It went well. The technician who came out was friendly and informative. He was clean and wore shoe covers in the house. The glue traps caught 3 mice right away and 2 weeks later he came back and set more and sprayed in the garage as well. We bought the year service contract and so far are well satisfied.

Went very well. Did their inspection thoroughly and gave me a proposal for the work.

We liked them very much. Everything was fine. They called you about 20 minutes to half an hour before they got there to ttell you they're on their way. Things went firmly. Everybody was happy. They answered everything we asked. It was a good experience. Everything was an A.

I will never use this company again. I found a mouse in the bathroom and was able to trap it in. I called Cavanaugh based on reviews from Angie's List. I called the company and told them that I found a mouse in the bathroom and I was able to keep it in the bathroom. I asked if someone could come that same day and she said yes but that I had to pay $250 for the service. I found the price ridiculously high for just one visit and without checking the problem or providing any services first. Since I was stressed out in finding the mouse and having a very nervous elderly mother, I paid the service fee beforehand over the phone (which I never do!). When the technician arrived, I showed him where the mouse was trapped and he was able to catch it right away. He checked the house and found no holes (since we had these all covered from the day we moved into the house) but set 3 traps. I then called the office once the technician left and asked if the price could be lowered since the only thing that was done was catching the mouse and setting up 3 traps. The girl said that they couldn't reduce the price but if I wanted to, they offered a service contract at a discounted price since I already paid $250. So, in other words, I paid in advance for a "so called" service fee so they can get me into a contract. I told her that I didn't need one since this was the first time a mouse ever came into the house and would not need the services again. The technician thinks the mouse came through the front door when I left it open to bring in groceries. Since then, no issues with another mouse. The technician was professional and courteous. I'm very disappointed that a company will take advantage when someone is in a stressful situation.

We have a plan with Cavanaugh's where they check our house every year for termites. If we should ever get termites in the future, they will remove them without any extra cost. We do this for piece of mind especially because our lot is wooded and we get many bugs in the yard and sometimes in the house. We also had the plan with them in our first house for 12 years. A few years ago, a tree from our property fell on a clear night. The tree was partially hollow in the bottom half, which was due to age and carpenter ants. I had Cavanaugh's come out to verify that termites were not involved. They did not charge me for the visit. In general, they give us a three or four hour window, and almost always show up within that time frame. They check the first floor, the exposed blocks in our mostly finished basement, the garage, and the perimeter of the outside of the house.

It was fine. I think he left me with an estimate if we wanted to go with an annual contract. The traps were all over the place. He was very thorough. I thought it was very positive. He was very professional. He was zero pressure with leaving me the annual contract. He kept saying that he knows that we have a lot going on and a lot of expenses, just put it aside if you're interested in the future. It was very low pressure approach. I am thinking about doing the annual contract with them.

Representative and workers were professional and went above and beyond to compete project. Would definitely use them again. Will sign up for yearly servicing.

They told us what we could do about the woodpecker and quoted to hang shiny things to scare him off and replace the piece of wrecked trim. We felt that part was very expensive and decided to plug the hole ourselves and hang aluminum foil, seems to have worked. The critter problem was handled very well. They came out and tried to find an entry point. After finding what they thought it was they placed a baited trap by the opening. A squirrel was caught 2 days later. They came that day, removed the animal and replaced the trap. Next day another squirrel. Came out same day and set another trap. Caught another squirrel. Came and left trap for 3 days, it stayed empty so they came back and placed wire over the entry point. No issues since.

Service was for rodent exclusion but the service provider was interested in setting baits only. As soon as I met him, he wanted to setup baits only. He was like "it is almost impossible to block rodent entry points in the house". It proves that he had no interest in blocking the rodent entry point. He put bait in Garage & basement only. When I asked him did you close the rodent entry point - his response was "there is no way for rodents to enter into house, they can come only via trees touching the house & i should get it trimmed. When I showed him one hole, his response was "It needs to be fixed by contractor, i can't put copper mesh in there.". So, in nutshell the worst service & $139 down the drain. I will never use this company again nor I recommend it to anyone. Beware... You are better off visually inspecting your house from outside (he didn't want to find any passage), then put copper mesh into those holes; you will find more holes yourself. Then put some baits, after buying from hardware store for $25-$30. I was completely ripped off by this company.

Did not rid the hornets nest and asked to use my pool. Needless to say I will not use them again.

They came, got the job done, and left. The work turned out good.

I haven’t had problems with mice since. I wasn’t home when they did the work, but I think they did okay. They came out once and there were no additional fees. The pricing was good.

It went fine. Professional service and did exactly what was expected.

They (Tony) came out to my residence (he was 15 minutes early) and explained the whole procedure to me and gave me a choice of which method to use in getting rid of mice. He completed the job in approximately 30 minutes and told me he would come back out in 2 weeks and plug up the mice holes. We found out where they were coming in at and have caught 4 mice in 4 nights. Very friendly and professional! |

First person came and placed bait stations but did not search for or block any entry points. Called them back, Second person came and did what they were supposed to do in the first visit.

The technician was nice but he didn't do the work as stated within the deal. I'm not sure where the communication issues came about but he didn't do a full inspection. I showed him where I had found rodents previously. The deal said he would use mesh to seal up the holes but he did not have any mesh with him so I furnished foam and steel wool to patch the 2-3 places. He also laid a few traps using his own bait but not in the right areas. He couldn't get to all of them because he would have needed to go into the crawl space which he wasn't prepared to do. Afterwards, I received a bill from Cavanaugh's Pest Control for $90.35 for the service. This raised more questions because the deal was for $139 so I was being charged less than what I had already paid. Cavanaugh's Pest Control shouldn't have billed anything since I purchased the Big Deal and I'm also wondering why they were charging less than the deal was for.

The service went very well. According to the website and everything so that they couldn't come out for couple of days. I beg with them and they came out that day. I ordered it on Monday and they came out Monday afternoon. They came out and put done bate and traps. I could have them come back one more time within three to do more or check it out. I was reasonably happy with them. He was professional and very prompt in responding. The office person was very helpful, they understood my concern. As far as the preliminary response and everything, everything went very well.

The service was good. The man who came out looked over the whole house and then he went into the attic and he knew then what it was. We had some rats or mice and then he put some traps down around the house, in the attic and in the garage. We had some difficulties with the scheduling. He never showed up the first time and then when I called to reschedule it, they gave me a hard time. The price of the service was good.

I was treated with professionalism and respect, and the company didn't try to make a fast buck off of me. That's why I'll consider Cavanaugh's services in the future .

We worked with Sean who was very knowledgeable and took the time out to answer all our questions around root causes, best ways to control rodents, annual service package offered by Cavanaugh, etc. Their price for the annual maintenance package was competitive (though we had a cheaper option) but I liked the flexibility it offered in terms of scheduling monthly visits on need basis. Overall we had a good experience and would recommend them to friends.

Everything went well. Nice company to deal with. Price seemed reasonable. Carpenter ants exterminated. My only complaint is that the insecticide left a faint, but lasting, odor.

He used a flushing agent and no hive was found, probably a mud wasp that is gone now. Noted many mud wasps around area and informed me they are harmless and do no damage to property. Told me my vent cover was damaged and I should replace it.
