I can't recommend them enough. Definitely use them in the future.

I saved money as most of the work keeping large contractor's garbage bags ready was already done by us.

They did not charge extra for the pool table and did a great job. The basement was clean when they left.

Very well. Sofa bed is heavy but two very nice guys got the job done. I'm on the second floor so I know it wasn't going to be an easy job. The were very courteous and professional.

I mentioned I needed a 15yd container service, and I saw a coupon here on Angie's List. They gladly accepted the coupon with no issues. The price I list is for Hudson county, BEFORE the coupon. See the pricing per county on their web page. Even though Hudson was more expensive than their home county, they were cheaper than all other container services. The kind woman who answered the phone also let me know what could or could not go into the bin, and what the weight limit was. It's normal for overweight bins to be charged an extra per ton fee. Every company does this. I thought I'd be over with all the stuff I put in the bin, but I was 1/2 ton under the limit. So they got the bin back, called to tell me the final price and only then did they charge my credit card after getting my permission. Very professional. Very skilled driver who fit the bin in my driveway between my house and the neighbors. I'll admit his English sounded more Russian than anything, but that didn't matter. He was pleasant. I'll certainly use Rick's Cleanouts again, as there were no surprises... just good service and good price.

A crew came by to give us an estimate the day after I called. I appreciated the quick response. We negotiated a very reasonable price. The work was done immediately. Before we knew it a second truck and more men arrived. The work was completed very quickly. The items that we requested to remain were moved to their new location as we instructed. Every room was broom clean. Wonderful job!

Great. They put the dumpster where I asked them to and on wood planks that I supplied and left in the driveway. They picked up the dumpster on time as well.

Ordered a 10 yard dumpster to be dropped in my driveway on a Friday and picked up the following Monday. Dumpster arrived exactly the time they said it would. I have a narrow driveway and people park on both sides of the street outside of it but the driver had no problem getting it in. Wasn't picked up on Monday but when I called they were very apologetic and said it would be picked up the next morning .. which they did. It actually worked out better because it gave me a chance to throw more stuff in. They were very good in explaining on the phone the costs and charges if you go over a certain weight, and what was excluded from throwing in the dumpster. I've used Rick's before (about 8 years ago) and was very satisfied then also. I just have to point out one thing about the Angie's list coupon they have here. I didn't mention it when I called because the coupon is a print out one and I figured you give it to the driver when he arrives. But when I called back they told me you have to mention it when you make the appointment because they charge your credit card right away. The price was pretty good to start so I didn't put up a stink but if you use their service, make sure to mention the coupon when you call.

Didnt use the service, fees were too expensive

a) Two people from Rick's Cleanouts in with a van, and take a look at a player piano. They talk to their office and quote me a price of $250 (Rick's says they don't quote until they see the job). I specifically tell them to be careful with the floor. b) I am working in another room as they proceed. I then go in to check and the piano has been moved halfway through the living room. In its trail are indentations in my floor. I took pictures and these are indentations where the small metal wheels of the piano traveled. c) The men did not have trolleys or even think moving pads and blankets. All they had was a flimsy bedsheet on which they moved the piano. After I complained, they called in another team that had trolleys and moving pads. The piano was out in 5 minutes after that. I am really disappointed by their inability to do the job properly. If they did not have the proper equipment, they should have said no, or that they would come back with the trolleys and pads. If they needed more men, they should have said the same. They knew how big the piano was. If they needed to charge more, they should have said it. This is supposed to be their expertise. We all work hard and expect our homes to be treated with respect and care; this is why it's so disappointing, because that approach clearly was not there.

they did a great job. Yard was left clean.They gave me same day service.

They were great - the only thing I could complain about is when I was trying to set up the original drop off, and they said they would call back in a few minutes and I didn't get a call back until the next day. But they were apologetic and it didn't really bother me in the end.

Working with Rick's was quick and easy! My wife called to make the appointment and the dumpster was on our driveway a few days later. Wife and I spent the afternoon filling it up with all the trash building up in our garage (ripped up carpet, tile, etc..). The next morning, a Saturday, they came and took it away without waking us up. Couldn't have been easier. Just wish it was cheaper (though they do seem to be charging the going rate). Would use again!

Very large cleanout job. Rick showed up on time for the estimate and the job itself. The job involved multiple trucks and dumpsters, 8 men plus Rick and was scheduled to last 3 days. The job was completed in 2 days. They started with the garage, then went to the basement, both areas packed to the ceilings with junk. They proceded through the rest of the house, bagging clothes , removing old furniture, separating metal and paper,cardboard etc. Almost everything would be recycled or donated. Any documents or paperwork that was found while the cleanout job was going on was brought to my attention. Any family heirlooms or items that we wanted to keep were put away for us. They were very efficient. Great job!
