Description of Work: They resurfaced (Stucco) our existing chimney and coated the inside to meet current fire safety standards They were efficient and cleaned up after themselves when work was complete. They were late the first day, but prompt every other day (they were here for 5 days)

Description of Work: We were on vacation in Europe when our tenants reported no heat. It turned out that a tree was growing into the chimney and had tripped the carbon dioxide sensor which shut off the gas heat. Even though it was a weekend, Davis rebuilt the chimney for us.

Description of Work: Performed extensive repairs to fireplace and chimney. Excellent work. All was as promised. Davis brothers are true craftsmen and we were delighted with finished project. Additionally, they were always respectful of our home and family.

Description of Work: Addendum to original review 2012 Late last summer Davis Brothers rebuilt my chimney that had been damaged by a storm. I used the coupon from this site and also qualified for a senior discount as well. About a month ago I noticed the white stucco was extremely dirty, from the oil burner, which I had cleaned. I called Davis Brothers and asked how to best clean the stucco. I didn't receive a call back, as promised to I called again. I was told the chimney caps they were using at the time of my repair were causing the chimneys to get dirty due to a chemical reaction between the fumes and material used in the caps and they were no longer using those caps. They said they would replace the cap and paint the chimney, free of charge. I'm still waiting to hear from them. Actually I've decided to fix the problem myself. I'm very disappointed in their poor response to my questions, having to make several calls and still waiting for response. I have another chimney and if I ever need any service for it I'll definitely be finding a business that responds in a more professional manner.
