Extremely well, from Sales to installation. Sales person (Doug) was extremely knowledgeable. He showed me all the different models and types of material I could choose from for my new door. He answered all my question, and was willing to negotiate on price. The installation team was great! They arrived right on time, and completed the installation in 1.25 hrs. They had everything they needed to complete the job (including their own broom, dust pan and waste basket). They too were knowledgeable, and explained how to use the locks (dead bolt) on the door. They cleaned-up as they went. I am very pleased with every aspect of the product and service provided by Universal Windows Direct of New Jersey.

We're happy with the new double-hung and sliding windows from Universal Windows. Doug and Mindy were responsive from scheduling an estimate to ordering the windows to confirming an installation date. The prices were fair, and the install was quick and clean. Universal Windows will be my first call for future window replacements.

Universal Windows is so great! Starting with Doug on the estimate, Mindy in the office, Eric and team doing the install, were so professionally. My windows were done without any mess in the house, they removed and replaced window treatments. Overall it was a fabulous experience and would recommend this company to my friends and family.

The initial consultation was easy, measurements were taken soon after, the products were ready sooner than expected, and the installers expertly and efficiently removed the old and installed the new. I am very satisfied with how well everything looks.

Again, Doug responded quickly and met us at the home. He measured the windows and discussed any unique situations (there was only one, an egress window). Doug had samples of the various options and reviewed the differences in comparing. We also discussed the competition and asked for comparisons e.g. with Andersen. Doug answered all our questions. We selected the Unishield Plus as we ordered these on the first home. The installation went very well and was completed in one day with a full crew. The install manager showed me an issue with the 2nd floor fire escape ladder reinforcement which he noticed. We appreciated this and have resolved this issue which could have been a serious issue. A big thank you for a job well done!

It went smoothly, and the new windows look nice and work fine, good job! The only thing I am not happy with is that the price was about 10-15% higher than it should be.

Work was done as explained in the prep email. Workers arrived in time frame quoted and worked quickly and left the house clean as promised. Rob did a great job explaining everything to us along the way. Angie's List deal was great.

It was very nice. They were nice people, very responsive and they cleaned up after themselves.One of the windows had a scratch then we informed them and they replaced it for us immediately.

Window installation was easy. Door installation required some extra work to fix problems from the old door and siding installation. They also fixed those old problems and added extra shielding to make sure the door was sealed properly.

Great job from start to finish. Estimating was easy, Michele at the Universal office was lovely, thorough and made scheduling a seamless process. The crew arrived as scheduled, they were professional and powered through a pretty big job in one day. Clean up was taken care of, they even fixed a portion of the masonry under one of the windows they replaced at no charge. The finished project looks amazing. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Universal Windows Direct was great to work with. They were very good with communication and scheduling, and they did a great job with the installation of my windows. My association requires extra paperwork and approvals, and they quickly got me everything that I needed. I used them a few years ago for a sliding door and set of upstairs windows and was just as happy this time. I would recommend them.

We're ecstatic about having a door we can easily open and close that looks good and helps keep temperatures even in the house. When we're ready to do windows we will be calling them back to do more work. Maybe next year!

They were great. The installers were very professional and left everything in clean and perfect condition. They explained to me how to operate the door before they left to make sure everything was in working order.

Wonderful experience with Doug (owner), Mindy (office manager) and Rob (installer)! Doug showed us exactly what we were looking for (vinyl double-hung windows that tilted in with grills between 2 windows), Mindy was a pleasure in scheduling the measuring and installation date, and Rob and his crew of 5 were professional, pleasant and hard-working. The installation went quickly and smoothly and we couldn't be happier with the final product. The total cost was reasonable (especially compared to a few other companies we spoke with) but the peace of mind having new windows is priceless.

It was great. First they were responsive and accommodating: the salesperson came to the house on a Saturday which was helpful so my husband could be here as well. They fit us in ahead of schedule and were on time, professional and friendly. They cleaned up and showed me the damage and how they fixed it and even put the chain back on the new door, I highly recommend them.

This is our second time using Universal Windows Direct to replace windows in our home. Our original windows were extremely drafty and irregular. We initially replaced windows in our bedrooms and basement. We were happy with the new windows and the service provided, so when it was time to replace the drafty kitchen and diningroom windows, we called them back. There are 3 visits: a sales visit (Doug brings a model window and discusses features and options), a measuring visit, and installation. The gentlemen were professional and did their job quickly and thoroughly. They brought a garbage can in with them and cleaned up after themselves. They even noticed that our front door wasn't closing properly and paused to tighten some screws! The windows look good and I know from experience that they fit well. I can already feel the difference. Looking forward to not freezing in the kitchen in the mornings!

This company, the customer service was excellent, it was superb. Response is great, they will get back to you with everything. The quality of the work so far is excellent. I don't have any complaints. It's a little bit expensive but the quality of the product was well worth it. The cleaned up was good. They are very professional.

Excellent! Doug came to give quote and was very helpful, professional, made good recommendations, and is really easy to work with. He and his staff followed up on everything. The windows have made a big difference! It is not drafty like in the past with the 30 year old Anderson windows. The second home is unused during the week. Even during the hottest days when the temperature reached the high 90's, the temp inside never got above 80 even though no A/C was on. I notice a slight tint to the glass that keeps out the heat of the sun's rays. I am amazed the way the glass and frames remain warm in the winter. Today it is 22 and when I place my hand on the glass and frame they are not cold.

The guys were very professional, the windows they installed completely change the look of the house kitchen and the basement. Great crew experience, in a timely manner, and I highly recommend them. Price was great, a lot lower than the other quotes that I got.
