From start to finish,it was a pleasure to work with Milano.They did this job on the hottest day of the summer,and took the time to do it right,I would use them again!

They did pretty good in the quoting process and also for the details, it's just that we don't have the budget for the quote right now and we will have the work done when we already have the budget for it; I don't have any complains for them.

The job went well.

They performed well, with weekly maintenance, and fall cleanups.They were professional and did a very good job.

It has been great.

Milano Contracting did drainage work for us - which we reviewed separately. This left the side yard barren (except for grass seed) and left the side of our house looking pretty naked. Milano Landscaping's Rudy gave us a suggested layout for plantings and was able to suggest appropriate plants and bushes for the area. He did the estimate while he was here. The landscaping crew came back on schedule and got everything cleaned up, planted all the new stuff, and cleaned up behind themselves. They added one more bush than the original plan becuase it didn't seem full enough without it. They left nice clear instructions on what to water and how long to water the various plants. I missed the planting event - but my husband said it went off without a hitch. They did a great job and it looks very nice. (I just hope it will all survive this major October snowstorm that we're having!!)

Getting the original estimate went very well. They were here for that promptly and within a day or two of calling them. Signing the contract and making the arrangements went well. We signed the contract in late July with an anticipated start date in August - depending on the weather. Unfortunately, August being the wettest on record put a major crimp in the scheduling. We found it difficult to get information on when the job could be started. Calls to the office invariably resulted in responses such as "I'll have to talk to ... about the scheduling." And that then did not result in a call back with any information. So, we waited and called and waited and called... Any kind of information on scheduling would have been better than that. All we wanted to know was "where are we on the list?" "Are we job 20 or job 2 for when the weather clears up?" We know they aren't in charge of the weather and I wasn't asking for miracles - just some idea of when it might be our turn. The wet August turned into a wet September and still the responses from the office weren't terribly helpful. But finally September started to dry out and on my last call they said they'd be here "the end of next week." On a Thursday morning - bright and early - they showed up and tried valiantly to get the trenching done. After much effort, some success, and at risk of getting their trenching machine stuck in the mud - they finally had to call a halt to the project. However the weather forecast had finally improved and they promised to return early the next week to finish the job after the ground dried out some. They were here the next week, as promised, and were able to get the job finished. The crew had to work around some obstacles on their return because we had a roofing project underway at the same time. Milano's guys had to wait for the roofing contractor to get their dumpster out of the driveway in order to get the deliveries of stones and topsoil up our driveway. But they did a fabulous job! The workmen were courteous, professional, polite - you name it. Rudy, the supervisor, was great to work with and explained everything that was done, and answered any questions I had. The clean up even included leaf blowing to fluff up the grass they squished with their equipment. And, since they'd used our neighbor's yard as a pass through for some of the stuff - they did his yard too! They seeded the topsoil, added fertilizer, and even gave us watering instructions for it! I have to say the new grass came up better than anytime I've tried to add grass seed to our lawn! I'd give the field crews an A+ and the experience of dealing with the office a C. Hence my B score for the overall experience. We were so satisfied with the results that we had Milano do some landscaping to fill in where we'd removed bushes, etc in anticipation of the drainage work. But that falls under their landscaping division and is probably another review...

They were very fast and efficient. The workers were very nice. They stuck with their original estimate and were reasonably priced compared to other quotes.

THEY'RE GOOD. THEY COME WHEN I CALL THEM OR SHORTLY THEREAFTER. THEY DO THE THINGS THAT I REQUEST, AND I DON'T HAVE TO CALL THEM AND HAVE THEM COME BACK OUT TO FIX SOMETHING.
