Description of Work: I can not say enough good things about Joe and Elite Surfaces. He was helpful, fair priced, and did wonderful work. Would definitely recommend and use this company again!

The owner came out and spoke to me about the project and what is expected. they covered the areas very well so no dust would spread around the house. | |Day 1 - sanded and applied 1 coat of poly |Dad 2 - came early and applied 2nd coat of poly |Day 3 - came early and applied 3rd coat of poly | |Didn't see the owner or anyone after that. I guess that would be nice if they would have come to check the final product but I guess they know it was good enough on the third day. | |Floor looks awesome!

Description of Work: Good people only they were higher priced and offered less, then the local company who included repair work on some areas of the floor- replacing damaged wood. The local company offered to help move the furniture in and out whereas this company had a charge of $100. (it would only have taken 15 minutes at most to move the furniture..) I did not use this company and received a credit for the big deal I purchased.

Description of Work: The Angie's List advertisement did not state you needed to purchase a minimum of $600 in order to use the $99 coupon but I needed the work done and chose to pay the additional money so they can complete 2 rooms. They had to come 3 consecutive days to complete the work and showed up one day at 6:45 am...unacceptable. The quality of the work was not as glossy as my original floors and explained that to the owner when he called for the additional payment. He was very nice and schedule to come back and add another gloss which did not improve it at all.

Description of Work: Small carpet installation job on steps that was done neatly, professioally, and at a very fair price. I highly recommend Elite for all flooring needs. They did a hardwood floor installation job for me last year and did a superb job.

Description of Work: Sanded floors and applied 2 coats of finish. The floors were rough afterward and not enough finish had been applied. They offered to come back for more money. I ended up remanding and had to apply 4 more coats to get a reasonable finish. The workers entered rooms they weren't working on to snoop around and the boss went to use a bathroom on another floor without asking. They didn't charge a lot but the quality of the job was really poor.

Description of Work: It was a small job. They installed the tiles in the foyer and laundry area. The guys were very professional and punctual. | |Everything went very well except one thing. After they installed the tiles, one of the doors is kind of grinding against the floor and hard to open and scratching the tiles. | |I hope they read this and fix the door. Overall a very positive experience.

Description of Work: Joseph was prompt courteous and accommodating. His staff did an excellent job refinishing my hardwood floors. Joe even came back himself to stain a piece of molding that was forgotten. I highly recommend this provider and would definitely use them again for any future work.

Description of Work: The dining room and office were sanded and new polyurethane applied. Joe made sure that 3 coats were applied. |They came back on the 4th day and moved the furniture back into place. We did pay extra for that, but it was a cost known to us at the outset. |We have more rooms to be done, and will be contacting Joe and Elite Services again.

Description of Work: Hardwood floors refinished,living room,dining room,hallway and bedroom,all stripped,stained,3 coats.Joe,Elite owner,came to give price for job,including Angies list coupon,he was very factual and professional.Job took 4 days,day 1 I had to be there to make sure stain color was correct and lockbox installed.Next three days workmen came as their schedule permitted using lockbox,so we felt secure not being there.The actual physical work is done by workers who are probably subcontracted by Joe/Elite Surfaces and they are very good.After job completed Joe came back to make sure we were satisfied before making payment.Job was done neatly and on schedule,have already recommended Elite to friends and family.

Description of Work: After I made the initial call to get an estimate for hardwood floor sanding and refinishing, they called back right away and set up an appointment for the next day. They finished in 4 days (which is what they said they would happen) and the floors look like new. I would definitely recommend this company and we would use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Elite Services refinished existing hard wood floors in a bedroom. They did an excellent job, floors came out great! Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant and helpful. Joe was at the job, was very prompt, and returned any calls right away. I would definitely use Elite Services again, and would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: We recently bought an older home and tore up the carpets in all of the rooms. The wood floors underneath were very stained and we feared we might have to replace them. Thanks to Joe at Elite we were able to save all of them except for the foyer. His team did a wonderful job replacing the foyer in its original design and he miraculously matched it to the old oak floors in the adjoining living room. Elite refinished all the floors throughout our house and we couldn't be happier. They look beautiful! In addition, we were under a tight time crunch to get this done and they accommodated our schedules perfectly. We highly recommend them for hardwood floor refinishing and replacement.
