Solar Living installed solar panels for my above ground pool in 2014 with such a short season to use the pool these panels extended the season from 3 months to 5 months. I can now open my pool in May with a water temperature of 56 degrees and be swimming in it 2 days later (I do not swim in cold water) that is how fast these panels work.. We recently heard a banging on the roof during high winds and thought it might be one of the panels loose. We called Solar Living and they were at my door the next morning before 9:00am to check the panels. I was very impressed since they were coming from Fair Lawn and I live at the Jersey Shore! They checked everything on the roof and made sure all the straps were in tact. Everything was as it is supposed to be, my warranty had expired and they didn't charge me for the visit. Love my panels, Love these guys!

Solar Living installed a solar panel pool heating system this May in a previously unheated pool that was too cold to enjoy even in the height of summer. The pool opened at 56 degrees, the panels were installed and ten days later the water was 86! Solar living came out to our house and suggested putting the panels on a custom-built rack to the back of the pool in a unused sloping part of the yard. They were careful to construct the rack so it would not be seen from the pool area. We are beyond thrilled that we can swim by Memorial Day in northern NJ. After researching various pool heating types, solar made sense for us - little to no cost to run and Eco-friendly.

Solar Living installed my solar hot water solar system 4 years ago. They installed it in 2 days and it has worked perfectly ever since. I recently noticed a very small amount of water that appeared to be coming from one of the pipes that feed into my solar tank. I called Solar Living and they were able to send someone to my home very quickly. The agent from Solar Living arrived punctually and also called beforehand to let me know exactly what time he would arrive at my home. He very diligently checked all of the pipes and cleaned them and then showed me what he had done. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the solar system- just some condensation. I would recommend Solar Living to anyone who is thinking of converting their hot water system from fossil fuel-heated to solar heated. In the 4 years I have had my solar system, I have saved thousands of dollars and have greatly reduced the use of propane for my home.

They came out and gave great detail why their prices were better which also included their service. When we do go solar I will be using them. They were very knowledgeable.

The hot water heater that is attached to the circulator was leaking water and needed to be replaced. I felt Solar Living did a good job. They were able to get the new tank and install it in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. We had a minor glitch that caused us to reschedule, but it was an issue with an employee's spouse being sick, so I don't hold it against the company. The guys were very nice and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly, explained what they did, and what to watch for in the future. I would use them again.

The system has been working great for us this past summer with out a hitch! The kids love it, we love it and best of all my son learned how to swim with out floats. He never wanted to get out of the pool it was so warm! I get temperature's up to 90 and average out at about 85! I have received many compliments from guests and am now an advocate of solar heating for any pool! Aggressive tele-marketing department is making this company a big turn-off for me.

I reached out to Mike at Solar living based on their high reputation and from the very first visit for the quote I was impressed with his professionalism. When it came to the actual installation the job was done on time and well. I was able to talk to Mike and get information that I needed and feel confident that he know what he is doing. I had some nagging issues with solar controller (not installations fault) but Mike and Ethan tried to work with me to resolve them. They even gave me a new controller for free just to help solve the problem. Overall I can really recommend them for either electric or pool solar. They seem to know a lot about both

I am a very satisfied 2nd generation customer. Solar Living installed a swimming pool heating system for my fathers home in the late 1970s and later added a system for domestic hot water. I purchased the home prior to my fathers death and have continued to use Solar Living. They have replaced the roof panels for the swimming pool and replaced and serviced the tank and system for domestic hot water. They are often busy during the summer months so it may take a few weeks to schedule service, but they are worth waiting for. Today they arrived on time, accurately diagnosed problems with a few system components, and were able to complete all necessary repairs, as well as some work that will save time and money in the event of future repair needs, within just over an hour.

Owner came out to check the valve on the system they installed almost ten years ago. Just a settling that needed to be adjusted, done for no charge. This system after ten years is still the best purchase I have ever made for my home. For the cost of a gas heater and one years use we have enjoyed our pool from mid April to as late as a Halloween pool party.

These gentlemen were friendly, highly knowledgeable, informative and open to all questions, completely self-sufficient (all I did was provide water!), and 100% professional. My husband arranged all business via phone and email, and he found the guys to be highly responsive and thorough. I was here for the actual project on the roof and ground. From my perspective, the job went flawlessly. We only gave the price a B because we didn't do much comparing and we feel even though it's a big investment, it is worth it with this company. A year ago we purchased a foreclosed home and our biggest nightmare was an in ground pool. The previous owners took almost all of the parts and hardware, it was a complete disaster. With the help of great local companies we've been able to slowly make the repairs. We thought the biggest issue was going to a missing part for the solar heating system. If you include our name please just use our first names or just Mr and Mrs Brown Thank goodness we contacted Solar Living, Inc. Mike worked with us and explained what was needed and how the job would be done. He came out to our home and gave us an estimate in a timely fashion and offered different options to resolve the problem. It has been such a pleasure to find a LOCAL business that is reasonably priced and ethical. There was an instance when he could have made additional money "off of us" but he didn't, Mike found an alternative and for that I am extremely grateful. We are novices to pool maintenance and have been cautious when hiring pool companies --we would totally recommend Solar Living for pool heating needs. This will be first sun that our family can "Capture the Sun" pool side!

These guys really know what they are doing. As a Chemical Engineer, I was versed on the elements of heat transfer, fluid flow, and control and would have known if they were trying to con me. They did not. They were very knowledgeable and very cleverly wired the installation to preserve the free outlet, pool light, booster pump and still not install a new breaker. Very impressive. I opened the pool the first week of May - very early for Northern NJ. The day after I opened, they were here at 8 am to complete the job. No problems at all. The water started at 55 F and went up 5 F the first day with little sunshine. Within a week, and one sunny day the 23,000 gal pool was up to 81 F. In the past we often did not reach that temperature more than once or twice in an entire summer. They were always here when expected, did what they said they would and the system works flawlessly so far.

The estimate was competitive and all of our questions were answered in a timely manner. Although we did not end up using Solar Living, Mike was very helpful. We could have flipped a coin over Solar Living and the company we ended up using.

Mike and his team installed our system last season and did a great job. They are very professional and took their time to explain the system to us. After installation they have been quick to respond to our calls and answer any questions we have. When we opened our pool this season, I left a message for Mike on Saturday and he was at our house Monday to check the system and make sure everything was working properly. I would highly recommend Solar Living.

The shape, size and heading of my roofline was not optimal, but Mike Mazzeo/Solar Living found a way to make it work. He was professional, neat and got the job done on time. I would gladly recommend Solar Living.

The gentlemen arrived as scheduled to install the panels. The installation went smoothly, and was completed in in about 41/2 hrs. They were friendly and courteous throughout the process and were very accommodating as they came back 3 weeks later and pulled the piping off our garage so we could get siding put on. They came back 5 days later to re-pipe the system. Their references were checked and all had positive feedback. We would certainly recommend them to anyone to install the solar heating system to their pool.
