Description of Work: It took several attempts to rid our attic of squirrels. Cavanagh's captured the mother squirrel in a have a heart trap,but the babies eluded the trap. They eventually put up a one way screen; babies out, but not back in!

Description of Work: Job was covered under warranty hence no price. Evidence of carpenter ants in basement. They retreated the basement and even offered to spray the home for a general treatment. Also installed mouse traps in the garage for free (preventative measure as I did not have mice).

+ 0 moreCavanaugh's was VERY prompt! Came the day I called. Examined the area and set the traps. The 2 man crew were very familiar w/ this type of situation and answered all my questions. The whole thing was handled very professionally - The exterminators were very courteous and friendly, dressed neat and clean, and were very knowlegeable about the task at hand. I thought that $350 (plus tax = $375) was a bit steep for racoon removal -- but they were actually the most reasonable out of everyone that I called. They explained the service and provided an invoice up-front. There was no pressure for money and I paid once the were finished. One thing I didn't know was that they don't work on the weekends and that the traps are closed on Friday afternoon and not re-set again until Monday. (I was just worried that the racoon would sneak back in, but he didn't). And I was pleasantly surprised by the thorough job sealing up the whole with wire once they were complete -- really made sure that another animal would not get back in. Will definitely use Cavanaugh's again if the situation ever arises.
Description of Work: Racoon in the attic. Need I say more?! They came and looked in the attic, saw droppings and saw little paw marks on the outside of the roof - where the racoon had chewed thru old trim. They set 2 traps and came back DAILY to check on the traps. Left a report at the door if I was not home. Within the week they did catch the racoon!! And then they put up heavy wire over the hole, so that his friends won't come back. (They said that they took him to a different location and let him free -- promised me that it wasn't nearby!!)

+ -1 moreI have an annual plan with them and it?s unlimited. Their last job was fine and reasonably priced. They were very flexible in terms of the scheduling. I have been using their services since 2004. They have been able to keep a lot of pests out of my house. I would definitely use their services in the future too.
Description of Work: I used the services of Cavanaugh's Exterminating Company in May for extermination of pests inside as well as outside the house. There were no issues but they did a general treatment. They also kept traps for mice in my utility room in the basement where the furnace is there.

+ 0 moreI worked with them and I was extremely satisfied. One of the problems I have is squirrels in my attic. I feel for the amount of service calls they made and the quality of the service provided, the price for the contract was very fair. They were excellent. For punctuality and professionalism, they rank very high. I have seldom met such a group of well-mannered service people in my life. These were well-trained people that knew what they were doing and they were beautifully mannered. I will use them wherever I am if there is a need. If I relocate, I would not hesitate to call them and see if they would service me where I wind up. I have been happy to refer them to several people here in my area.

+ -1 moreRalph, our regular technician, is always pleasant and on time, and always asks if I have any questions, or if there are any new signs. He is always very thorough. We've also used Cavanaugh's for termite infestation in a previous home and both my parents and grandparents have used this company.
Description of Work: We use Cavanaugh's to perform quarterly treatment and prevention services for mice and insects. When we moved into our nearly 100 year old row home (attached at both sides to other houses), it was apparent that the previous owners had problems with mice. Cavanaugh's selected a solution that is safe for our children and dog, and has pretty much eliminated any noticeable signs of infestation. We also have them spray the basement and kitchen quarterly for general insect control. Price stated is quarterly cost.
