They did a great job on these older wood floors. We had a living and dining room comprising around 500 square feet. They were able to provide a uniform look and feel. The job was done professionally, cleanly and when they said it would get done. My wife and I were extremely happy with how this project came out.

Joe came to my house to show me samples and discuss what I needed to have done. He was courteous and patient. I did get another estimate but decided to go with this company as they could also do my breakfast bar the same day they did the floor and the price was good. The day of the job they came on time (actually worked with me on that and were very accommodating) and did the work in a professional and timely manner - even overcame some of the problems that were inherent in my floors (under the carpet and I didn't know about beforehand). They cleaned up any mess from the job after they were done. I am very pleased with the work done on both the floor and my breakfast bar. Would definitely hire this company again.

Joe and his team were studs. It came out like brand new. Everytime I called him, he picked up and came back to my house to take a look at any question I had. He even came again at the end to do a final inspection and cleaned up anything he didn't like. Joe knows his floors. Definitely will use them again when using my other 2 hardwood floors need to get done. He is a true pro.

Joe and his Elite Surfaces crew were absolutely amazing at transforming the hardwood floors of the 50-year old ranch house that we purchased. We hired Elite Surfaces to repair and refinish the hardwood floors that needed lots of updating and minor repairs, during a very stressful time in our lives (purchasing a "fixer-upper" and needing to complete all repairs and renovations in only 3 weeks prior to our move-in date). We knew almost nothing about hardwood floors (since our previous home was carpeted) and Joe the owner did a great job at explaining the process and keeping us informed throughout the project. Repairs and refinishing took 5 days total across 3 weeks, and Joe was very accommodating/flexible in helping us schedule the work in-between our other contractors (chimney, mold, electricians, plumbers, bath remodeling, etc - total chaos!) since there were days that no one could walk on the floors due to the refinishing process. We were so impressed by Joe's knowledge, experience, flexibility and "can-do" attitude, that we trusted Joe from our initial meeting with him and literally hired him on the spot and gave him our house key. We even got other quotes from other companies for our own peace of mind, and we were very happy to discover Joe's price was in the middle - not the cheapest or most expensive, but in-between. FYI, Joe's company is also the only floor company out there who does THREE coats of clear coat to refinish and protect the floors - all the other floor companies in Central Jersey typically do 2 coats. We can't say enough good things about Joe and highly recommend Elite Surfaces as the best floor company with very reasonable pricing.

Using Elite turned out to be the best decision I made for this project, Joe is the consummate professional, he is very knowledgeable and accommodating. The specialized craftsmen he brought in for the different phases of my project were outstanding, and really did a fabulous job. Through out the project everyone was always punctual, courteous and eager to please. I get at least three estimates before selecting a contractor and Joe's prices were by far the best. He brought samples of flooring, rugs etc. and picked up the materials regardless of where I purchased it (local of course), made any changes I requested and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. The house looks great and we receive compliments by everyone who has seen it. The highest compliment I can pay a contractor is to recommend him to a friend who was doing another large project, which I did, and who is equally as pleased as I am with the outcome.

Joe was very responsive and did everything he could to keep us happy. There was a problem with the direction the floors could be installed that we did not find out about until the day they were coming to install - this should have been something noticed earlier. They also forgot to sand and refinish under the fridge. He was very accomidating and worked hard to keep us happy, although there were some annoyances along the way. The end product is good and we are happy with the exception of two items: carpet in one room has concrete under it and there is a spot with a rock or something that was not removed during install and there are a few spots on the hardwood with machine marks (not very noticable, but definately visable). Overall Joe was professional and easy to work with.

They come on time, and finish the job in three days. They taped other rooms so that the dust is minimized. There are a couple of small areas that has uneven coatings and Joe, the owner of Elite Surfaces, came back and fixed them. After they did the final coating on the 3rd day, my son told me that he by accident stepped into the floor. I called Joe and he sent the crew back right way to fix that.

Joe came to my house and gave me an estimate of how much the labor would be to install the backsplash. He then directed me to a tile showroom to pick out exactly the right tiles for me. After I chose my tile and pattern, I emailed him the information and he then priced out the cost of materials, gave me a quote and I quickly agreed. It took about 1.5 weeks for the special order materials to arrive; but, as soon as everything was in hand the process began and finished quickly! Everything came out beautiful, I love my kitchen and the new look! I would recommend Elite and would use them again in a heartbeat! Thank you!

We got big deal for 449 from angies list to get the back splash work done. we supplied the tile according to our preference. Its about 35-40sq ft only. 2 people worked for nearly 4 hrs to complete the work. they did the work with out messing the place. we showed the picture details and they fixed the tiles accordingly. We are so satisfied and happy with their work.

Joe and his team thoroughly cleaned and sealed the grout on a large tile floor. Excellent job it's hard to believe it was the same floor when they were finished. Also lightly sanded and refinished 2 small rooms with wood floors. They did little extras like fixing cracked grout. They were punctual and did what they said they would do. I'm satisfied and will use them again.

The job was completed quickly and was done very well. The backsplash looks great!

Being as I run a busy restaurant my concern was the timing it would take to install the tile. I was pleasantly surprised at the accommodating owner, he understood my concern and scheduled the job to be done after closing. It was a one day job, and the crew left my restaurant cleaner than it was before they even got there. I have reffered several people and they are always happy with the job.

I called Elite Surfaces to come give a quote on refinishing my hardwood floors. I called Elite because I have used them before to tile my kitchen backsplash and was very happy with everything. Like last time the owner Joe came out promptly and on time to give the quote. I was happy with the price and knew the quality of work they do. As expected I couldn't be happier with the floors.

Joe and his installers were courteous and professional and I was more than happy with the end result. I plan to have them come back to provide wood flooring in my bedrooms and a backsplash in my kitchen. I highly recommend Elite Surfaces!
