Marco has done quite a few small jobs and some larger ones to get this house ready to go on the market. thanks to him, the house looks well maintained & in great shape.

I had initially engaged Cape Atlantic to make repairs to a popcorn ceiling, as well as repaint it. Due to extenuating circumstances on my part, there were a couple of delays in performing the work. They were extremely flexible and responsive in handling these changes. Trying to match a large section of popcorn ceiling is not easy. Marco worked hard to make sure that it looked good. He was very concerned that I was satisfied with the work. He took great care to minimize the dust and to clean up thoroughly after each day. Although I had planned to repaint the house next year, I was so pleased with Marco's work, I asked him to paint the rest of the house. He did a great job. I thought that his prices were reasonable. He was very professional...always responsive and return calls timely. I would use him again and I would highly recommend him. In fact, I have given his name to several of my neighbors.

It was clean & neat. He kept very tight lines and the painting & carpentry quality was excellent throughout.

It was such an easy process for me. Marco and I communicated alot by email which made things go very smoothly.

Cape Atlantic Home Improvements came out the same day right after the hurricane to look at the roof. They fixed the roof.

Marco came for an initial visit to provide an estimate and additional information. The job was scheduled for 3 days and almost a month away due to the recent storm activity. Marco arrived on time all 3 days. My tile supplier initially told me that the tile would be difficult to lay on the diagonal, but Marco assured me he could. The finished project is better than expected. These are the reasons I hired Marco and then rehired him for a second project: 1. Attitude - He is courteous and professional. He will hear all complaints/crazy concerns and put you at ease. 2. Tidy - Marco arrives on time. He is very quiet. He is unbelievable neat and tidy. When he left for the day, he would rearrange everything back to where it was, sweep up, and minimize the interference in our daily lives. 3. Comfort - Marco is the type of employee who you would feel comfortable giving him your key and allowing him to be there when you are not home. That's the person I would like to have in my home and give my hard earned money to.

Went very well and he got back to us right away, set up the appointment and showed up right on time.

Marco is very busy during the summer but does get around to returning calls and emails....usually after hours. He was punctual and his work was very professional. I will use him for all handyman services.

He did what he could do, but he wasn't able to do some of the work because the wood was rotted under our deck. We needed more extensive work done, but he was honest. He was on time, and I appreciate that, and he was a very nice guy!

When Marco sent his proposal it was very professional. I had a previous extimate and when it was received it was just a list of the jobs and the toatl cost. Marco broke it down, as to how much for the supplies and how much the labor would be. Excellant!!! Due to the storm the end of June, and no phone service he didn't get started right away. I was not in any hurry so time was not a factor. The wood for my outside took a few weeks to get , due to the fact it was special ordered, again not his fault. He worked long days, and was very neat. I did not have a problem leaving my house while he was there. Where the air condiontioner was in our wall, you cannot tell at all, it blends in so nicely, he did a great job. I'm trying to find more things that I want done, because I will surely call Marco!!!

Marco was easy to contact and work with. He provided an estimate and came in on budget. We had additional items we wanted him to add in and best of all, he didn't try to overcharge us on the additional work just because he had the job. Additionally, he'll work with your spec as to paint type and doesn't play the substitution game.

I do not know yet if I am going to use them because I have not heard back from them yet. It is kind of ambivalence at this point because I have not heard back from anybody but if I hear back from them then I can better judge if I would use them or not.

I had purchased a wooden mantel for my fireplace. Installing a cleat is a basic job which I can do myself; however, the mantel was just slightly too small for the floor moulding and hearth. This required notching and some very minor alterations. I was concerned I would ruin the fireplace myself. Then came Marco from Cape Atlantic. He returned my initial call and came quickly out. He understood exactly what needed to be done. Marco emailed me within 2 business days to let me know the estimate, which was in the range I expected to pay. I responded by email to to schedule. Several days went by without a call or email. I took the chance to email him again. Within a few hours I received an apology and that somehow my email did not properly send and was stuck in his draft folder. I completely believed him and it does happen. He confirmed a date and arrived about 20 minutes late but did call to notify. Marco worked diligently and politely. He and his worker had the work done quickly and correctly. I appreciated his attention to detail and asking for my approval along the way to insure my satisfaction. He cleaned up nicely. I am very happy with his attitude and work product. Marco was very nice to work with. I would recommend him again. When the tile for my fireplace arrives, I will call Marco back to install that as well. I will add another review on his tile work in time.

Cape Atlantic came out and met with us and went over the work we requested and provided us with a detailed estimate. Their price was very reasonable and they did the work when they said they would. The communication from them was excellent, in fact the best of any contractor we ever used, they anwered all our questions etc. I highly recommend them and would gladly use them again. They painted the exterior of our home in Ocean City and it looks great. Outstanding work!!

Excellent. Marko was good with communicating with us from the start. He came out and followed up promptly with written estimates. He accommodate our tight deadline and worked with us when we asked him to do add'l work at the last minute. I am certain that we will use him again as we decide on add'l projects for our new second home.

We have to be very particular in hiring contractors since the work we were doing was for our summer home, two hours south of our North Jersey primary residence. We cannot be onsite for every job and it is important that the person we hire be dependable and trustworthy in addition to having excellent trade skills AND communication skills. Everytime I have depended on Angie's list for recommendations, it has never failed me! For this job, my husband and I wanted to update our existing ceramic tile backsplash in the kitchen with a more modern glass tile. We interviewed several contractors that were recommended by the tile store but ultimately went to Angie's List and settled on Marco Smigliani/Cape Atlantic. We were impressed with his quick response time in returning calls and emails and unlike a lot of other contractors in the Cape May area, he showed up when he said he would. I consider myself pretty demanding and really put Marco through the wringer in our first meeting. To his credit, not only was he polite and respectful, he seemed to understand where I was coming from and allayed any fears I had about not being onsite. I loved that he was patient with my questions and walked me through everything that would be done. The work was done beautifully, neatly and I am SO pleased that we chose Marco. We are receiving SO many compliments! He went above and beyond in my opinion. Even when he told us he needed more tile (our fault), and could not complete the stripe under the bar, he made himself available to finish the work quickly when the tile came in. He even touched up some paint that had been chipped when painter's tape was removed. He kept me informed every step of the way and continued to send me pictures via cellphone. I loved that he is tech savvy and used his cellphone to communicate quickly and effectively! We highly recommend Marco's services. I am so impressed with this young man and we will definitely use him again when it is time to redo our master bath.

This is the third time I've used this company .. that's how impressed I am with them. This time I had a tile back splash placed in my kitchen. Marco showed up on time as usual .. did the job impeccably .. as usual. I've also used Marco for interior painting, floor tiling and some minor house repairs. Cape Atlantic Home Repairs is now my go to company for all my household projects.

It was an absolutely beautiful job. It was nice, neat, and Marco T Smigliani took his time to ensure the quality of the floor. Overall, he did a great job and the price was fair for the amount of work that was done. I was very pleased with his work.

I can't say enough good things about Cape Atlantic. Mr. Smiglani returned all of our calls promptly and provided timely estimates that were reasonably priced. He always arrived when promised and was on time. He went out of his way to keep us informed of the progress he was making while doing the work. He was very easy to work with and flexible in planning and payment schedule. But the best thing about him was the quality of his work. The carpentry repairs were excellent. He was very careful in making sure all of his work was done to a high standard. Both family and visitors remarked on the craftsman-like quality of his work. For example we could not tell where the old vent holes had been in our porch ceiling. He also repaired corresponding vent openings high on the external wall of the house including carving, painting and attaching matching dental/wedge trim pieces so that we could not tell where the original vent openings had been. He also did a fine job expanding, realigning and matching a paving block sidewalk leading from the driveway to our outdoor shower. He stayed long hours to finish the work and quietly and efficiently went about his business. It was a real pleasure to work with him. Ne earns our highest recommendation.
