Description of Work: Because this is a gutter service, the recent storms in the atlanta area have render them unavailable to deliver the purchased window cleaning service in a timely manor. They recommended I contact Angie's list for a refund.

Description of Work: Hi, I purchased a $100 deal for window cleaning. I called before purchasing to see how many windows were in the deal because I did not want any surprises. They told me 20. When they arrived to do the cleaning they said that each window actually counted as two and that to clean my entire house would be and EXTRA $228.00. When I was shocked the guy said this happens all the time and that I could just reschedule when I decide what to do. Since I don't want to have half my windows clean and I also don't want to spend a total of over $300 on this project, I am requesting a refund. Thank you.

Description of Work: Last date of contact was May 17. Originally they were supposed to come out and clean our windows some time in late April or early May - I have forgotten the exact date. That day it was pouring, so they went around the house and looked at all the windows and told me that since we had storm windows, each window counted for 2 windows. Our voucher was for 16 windows cleaned, and we had total of 56 windows. I said fine. They left and the company contacted us to come out on May 17. That day the van pulled up, a nice young man got out and walked onto my porch, looked at one of the windows and said, "I don't know how to do storm windows but I can try". I said ,"What about your assistant?" He said, "Oh, he's brand new". I said that I preferred he not touch our windows since he obviously did not have the expertise to even figure out how to take them apart. He said, "No problem. There is a guy who does storm windows and I will make sure he is scheduled for this job". It is now May 31 and the company has yet to contact me about the window cleaning. I am very ill-at-ease about them doing the windows since they seem totally clueless about window cleaning in general and storm windows in particular. We have a home that is 3 levels tall in the back, and I am wary of an inexperienced bunch of cleaners on ladders dealing with this.

Description of Work: Pressure washing of entire house. The team arrived on time and were very professional and polite. Finished the job quickly and left my home looking beautiful ! Could not have asked for a better team of men.

Description of Work: They cleaned out my gutters. Can't remember the price. Maybe $79? They got up on the roof, rather than on ladders, of my 2-story house. I cannot see the gutters but watched them, and they seemed to do a good job. I would have given them a top rating except for one thing: They found a clogged drainpipe connected to a downspout. They did not clean out that drainpipe. Not sure if they are supposed to do that or not, but I would certainly have appreciated it.

Unfortunately because Angie's List sold so many they became overwhelmed with work and couldn't fulfill the dates I needed for my daughter's graduation party May 18. They said normally I called far enough in advance but that all spaces had been filled with other coupon users before the May 18 date. I was excited to try them and might again in the future. Lesson learned....to schedule WAY AHEAD next time.
