Joe is one of the best in the business. He gives you a quote and a time and date and his crew is there. His staff is professional. I had a kitchen rip out, which turned out to be 3 layers. The end result was fantastic. My kitchen, bathroom, laundry room look great. I highly recommend Elite Surfaces for your next floor.

We’ve used Elite previously and the job went well which is why we called Joe back. This time was a different story. I think I’ve been fair in my assessment and letter rating because he is punctual and does return phone calls and the job was completed on time. However, his workers had no respect for our home and we had several issues and damage. Joe knew that we had just had our bathrooms remodeled and his workers had a total disregard and thought because it was demo day that it meant they could trash anything in their path. I wrote the letter below to Joe and received no response. I also believe that this job was subcontracted. . Joe, I am writing to you to tell you how disappointed we are in the service this time around. We selected Elite because of our experience with you when you refinished our living room and dining room and the competitive pricing. Granted, when the guys did that work, the rooms were empty and it was probably an easier job. However, this time, there was no regard or respect for me, Mary or our property. When David delivered the wood, we watched him carry 40 bundles of very heavy product and he didn’t scratch or mark a thing. As a matter of fact, we gave him a $35 dollar tip. This time, all I heard out of his mouth was “its demo day.” I guess this gave everyone license to demolish whatever was in their way. You knew that we had just renovated the bathrooms, and all the painting, aside from the two smaller rooms, had already been done and no care or caution was taken. It amazed me out little regard your workers had for our home. • Front Storm Door, which is relatively new, was scratched and you repaired • Hall Bath Pocket Door – hit so hard, that the door would not close and you had to fix • Master Bedroom Door Frame cracked – I guess this is up to our painter to caulk and paint since the molding was not replaced • Picture Frame by Master – bottom piece was knocked off - replaced • Gouges in freshly painted drywall • Gouges in Door Frame molding • Fuse Box – Someone should have asked. We have a 220 outlet downstairs and there was no need to take our fuse box apart. There were four screws when it was taken apart, now there are only three and the box was barely screwed back on. I had to tighten all of the screws • Water Base Poly slapped all over master bedroom base board molding, which was upgraded and already painted. There was no reason for this – the guys simply did not care. The molding now has to be primed and painted again because the poly is bleeding through with just paint. • Fireplace – faux rock has a big chip out of the bottom left that is noticeable. David argued with Us and insisted that Elite did not do this, when in fact we found the pieces of the fireplace in the bedroom. Elite absolutely did this damage and I have attached a picture of the pieces. • The topper? After the third coat of Poly, one of the guys dropped his canister vacuum from the top steps in the living room and it went all the way to the bottom of the stairs. I still don’t know how the decorative jars at the bottom of the stairs were not broken. We have worked hard for everything we have and no one handed us a thing. If you subcontracted this job, you should have told us, because I wouldn’t have used you. The trucks that were here, were not Elite trucks, so I am guessing that you did subcontract. It is also going to cost us an additional $450 to paint, caulk and fix the damage to walls, baseboard and molding. Even our painter was upset because he has to go back and redo what he has already done. It’s amazing how no one cares about the job they do. It’s all about get in, get paid and move on to the next job. If I worked like that, I wouldn’t have a job. We will never do business with Elite again, and I will not refer Elite to any of my friends or colleagues

Awesome. Many other contractors block my street when working at my residence but Mr Bambace had enough common sense to see the issue and parked in my driveway without me asking him to.

The tile work was perfect and would use him again!

Excellent. The workmanship is better than any I've seen. Elite uses quality products and skilled professionals. And Joe, the owner, will help you by advising on materials, cost, etc.

Spectacular. The craftsmanship is superior. Joe worked hard to make sure my job was completed on time. I live two hours away from the property and there were a few glitches (on my end.) Joe shifted his job schedule to work around me! I love the floors - couldn't be more satisfied. Don't hesitate to use this company for flooring, tile, counter tops or any other upgrade!

Mr. Bambace is knowledgeable, professional, and honest. My hardwood floors were beautifully done and the cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommended his services.

Joe and crew were simply amazing! Refinished 400 ft of wood and installed and additional 200 ft to match….perfectly! We also had a bathroom tiled and 800 ft of floor tile laid and to this day every time I take a shower I look for a blemish……but none to find. Amazing work for an amazing price. Highly recommended!!!

Joseph was wonderful and so was his staff, listened to everything I wanted and even gave great ideas . Would highly recommend for any job.

Joey Bambace was AMAZINGGGGG. My bathrooms took 5 days total to complete. My bathroom was a total gut down to the studs. When he was done it was perfect. The carpeting he helped me select came out beautiful throughout the entry of my home . The hardwood floors were put in by a different installer and had nothing but problems since day one. Joey came to my house and repaired every area that had issues in a timely and efficient manner. His expertise saved me a lot of money. Anyone else wouldve had me rip my floors out .Best part of it all was that when job was completed he didnt leave my home a mess. Hes a perfectionist and truly knows his craft. I wouldnt trust anyone else.

Terrible comes to our house to start job starts screaming in our home 5 mins later and leaves and slams our door!! HOT TEMPER OWNER JOSEPH STAY AWAY BEWARE OF THIS CRAZY PERSON. UNPROFESSONAL

It went fantastic. They came three separate days, always showed up on time, and worked until their job was done. They cleaned up after themselves and were available to answer questions. The floors are beautiful.

Excellent Service, we didn?t like shine for first time. They did work again for free to bring exact shine we want. Very cooperative and ready to adjust as per your need. In future any work related to floor I will use this service again.

Awesome job. My last review said my only complaint was that the new oak boards that he installed in the closet from 2015 did not that the same color as the old boards in the same room from 1970?). ,He had tried to fix it the last time, but the polyurethane had already been put on the new boards and well you never know what color wood will turn to. When I hired Tom again to refinish another room, I asked if he could restain the newer closet boards from the last job. I figured Tom would charge me to refinish that section of the floor, but he did not. He did much more than I thought. He also fixed a section of the board that could not be sanded last time because I did cut the trim when I widened the closet. He fixed that area for free even though it was my fault! My wife also asked him to fill some void in the kitchen. I gotta say heirs meticulous and trustworthy. Recommended him to my dad. Best person I have gotten from Angie's list.

They arrived on time, and worked hard throughout the day and a half. It was a great effort, which my wife and I appreciated. We would definitely recommend them!

Joe and his crew came at 7:30am on 10/22 and went over the entire job. They ripped up the old tile in the center hall and laid a mesh for the new tile. Plastic was put up to prevent dust from entering rooms that were not being done. The family room was done in 3 1/2 inch brazilian cherry. All work was completed within 3 days. It came out fantastic and we are very happy with the work.

The work was completed in the summer in a very hot home in the summer without ac as I had just finished a rough opening with closets and was worried about having plaster dust getting into the ac. The first day they new hardwood in the voids I had when I enlarged two rough closet openings. . They were careful with my 1929 mill work and tried to make the repairs as seamless as possible. Whenever I had a concern they addressed it via email or in person. His other crew came the next day to sand and put the first polyurethane link. They put plastic up to prevent dust from spreading. They then vacuumed any areas there was some dust and even my steps outside! I misread a email for the next day and was not present when they came. They did not make me feel badly, but adjusted. Again they were quick and courteous. I discussed with them though that the new boards were staining differently, but the crew said it would match. Joe came the next data told them they had to add stain on those boards to blend them in better. While those boards match better, they still stand out as being lighter. I guess I have to try to find a stain to put on to to blend in better. Overall they did a lot and worked with me and they were pleasant.

MORE OVER, THE RESULTS ARE FANTASTIC. WE SELECTED THE NEW WOOD LOOK PORCELIN TILE WHICH WAS EXPERTLY INSTALLED. WE CANNOT SAY ENOUGH! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM. THE WOOD FLOORING IN THE 2 BEDROOMS WERE INSTALLED BY ANOTHER TEAM BRINGING THEIR EXPERT SKILLS TO THE INSTALLATION PROJECT. BOTH THE TILE AND THE WOOD FLOORS WILL LAST THE LIFETIME OF THIS HOUSE. JOE AND HIS FOREMAN DAVID BRING SKILL AND CARING IN ALL ASPECTS OF THEIR WORK. IN ALL OUR YEARS OF WORKING WITH DIFFERENT CONTRACTORS, THIS TEAM IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY AND THE BEST WE HAVE EVER USED.

Elite Surfaces team was very professional. They worked with me to address all of the issues my floor had and the results were great. I will be using them for my Kitchen as well.

They did a great job on these older wood floors. We had a living and dining room comprising around 500 square feet. They were able to provide a uniform look and feel. The job was done professionally, cleanly and when they said it would get done. My wife and I were extremely happy with how this project came out.
