The job went well - both men who arrived were experienced plumbers. I have used them in the past and was pleased. However, I would have like to have known before the work was done. I also wasn't made aware of the cost of the faucet (which was about $140.00). The kitchen is old and putting in an expensive faucet was not something I had counted on. If I knew in advance, I would have purchased the faucet myself and have them do the installation. When I saw the invoice - I was surprised. I will know in the future to get a price before work is done.

Because the blockage happened on a Sunday afternoon, I was calling providers during off hours. Mike took my call and after informing me of the higher rates for weekend work, came directly to my house. His work was just about complete before another provider who I called first called me back. Mike checked the sewer pipe and cleaned it from its access in my garage. After cleaning and vacuuming out the pipe, which took just under an hour, everything worked as it was supposed to. I asked him about coupons on his site and he took $15 off his original quoted price of $307.50/hour (weekend rate) and lowered my charge to $292.50 plus tax. He was very professional and I would hire him again.

I found Ken's Plumbing through Angie's List website. I called over the weekend and was told to call during the week which I did the day before. They came to complete the job. It was very easy.

I had called my regular plumber first and he wasn't up to performing the work due the difficulty of working in such a confined space. He told me I would have to install a new line for the outdoor faucet. Mike was able to redo the pipe work in a very small space and did everything I had requested of him. Excellent work!

Office was very responsive and provide accurate cost estimate. Called with updates on timing (within the appointment window), team showed exactly when they were supposed to. Job was done professionally and quickly. Simple job but would def use again based on positive experience.

I discovered that the main sewer line was blocked on Wednesday evening. On Thursday morning, I contacted the company and told them that I needed a sewer line cleared, however, I had limited window of time when I was available to be home because of my work. The dispatcher worked with me, arranging the crew to come in when I could be home. They arrived a bit late, but within the window of time. The crew consisted of two guys who were very fast in setting up the snaking machine, and the whole job was finished in 20 minutes. They crew was friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. By Thursday midday, the clogged sewer was no more. I am very pleased with the responsiveness of the company, and will not hesitate to use them in the future.

I was thankful that they came out in les than 24 hours. I had a leak and a basin to contain the leak. They responded right away.

When I explained my situation to the receptionist, she arranged to have someone come to assess the situation within a couple of hours. The repair men were professional, pleasant. The work was done on the same visit and everything was explained. The final charge was very close to the estimate.... they even reminded me to use my Angie's list discount! Other companies estimates were 1.5 to 2 times what I was charged and several told me they couldn't do the work immediately because they needed special parts! Will definitely call them again if I have any plumbing needs.... but hopefully no time soon :-)

They were on time. Their office called and let me when know they were coming. Very polite office. They ran into a problem while doing the job and took care of it at no extra cost. They were very very neat and cleaned up nicely after them selves. Spotless after completion. Keep in mind we are talking the toilet here. I also got an estimate for them for some future work to install a toilet in the basement. Very good price. I am extremely pleased with the work and would use them again . I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY!

Great Service! From scheduling to task performance this company did an A+ job for us. We were in the inspection process of purchasing a home. It's an older home with quite a few trees on the small front property and decided it best to arrange for a sewer line inspection to check for root damage and/or cracks in pipe. We ended up scheduling the appointment 3 times because the homeowners were not sure where the clean out pipe was. The guys came out the first 2 times just to find out the clean out was not where the owners had thought it was, and did not charge us for coming out. By the 3rd appointment they were successful in completing the inspection only after having to clean out some roots (an extra cost at the homeowners expense). Unfortunately, I can not remember both their names, Paul was one of them, but they were well mannered, patient, professional, explained everything to both us and the homeowners, even had a good sense of humor. Will certainly call them, if needed, in the future.

From when I initially called they had a team at my house in about 30 minutes which was great considering I had called a few companies and I did not even get a call back until after the work was already completed. The guys who came by were very nice and professional, they definitely take pride in there work. I gave the price a B because I don't have anything to compare it to and im not sure it was expensive but it definitely didn't seem cheap but I don't have any regrets. It was 200 for the hour for the snaking plus the cost of the replacement cap on the main line and a total of 210 to replace the toilet water supply line valve and reseat the toilet.

The bathtub drain is still very slow . The tub is almost half full after taking the shower . The water drains very slowly even today.

We were going away for vacation and the handle of my toilet broke. A lot of companies were unavailable due to the holiday. Mike, who I spoke with advised as long as the chain did not under, it would be fine. He told me what to do over the phone and they later came and replaced the toilet completely. Jake, who came out did a very good job and was very nice.

They did all the work quickly and efficiently. They coordinated with our township to have somebody come out and shut off the water from the street to the house, which was necessary to replace the main water line valve in the house. They replaced it with a much better ball valve which can close completely with a quarter-turn of a handle.

The guys came on time, were really friendly and professional. There were two guys. A third came to drop off the new sink. The job took about 3-4 hours, just like the estimate. They were able to get the concrete sink out without breaking it into pieces, which saved some time. They took the old sink with them. They were proud of the job and took an 'after' picture of the sink when done. They aren't cheap, but did great work. I would use them again.

I called Ken's Plumbing and Drain Service after seeing them in the yellow pages and then looking them up on Angie's List. They were prompt, professional and neat. After the drain cleaning did not resolve a slow/clogged drain in the bathroom they cleaned that out as well. Overall very happy with the service, price was exactly what was discussed on the phone no surprises. I would definitely use them again.

water heater installed quickly and Went downstairs and saw lots of water in the utility closet. Could not find cause. Called Ken's plumbing. Problem solved new heater installed in short time.

After joining and researching Angie's List for this expensive plumbing work, contacted Ken's Plumbing and Drain Svc as 1 of 4 plumbers to call for an estimate regarding a water main repair. Initially we had the East Brunswick Water Authority come and check out the issue. This was done promptly. We called the emergency number provided in the blue pages of the local directory and someone was around to look at the leak. The Water Authority concluded that the leak was on our side and so we would have to pay for the repair. The leak was small and of a non emergency nature and there was no loss of pressure in the house. This allowed us time to get estimates and schedule the work. Ken's Plumbing and Drain Svc provided a responsive, punctual and professional estimate experience. The estimate was at the high end of those received. To repair the a section of the water main around the leak, the approximate cost was $2,850.00 and to replace the entire water service end to end was $4,450. A 50% up front deposit would be required. Permits included. Landscaping not included. 1 year warranty. Eventually went with company that was also at the high end of the estimates but specializes in underground utility work with minimal digging and ability to restore landscaping to a good standard. In light of experience, would be happy to call Ken's Plumbing and Drain Service for estimates on future plumbing work. Our thanks to Ken's Plumbing and Drain Service for their time and estimate.

We moved into a new home and after washing a ton of clothes, we had a problem with water draining. Called Ken's late Sunday night. They arrived on Monday morning and took care of the problem. Did an excellent job. The cost was less than we expected.

They were recommended by friends. They were good; they did the work.

I called him on a Saturday as our sink and toilets were not draining. I found him here on Angie's List and he had great reviews, and his page said 24 hour emergency plumbing service. I was told that because it was a saturday after hours it would be $217 an hour. I agreed to this high price as we had no kitchen sink and toilets we could use. He (believe his name was Mike) told me that he would get someone out. Well, i sat and waited, and waited, and waited. After a few hours i call several times only to get an answering machine or voice mailbox that was unable to even take messages as the mailbox was full. I tried calling again Sunday morning to see what happened only to get the same full voice mailbox. I finally got a call back around noon (said that he saw my number on his missed calls). After asking what happened i was told he couldn't get one of his guys out and that he could come out today (Sunday). At this point, i had already called someone else out. And seriously, if you can't get someone out, don't you think the customer should have received a phone call letting them know.
