Tom S. gave me a detailed diagnosis of the problems and estimate of the repair cost. The estimate was reasonable for the problems, and In view of the age and cost of a new refrigerator, I decided not to proceed with the repairs. Tom was knowledgeable and helpful. He called ahead to see if he could come sooner than the scheduled time.

Great - Donald was prompt, professional, he explained everything clearly.

During the first visit, Jeremy the tech diagnosed the problem (correctly!), and ordered parts. He cautioned us that we would need to fully defrost 48 hours ahead of his next visit. As the freezer still worked and we were able to purchase ice, we were not too inconvenienced. They called to schedule the next visit, we defrosted as instructed and when Tech Jeremy arrived, the repairs went smoothly. The refrigerator works just fine. I fully recommend both Tech Jeremy and Appliance Master.

!!!SCAMMER ALERT!!! Let me start off by saying initially I had high expectations for this company unfortunately when the technician left my home is when things started to go awry. The company was quick to get somebody out to my home the technician was presentable and professional... Unfortunately that’s where all the good things I have to say about this company stop initially the technician came out to my home for a stuck ice bucket in a 10 year old side by side, mind you the ice machine still worked and produced ice just fine it was the bucket that was re-inserted incorrectly during a family gathering. Initially the technician thought it could possibly be frozen together although I explained to him I did not believe that was the case, as I have tried several times to remove it myself even pouring hot water down the ice bucket. so first off he started utilizing a steamer to melt any ice potentially holding the ice bucket to the freezer. Tugging and yanking on the ice bucket in between each attempt then there was a cracking sound and after that he gave up and then proceeded to give me his diagnosis, unfortunately the diagnosis was the ice bucket could not be saved and needed to be removed by force ( total destruction of the current ice bucket) basically keep destroying things until he was able to get it out. When the steam failed the technician started writing a quote for several hundred dollars actually around $700 to be exact, claiming any parts he didn’t need he would send back and they would refund me. At this point alarm bells were going off in my head and I decided to start googling new side by side refrigerator freezers seeing that I could get a new for less than $1500 it made no sense to me to spend $700 repairing a 10-year-old unit. so once the technician had left my home fearing that I had nothing to lose and already assuming I was going to buy a new unit I decided to attempt to pull it out one more time a little more aggressively. I got a ratcheting tiedowns strap and looped one end of the steel loop through the auger and the other end of the strap wrapped around the side of auger and gave it one stiff tug up not out like everyone had been trying to do previously. To my surprise the ice bucket came out completely intact, undamaged and revealing what the problem was, You can clearly see in the indentations in the plastic where a metal bar of the ice bucket had dug into the plastic inside the freezer door. Once I got the bucket out I looked at the bucket to make sure there was no damage realigned the auger and was able to re-insert and remove the existing ice bucket with zero problems. VOILÀ ICE BUCKET FIXED, NO THANKS TO APPLIANCE MASTERS

I was grateful that the tech could provide such a simple fix for my oven problem. He told me that I should keep an eye on it, and if there were further problems to call back within 30 days and there would not be a service call fee. So far so good!

4 visits over two weeks to repair. Kept needing parts.

The price for parts and repairs are insane, making 'replacement' the typical choice even with a 9 yo refrigerator! IF repairs were more reasonable, then repairs would be opted for.

He was very thorough, professional and transparent. He let us know what the cost would be for parts and the reality of owning an older appliance.

The tech was a no show twice. This was a total waste of my valuable time. I waited 3 hours one day and got a call from his office saying he had an emergency. I scheduled it for 9 am the following morning. At 10am I call his office and was told he never got the message on his iPad. Hopefully, this is not an example of how Angie's List appliance repair contractors treat their customers.

Just paid 100.00 for them to come out and tell me what was wrong with units and they wanted 309.00 total to complete the repair.....I fixed for 18.00 bucks and 30mins of my own time

The service representative was very professional and pleasant.

It might live another two-three-four years.

Our service man was fantastic! He was polite, professional and very sweet. The part took longer than expected and the repair itself happen a week and a half later. I wish it had been sooner as we work somewhere were we use the washer and dryer all day, every day. Being without it for so long was stressful. But we will absolutely be using Appliance Master in the future.

I was not informed of the service fee. They need to be upfront about that and it was not communicated to me. Otherwise he was very professional and obviously knew what he was doing.

Don was my tec. we had a 5min. conversation on problem he went to work , found problem approx. 45 min.- 1hour he was leaving. On a personal note I used appliance master in my home for repair on washer and drier .

Abe the technician was prompt, knowledgeable about equipment and great at problem solving even before he started working. He was careful in our kitchen. He explained everything he was doing and why. Problem solved. Even worked us through charges. Will keep this companies appliance magnet on fridge and share with others.

Troubleshooting was required, as the repair entailed more than just replacing a defective heating element. The technician diagnosed the underlying problem (bad circuit board), ordered the replacement, and repaired the range (after the part was delivered) very quickly.

Very well, technician came on time and quickly solved the problem.

Service was done efficiently and neatly. We have used Appliance Master before and would use again for repairs. Highly recommended.

Technician was wonderful - quickly diagnosed problem, ordered part immediately and returned as soon as part arrived. He is VERY good at what he does, clearly explained the situation - he is a technical surgeon!

Jeremy is awesome, energetic and performed his task with the utmost professionalism. The company is prompt, courteous and understood quickly what needed to be done.

The service technician was very thorough and professional in reviewing the problem for us and explaining what needed to be done. He ordered the parts that we'll need and told us what the exact cost would be and the timeframe involved. He showed up on time and also showed us how to clean the filter in the bottom of the machine through which the water drains, which we were not aware of previously. Overall, we were very pleased with the service provided. We have used Appliance Master before and will continue to do so, and can recommend them to others without reservation. It's also nice that when you call them, you actually get a human being on the line without having to push several phone keys first.

The technician said it would cost 375 dollars since our stove was a higher end unit. I said that it needed to be fixed so go ahead... he returned from his van with a generic igniter that I later priced on line for 18 dollars... a fifteen minute repair cost us about 400 dollars... gouging? I think so!

As always, Appliance Master provides excellent response and service.

This is the first time we used Appliance Master, and we're really impressed! The person I spoke to first, on the phone, was perfect - professional but friendly. Our schedule didn't quite match their availability, but she made it work on their end. Their rep (Jerome) showed up as scheduled, analyzed the problem, ordered the required part and came back to install the part, all with no hassles. He was also professional and friendly. I see they have great ratings, and they deserve them! He did an equally professional job on the dryer vent.
