Response from Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning
In regards to this review, I'm surprised that we don't have 3 million of these F reviews. There are literally 3 million people in Atlanta who we have never contacted about gutter cleaning. If this is what warrants an F, then we deserve one 3 million times. In all seriousness, I have no idea what this is about. The customer bought a deal, but never contacted us about scheduling. Deals are good for a significant period of time, so we don't decide when to schedule the deal, we let the customer decide, which is their right. Anyone who wants to schedule need only pick up a phone, dial 9 numbers, and reach our office. Or, they can send us an email, or, in the case of an Angie's List deal, there is a form one can fill out online that automatically sets you up for service. We received an email on November 21st from Angie's List about this customer claiming they were having trouble reaching us. At that time, I tried our phones 3 times, which were working, so I replied back with the same info I put here, including an email address to boot. I'm not sure if the customer got buyer's remorse and was just trying to make it seem like they were trying to reach us but couldn't, but this customer never, ever, ever, ever made an attempt to contact us about scheduling. We are not psychic, and cannot predict or know which people we should contact when without any proper notification. To use an example, if you buy a gift card at Walmart for Itunes, or Applebees, or Starbucks, Starbucks doesn't randomly call you and say, "Hey, are you thirsty yet?" The customer bought a discounted service, basically a gift certificate, to use within a significant range of time. For the amount of people who buys these and use them with us, we don't have the man power to call each and every person to see when they want to be done, we have to rely on them contacting us, which is how it is done with any company and a deal purchase. To unsolicitedly contact a customer who purchased a deal to hound them on getting it done would be rude and obnoxious, and would lead to a lot for F ratings.
