Description of Work: Got the "rodent exclusion package" special offered by Angie's List for $139. It was a complete joke. The person who came out only wanted to set up baits. He was reluctant to look for any entry points on the exterior of the house. He claimed that this was futile anyway, that the mice would find a way into the house regardless of what he did. He went so far as to say that he'd never heard of this "rodent exclusion package" and that he didn't think much of it. In the end, he filled a few holes around the house with copper mesh and putty, but it did not feel like he did a thorough job at all. Worst $139 I ever spent. I also feel that Angie's List was complicit in this experience, since the package was a special promotion offered by the website. I would not use this company again, and I would think twice about clicking on any special promotions through Angie's List.

Description of Work: We used Cavanaugh's pest control to repair about sixteen feet of exterior wall that had been badly damaged by termites. The damage was floor to ceiling including part of the sile plate and top header. Their carpenter Paul was really great the job was done in three days including replacing all wood, sheetrocking and spackling and we could not be happier. I would recommend this company to any one needing termite repair work.

Description of Work: I called for a thorough inspection of where the pest were coming in, after my exterminator of approx. 15 years told me everything was fine. Cavanugh 's inspection found not one, but six points of possible entry. He promptly filled all holes, inspected and baited thoroughly. I can't tell you how much better I felt after he did his job. I immediately signed for a yearly contract with them. They are the professionals I want to treat my home and keep it pest free.

Description of Work: Had Cavanaugh's come out to track down a squirrel in the basement. Gentleman that arrived was very nice, professional and very helpful. He checked out our basement and the perimeter of the house and determined how the squirrel got in - and although he was sure that he had left, he warned me that he'd be back and to fix the hatch where he had gained entry. What I found most impressive is that I also had some termites (that I had mistaken for ants) and he asked me a bunch of questions - and then told me that while they do preform the services, that I should check my files with regard to the previous company that the former owner had worked with, that they should guarantee the work that they did. Clearly, they didn't care about the amount of the bill, but wanted to do right by their clients. The amount I paid was for the service call.
