Appliance Master

Great! The technician came out promptly as scheduled and diagnosed what was wrong. He placed the order for the part and then came back to install it when the part came in. He was professional, thorough and prompt. I would hire Appliance Master again!

It was good. I have had Appliance Master?out several times and I always happy with their service. I always use them.

Greg arrived promptly, was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem immediately, then performed the required repair. Excellent service - would certainly hire again.

Thanks to Viking's extremely expensive parts (three igniters needed replacement) it cost $855. The Appliance Master technician was very knowledgeable and efficient. In the end, the oven worked just fine. But the broiler still didn't work. So I called AM and the same technician returned. He ended up taking much of the stove apart and spending over an hour on the phone with Viking technicians... only to discover that the thermostat had overheated and the wires had become fused. He suggested getting a new thermostat (another $550), but neither he nor the Viking people could guarantee that would solve the problem. Since I never used the broiler, I figured enough was enough. It wasn't worth it. At least the oven was working! And at least I didn't have to pay any extra. And I've moved since the work was done. At least the new owners have a working oven that I paid for!

Everything went well. This is my second time using Appliance Masters. They were able to schedule an appointment quickly after I called, and sent me a confirmation as well as a picture of the technician who would be coming out. He came within the window they gave me, and was quick to identify the problem we were having, and gave an accurate assessment of the time and cost of the final repair. He will be coming back in a couple of days to install the part. I am very happy with the service and recommend them with no hesitation.

The repair went well on 7/10/15 and I paid $361.04. The same problem occurred in March, 2016. (noise when running) A friend of mine, not an appliance repair person looked at it. The dryer did not have to be moved. Screws had to be removed and front panel came off. In the lower left front was the blower wheel. He saw it was cracked. He said it looked like it had never been replaced. He went on line and found the part, blower wheel with retainer pin for $15.13. I ordered the part on 4/22/16. The website, Appliance Parts Pros.com, shipped the part the next day. Their information about the repair said, "Repair time 15 minutes". He put the new blower wheel in less than a half hour, by himself, and the dryer has been running great since. I called the company on 5/3/16 to discuss the initial repair that they charged me $361.04. I emailed a copy of their bill and the invoice I paid for the new Blower Wheel for $15.13. I called again on 5/18/16. To date, I have not received any response frpm Appliance Master.

He informed us that the cost of the part (motor), plus the labor to replace it was almost the cost of a new dryer. He then recommend a brand that was a commercial grade, 5 year warranty that cost less than the Samsung. That is an honesty most companies don't have.

Responded same day, arrived on time, and fixed the problem.

The technician was competent and kind. A good experience all-around.

I left them an email on Sunday and they contacted me first thing Monday morning. The washing machine was fixed and running by 2:00 PM that day. (I was lucky that they had the correct replacement pump on the truck.) The repairman was very professional and friendly. I could not be happier. I know who I will be calling the next time I have an appliance break down.

Tech had parts on truck and took no more than 30 minutes!

Tech was late, gave us the wrong information, installed gasket backwards, couldn't close refrigerator, insisted on payment. When we said the work was not acceptable, became very unpleasant.

Greg came out to fix our Miele dishwasher, which I assumed we'd have to replace because it stopped draining and is about ten years old. He patiently explained the issues and possible solutions as he worked, appraised me of the likely cost of a new pump (which, being Miele, was exorbitant) and then took the time to find a tiny piece of broken glass stuck beneath the pump. He removed several layers of intimidating-looking paraphernalia beneath the filter and very carefully combed through every single thing to look for a culprit. A lesser technician would have given up after 20 minutes and charged me $600 for a new pump. After he solved the drainage problem and instructed me on cleaning the unit with vinegar, I found the dishwasher no longer cleaned effectively. So he came back again a few days later for free, even though I now had a different problem than what I originally called about, and he spent another 45 minutes painstakingly cleaning out hard-to-reach holes and tubing that clogged when the pump stopped working earlier. Greg was remarkably focused and precise, broadly knowledgeable, and when I asked him if he could recommend a replacement model should this one eventually fail, he was a wealth of information. I couldn't recommend him higher.

Shane, the technician, was very knowledgeable and professional. Ordered the new part, an igniter, it was here promptly as was the return visit to install it. I thought subsequently we were having a problem with the convection setting. Shane again was the tech, and checked everything out and found that the new igniter actually delayed the start of the convection fan as was appropriate. Bottom line was there was no problem. Amazing thing is they did not charge for the visit and the diagnostics. Very unique.

Very pleased when we called Appliance Master, they were able to schedule us for the next day. Tom S. came in the early part of the designated time. He explained as he went along to find the problem. When he removed the igniter, he showed us the signs of the wear and tear and compared it to the new one,he was installing. He took the time to answere our questions. He was friendly, courteous and professional. We would ask for him again if we need an appliance repair.

Of course, I felt like an idiot but Dave couldn't have been nicer.

They were very good. They were on time. They didn't take long on the parts that I needed.

In two out of three visits everything was uneventful, they inspected the appliance, provided an estimate of cost to repair, and then did the repair in a professional, timely manner. But for the microwave visit, the Appliance Master rep inspected the appliance and recommended that we not perform the repair that was needed and, instead, buy a new microwave. We paid for the service call. Note that Appliance Master had no interest in selling us a new appliance, only in taking the most economical approach. When we need appliance service we call Appliance Master.

It always went well. They arrive on time, are pleasant and knowledgeable. They fix the problem and always explain what the problem is and what needs to be done. I have used them multiple times and will use them again. I would highly recommend them.

I was referred to Appliance Master because they are certified to repair frigidaire products. I had a bad feeling about this company because they refused to give me a ballpark figure of how much it would cost to repair a dishwasher door spring while others gave me and estimate. I went against my better judgment because they could come sooner than the other companies. I told the person what the problem was and that I needed to have the door spring replaced. The repair man Abe comes in and takes a look. He finds that the springs are broken and need to be replaced. He tells me that he has to go out to his truck and that he and quot;hopesand quot; he has the replacement spring. He comes back and says that he does not have it and that I will have to pay him for the visit and a deposit on the part so he can order it. I specifically told the company that I need the springs replaced so WHY do they not have the part to fix the appliance? I pay him the deposit after questioning him about not having the part and the deposit and received a rude and quot;what don't you understand about the deposit?and quot;. We did not appreciate his unprofessional attitude. He says that the part should be in within 2-3 days and they will call to schedule a time for someone to come out again (totally defeating the original reason I went with this company for the repair). I never get a call from the company period. I had to call twice to find out if the part was ordered, if it came in and to schedule another appointment. Abe comes again and acts like he is in a rush. He brushes past me when I open the door, rushes into the kitchen without waiting for me and then throws down his stuff. After this 5 minute job is done, he re-anchors the dishwasher to the counter and asks me to check the door to make sure it is fixed. I notice that the door is loose on the right side. He unscrews the dishwasher from the counter and cannot figure out what was wrong with the door. So he tells me that there is nothing he can do about it other than replace the hinge (even though the hinge is clearly not broken). So I say never mind and then he pushes the dishwasher back in but the insulation is sticking out. I ask if that has to be pushed in and he rolls his eyes at me and pulls the dishwasher out again and pushes the insulation in. I will NEVER use this company again for a repair. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt after the first day fiasco of not having the part I specifically said I needed. But after the attitude problem and eye rolling Abe came rushing into my house as if we were friends; I cannot recommend this company to ANYONE.

I call, and I know that Tom is the guy who usually comes, and I have done some things, like he put in a new ice cube maker, and I put the tray in backwards as he is driving out, and broke it again, and called him while he was still on the road. He gets the part and gets it done. He tells us that the sub zero is 24 years old, and he can still find parts for it, so we should stick with it.
