Marco Smigliani, owner, provided a timely estimate for tiling the kitchen floor and back-splash. I had pre-purchased floor tile on site. After I agreed to the price he amended his bid in an e mail stating he assumed I would be paying an additional $450 for materials. This actually brought him closer to a much more experienced, competing bidder whom I had declined thinking I was comparing apples with apples. He showed up as promised and worked on the project for 5 days straight, including nights and the weekend. He spent Thurs and Fri removing the existing sub-flooring and installing the new sub-floor, working until 1 am to ready the floor for for his subcontractor, who was only available after usual working hrs and weekends. He removed all debris to the dump as well as some additional items for an extra $80. He and the subcontractor returned Fri night to nail down the sub floor and lay out the tile pattern. They returned late Saturday afternoon and worked til 11pm laying 1/2 the floor and leaving a path to navigate through the kitchen. They finished laying floor tile Sunday and grouted the tile Monday. The subcontractor had mentioned a tile special for a glass back-splash and offered to bring a sample which I liked. He had brought enough for the job and put it up immediately. On Tues, they grouted the back splash.The dried grout on the floor was uneven in some areas requiring re-grouting. Marco re attached the trim and installed the transitions. He had misjudged the finished height of the floor In the kitchen, requiring the installation of edging around the base of the cabinets. Fortunately, we had some on hand. I was surprised at the amount of dust which was all through the house coating furniture, permeating carpets, lampshades, linens and upholstery. Doors left open to work areas just outside and air conditioning system contributed to circulating the dust. Hanging plastic barriers would have cut down on the dirt. An additional $200 was added to the final invoice because the sub-floor was more difficult to remove than expected; despite his response to my e mail assuring the bid included removing several layers of linoleum and wood. Both men worked steadily and diligently even if at inconvenient hours. I had agreed to a weekend schedule but the very late night hours were unexpected. I believe I did get good value for the money including the extra charges and feel the issues above were because of inexperience in tile work, estimating hours and bidding. In all, I am pleased with the completed job and would work with this conscientious contractor again. He'll learn from experience and he'll be getting better.

Contractor communicated regularly and was on time for all scheduled appointments. Very knowledgeable. On the day of the scheduled repairs the contractor showed up on time and had all required tolls and equipment needed. He went right to work and worked steadily until the job was completed.

They were wonderful and did a great job. They were very professional and did extra things without me even having to ask. He did additional work for me when I asked him do as well.

Prompt and professional with great results. Would rehire again.

Guys were great! Very meticulous, paid attention to detail, took pride in their work. Prices were excellent! We plan on having them back to complete more projects for us.
