Excellent!
Description of Work: Doug and his team were amazing. They did an excellent and clean job on our windows. We decided to go all in and do them all at once. It was a great decision and I surprisingly pleased with the quality of work and professionalism they showed. I would hire them again to do our front and back door. I would also say we had on or two extra tweaks that needed to be fixed after and they followed up on their promises and delivered. The installer we had was top notch worker and all around great guy!

Description of Work: Overall, I am pleased with my new windows and slider. The install was done well, expedient, and clean. I had two issues, one involving the cross bar on the screens and another with the unexpected removal of energy efficient stickers. The cross bars on the screens had to be removed since these are not allowed by my condo association. This was discussed ahead of time with Universal Windows Direct and I was told there was no cross bar on the screens. Also, I discussed my intentions of filing for the energy tax credit but this information was not passed along to the installer. Initially the stickers were removed and thrown in the garbage. The installer was able to retrieve the stickers from the garbage. In both cases, Universal Windows Direct and the installer resolved these issues but I feel these issues should not have happened in the first place. They only added to the stress of the day and perhaps I would have made a different decision if I knew about the cross bars on the screens ahead of time.

Description of Work: 4 windows, front door with storm door. Salesman was awesome. we did our 4 worst (draftiest and hardest to open/close) windows, which he didn't care that we weren't in the financial place to do all 14 windows at that time. kept us in our budget and discounted the front & storm doors since we were doing the windows. |Salesman was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable. Installers were punctual, clean, well versed in the product and the install.

Description of Work: Universal Windows installed 17 windows throughout our house. Their bid was the best we were offered, and once the windows were delivered to them, they were installed within one sitting. | |I followed up with Doug through email about one sash that needed to be replaced, and he took care of it in no time. | |I also appreciate that when Doug comes to your house to talk to you about his product, that its a nice and relaxed sales pitch. I had already gone through the horrors of a 3 hour Anderson window pitch, and Doug and company were a breath of fresh air.

Description of Work: Quality replacement windows at a great price. Doug is a great guy, no pushy sales stuff like I got from Pella. Installation team were great guys too. Had a delay because of potential lead issues and they weren't supplied to deal with that in the original installation date, but that might be a likely scenario to prep for when installing in old houses. Other than that, smooth, friendly, and the great pricing.
