He showed up on the agreed-upon day and time and accomplished replacing my old Jimmy Proof Dead Bolt with a new one in a timely fashion. Very knowledgeable and very professional. I would highly recommend him.

I called Jack in the morning and he was able to come out that afternoon to rekey the lock on the front door of the house we had just closed on. I was very happy that he was able to rekey and that we did not have to get a whole new lock/doorknob. Jack was a bit late but was very nice and apologetic about it. He threw in 2 extra keys for us because he was late, which was nice. I would use them again.

The first thing is that they answer the phone. I was told when to expect him and he came right on time. I was given a choice of materials to replace my existing (old, old, old) stuff and the work was done quickly and professionally. My printer was not working so I couldn't print out my Angie's List coupon but he gave me the discount anyway, which was nice of him.

Jack is a nice guy, very professional. Worked efficiently and carefully. A tad late, but called multiple times to let me know - not an issue at all. I will use him again. Accepts credit card.

Highly recommended. Jack was able to figure out the parts he needed quickly prior to coming. This was needed due to my specific Baldwin handleset requiring a certain special order. *Tip: If you're not completely sure of the hardware currently in use, Jack was able to receive a photo text message picture to decipher what was needed. Not long after we talked, Jack not only had everything working again, it was working much more smoothly than I have ever remembered it. On top of that, Jack was kind enough to offer advice to questions I had on other projects around the house. I highly recommend Jack (and will in fact to a good friend of mine), and would most definitely not hesitate to call again. Thanks so much Jack!

I joined A/L just to find a guy to solve this problem and was not disappointed. There's a reason Jack has high marks: honesty, integrity and knowledge. He brings distinction to the term "tradesman." He programed a new smart-key at the car which avoided having to tow the vehicle to the dealer or anywhere else. We went over the phone step-by-step what he was going to do; what it would cost; and what would happen (in terms of costs) if he were unable to program the new key, so going in it was known, in no uncertain terms, what was expected of both of us. He went to the dealership to pick up the new key and we met at the car on time. And in no time he was able to do what he promised. I should also say that after my initial call he took thirty minutes to research the problem to make certain that he could solve it with the equipment and procedures at his disposal. When he called back to say that he was very confident it would work I knew he was the right guy for the job. This job cost a lot because the smart key itself is expensive and the equipment he uses and their updates are pricey: but the cost is in line with what the dealers charge and I didn't have to risk tow damage. Provider showed up when expected, performed work in professional manner and charged a reasonable price.

It was a very positive experience. He was on time, professional, personable and a quick worker. He asked specific questions about the problem we experienced with the lock, then took it apart. He demonstrated the problem with the lock, explained our repair options and then set to work repairing. On top of that, he was kind enough to answer questions we had about the locks we have at a different house. He was in and out in no time flat, leaving us to leave the house during this busy holiday season knowing we can get back in.

Great. Would use jack again in a pinch. Offered us different options to repair lock when we though we would have to replace the lock entirely.

Excellent! I recently purchased a new home. I was in need of 2-dead bolts (side entry & basement walk-out). I booked appt w/Jack approx. 3-wks in advance and Jack didn't miss a beat. I have a 90 year old house and the entire lockset on my front door was completly shot. When I phoned Jack initially, he was on vacation for a week. I was going to call someone else as I was unable to shut and latch my door (other than by the deadbold lock). Instead, I decided to leave a message and wait. Jack returned my call immediately on Monday following his return. He came out on Tuesday (the next day), and replaced all the hardware on my door. I am very plesed with the work he did. The door knobs and all hardware fit the decor of the house (old colonial). He explained my options if I chose to go with the older (antique antique style locks) which would have cost much more. Jack is very professional, explains all options and is personable and friendly. I would absolutely recommend him and I would definitely call him again. I'm glad I waited for him to return as opposed to calling someone else.

Jack was great. He was easy to reach, and most importantly he accommodated my difficult schedule with minimal fuss. When he arrived, I told him what I wanted and he gave me a couple of options as to how to go about it. He demonstrated the materials and then after the work was done he noted some difficulties he encountered and how he overcame them. It is really imortant to me that a locksmith provides a feeling of security and he most certainly did. Also he is pleasant to be around and you would have no issues having him in your house. Everything was completely clean afterwards. Also he was very concerned about the overall function of my doors and made minor adjustments to make sure they were in working order.

Jack came the same day I called and installed a temporary deadbolt in the rear door so that we could remain safe. He said he'd be back in 2 days when the parts were in, but would call the next day if he could come earlier. He came the next day and completed both jobs in about 2.5 hours. He did a professional job, cleaned up afterward and was friendly throughout. It was a pleasure to have someone like this do a job for me.
