Doug was very professional to take time to help us to make a good decision. David and other Installer were professional and did excellent job. We are very happy with their work.

So far, everything looks good. Will test in hot summer to see how stable the material and how good is the installation.

I was so happy with the bow window they replaced last year, we hired them again to replace all the windows in the house. I'll keep this review quick since I did a more in depth review of the bow window. Doug gave a great price, installers showed up on time, they finished in a day! The windows have made such a change in the comfort level in the house. I didn't realize how drafty the old ones were. The heat kicks on less and noise level has been reduced. We are now thinking about have the front door replaced.

I was very satisfied with Doug (owner's) initial response in coming out to show me the product, working with me to maintain a budget and providing good followup service (along with Mindy's valuable assistance). The work crew that did the work was very polite (led by Rob) and quite efficient. The job was performed in 3 days, as it was an extensive job to do, especially considering it was done during the winter. I had a slight issue with the French Doors which they were responsive to correct. Overall, I would definitely recommend them for any additional work.

So far so good. I have scheduled the work but will write more after installation (spring). I was very impressed with Doug and his presentation and Mindy was very customer friendly on the phone. Doug knew his "stuff" and there was no pushy hard sell.

The guys arrived on time and got to work immediately. They were very pleasant, and very efficient at their job and at paying attention to detail. It's been a couple of months since install and I'm happy to report the windows are working great!! The price was fair, I would recommend Universal Windows without reservation.

It was a pleasure working with Doug and Mindy. The installation of my new windows and sliding glass door went very smoothly. The installers showed up on time and installed the windows and door in one day. I would definitely use their services again.

My folks had a rotting window frame on the first floor of their home. Did a lot of research comparing windows from companies that make custom windows that have been in business 50+ years and name brands like Anderson and his windows were rated very well at the price point. His crew arrived on time and better yet took the time to make sure the window was properly seated, took out all the rot and redid the frame. There was a small clicking sound while locking the window, and they made sure that sound disappeared. I have had other installers come, but they wouldn't care about a small detail like that. Hired again to redo my whole home.

Installer's were punctual, professional and did a great job.

The team came to do the measuring on the day and time they had scheduled and when the time came for the installation, again they were very punctual. Each window took about 1 hour to install, so they were finished by early afternoon. I do think that, considering the price, it would have been a nice service to have cleaned the windows once they were installed. Fortunately, it was a nice day and I was able to get them done immediately after the team left. Winter has come and I am seeing an amazing improvement. The windows are draft free, and the composition material of the frames is not freezing to the touch like the old aluminum ones were. I highly recommend these windows and Universal if you are in the NJ area and should be thinking of replacing your old ones.

Person came and gave estimate, some options for upgrading but I stuck with the basic version. Mindy was very good at communicating what and when the install would happen - we had to postpone a few times due to rain. Install was scheduled for 8:30 AM and they came about 8:15 and were done completely before 10! Door looks great, works great - no more cold air leaking in and hot air leaking out! Received a call from Universal Windows asking how everything went (nice touch) and when I mentioned that the screen seemed a bit flimsy (since I did go with the basic version) owner offered to give me another screen as a replacement and/or backup! Cost was as advertised with $50 to haul away old door. Very pleased with price, install, product, and service!

This is a review for the overall of experience of what I went through. Although, I can't give them a A rating I can't give them a F rating either. Doug came over and gave us the estimate for 3 doors and 4 windows replacement. He came on time and was professional at the initial meeting. We had 2 other estimates that was around the ball park of his estimate and one was a little bit cheaper. I advised Doug of this and he was able to match and give us better quality doors. So we went with Doug's bid for this project. The whole project took 2 days to be completed which was expected. His installers came on time and started the project. Although, when taking out the old doors and windows some of the drywall was damage but they were able to cover them up. This happened as well on the windows, the molding was damage but they were able to glue it back in place. I understand that this might happen during the installation process, but they could have been more careful. We also had a storm door replaced but did not lock or latch in place. Doug did order a new one to place the current model but took a a few weeks to get in. Second, the main door did not latch smoothly as the others as well. He did have the installers addressed those two issues. Lastly, during the window installation we noticed that there were all kinds of black scruff marks on our siding that were very noticeable. When I advised Doug of this, the installers denied it was them who made them. The did use ladders pressed against the siding so it could have caused the marks. At this point, I was not going to argue or place the blame on them since I did not see it myself. However, I know it was not there when they started the work. Doug came over and did try to remove the stains his self and for the most part it came out. In conclusion, it was not the installation I've hoped for with the new doors and windows, but Doug was able to fix and addressed all the issues we were having. With that said, at least Doug is a man of his word and will try to resolve any issues with his company.

Doug replied promptly, came out on his own and looked at my property and gave me the best quote of the three installers I contacted (one did not respond). He installed the gutter as specified in one day and followed up afterwards. He allowed me to charge the job. Everything weas satisfactory and professional. I would recommend his company to anyone.

I had a very positive experience with this company. The owner, Doug Conner, and his assistant Mindy, were both very responsive and answered all of my questions, including during the selection process. After discussion with Doug, we decided on a new Polaris entry door and sidelites, and we are very pleased with the finished product. (A picture is attached.) Front doors are very expensive, but Kelly and his assistant did a great job with the installation, and I'm pleased to say that after a couple of cold and windy days, there has been no draft at the front door.

Doug was fantastic he had the work done in a timely manner for a fair price. I had other contractors including large companies and the prices they gave while high and some never sent me an estimate I would highly recommend Doug for any siding all windows that you need

From my first contact with Doug, he was attentive to my needs and took the time with me and my wife to ensure he understood what we wanted done. Doug was sure to contact his installers to make sure he didn’t give us any bad information, to ensure the job could be done the exact way we talked about. He spent extra time with us to make sure we picked out the products and colors we wanted. Doug explained the whole process, in detail, and made sure we understood exactly what we were getting for our money. I received several quotes for this job and Doug was the only one who actually put in the time. Choosing Universal Windows Direct was a no-brainer for my wife and me. On installation day the installers showed up on time and went right to work. The installer made sure I knew exactly what was going on and answered any questions I had. I am very happy with the way the entire process played out and I’m impressed with my new door and windows. True professionalism all around and I will be sure to make Universal Windows Direct my first call when I'm ready to replace my sliding back door.
