Emergency sewer back up
Description of Work: Excellent! Daniel Eleftheriou texted me & let me know when he would arrive. Daniel did a great job handling the emergency sewer back up. He found the rear house trap vent & cleared that. He also snaked the laundry discharge pipe. Not only was he efficient, but he was courteous & very kind. I would not hesitate to use him again. Highly recommend him!

Description of Work: I contacted the company via Angie's List. My 91 year old father needed repairs. The Water Company sent my father notice that there was a leak. A pipe from his house to the street was leaking. Integrated Construction sent a staff person to write up a proposal for the repair. They emailed me after the visit to my father's house via Angie's List asking for an email address to email the proposal. I live two hours away from my father. I sent my personal email address in order to receive the proposal. I sent a message via Angie's List to tell them I never received their email to my personal email address. No reply. I had stressed in all my communications that this was time sensitive. The Water Company required this matter to be remedied by a certain deadline. As of today still no proposal or response to all my correspondence.

Description of Work: They had to replace our main sewer line and trap. Steve and his crew were outstanding, helped us deal with our insurance company and got most of the repair covered. We even had our lawn leveled and seeded. Highly recommend them to who ever has the unfortunate occurrence of the sewer main breaking.

I contacted Steve based on the reviews I found on Angie's list. Suffering a slow sewage drain for quite a while now, and unable to bear the thought of once again running a snake through the line I contacted Steve in a single phone call and was able to schedule time for him to come out that afternoon or the next morning. Choosing the later was a great move. Staying in constant contact, Steve and his crew showed up a bit earlier than expected and immediately set up their gear and were working within 10 minutes. The initial scope revealed several locations where the pipe had been broken by decay and heavy root growth. Basically the pipe was clogged to the point of being closed off and the only drainage was the slow seepage thru the broken pipe. Knowing it was the beginning of a long holiday weekend and in anticipation of having friends over for an extended stay as well as a small party the crew proceeded to run snakes of various sizes through the line opening the closed pipe more on each pass. Each time re-checking progress with the camera scope, an extremely tedious process. While tedious, Steve and his crew never broke stride and moved forward while maintaining a great demeanor and attitude. It was obvious these guys take pride in the company and in the work they do. Due to the state of the pipe, the job took a lot longer than expected, but the cost remained unaffected. ICUNJ charges a flat fee for a clean-out, no matter what it takes to complete it. Having dealt with other sewage clean-out companies in the past, this completely took me by surprise, and I actually felt bad when they refused to take some extra money. I can't say enough good things about these guys, at the end of the day, they left the place looking and smelling better than it did when they arrived, they wiped everything down and sanitized the entire area they worked in. The pipe needs to be replaced, while Steve repeatedly suggested seeking additional opinions and quotes on performing a trench-less pipe bursting replacement line, which I will do, I barely see a reason to seek another contractor. Thanks for not disappointing. And thanks to the Angie's list community for providing your feedback on this company.
Description of Work: To say that Steve and his crew performed a scope and clean out of my sewer line would be a huge understatement and disservice to this top notch crew.

Steve and his ICUNJ crew replaced my home sewer line this week using the pipe bursting method. A month ago I called ICUNJ in to do a scope of my sewer drain and give me an estimate of the work that needed to be done. I sent many emails to Steve asking questions about the procedure; he was prompt in responding to all of them before and after I signed ICUNJ to do the job. His crew treated my home, inside and out, with great respect and care. They arrived early and stayed late....the first day they hit an obstacle breaking through the cement under the macadam of the city street so they worked until 9PM to make sure that the new drain was functioning properly,(so I was not left without use of the facilities in my house) and the excavated hole in the street was safely filled. He kept me apprised of everything that was happening during each phase of the work even calling me outside or down to the basement at certain critical points in the operation so I could take photos to share with a family member who had advised me during my search for a reputable company. My initial impression of ICUNJ has been verified...it is a company that is "skilled, knowledgeable, respectful and forthright". I would recommend them to anyone.

Steve and his ICUNJ crew came to look at our sewer pipe after RotoRooter encountered problems working on it for a month. He diagnosed the problem right away, we had 130 feet of sewer that was broken and needed to be replaced. The cost would be $13,000, which although expensive, was much less than what RotoRooter was going to charge. Better yet, since ICUNJ was working for the town repairing other sewers, our job could be added to the town's project and be billed to our property taxes over the next ten years. Steve's crew encountered a problem with part of our sewer pipe being cast iron instead of clay, and the joint between the two pipes encased in concrete. This meant that they could not burst the pipe directly, and needed to excavate another hole near the swimming pool to get access to the concrete encasing the pipe. This caused two extra days of work for them, but there was no additional charge for the excavations or the extra work involved. Although the ICUNJ crew was small, Steve and 3 other guys, know what they were doing and worked hard. They sometimes replace two pipes in a day. When they finished, Steve showed me, with a video camera on the end of a snake, the whole 130 ft of new pipe from my house to the main sewer line. He guaranteed that no roots would grow in that pipe for the next 50 years. ICUNJ repaired the broken irrigation pipes and wires severed during the excavation and reseeded the area of the lawn that had been excavated. When the grass grows back, there will be no sign that the ground had been dug up. There are three things to consider with each contracting job: quality, cost, and time. Usually, you optimize one at the expense of the others. Sometimes, if you are lucky, you get two out of the three. With ICUNJ, we got the best quality job, at a lower cost and in a short period of time. If we had to replace our sewer line again, I would definitely call ICUNJ. Fortunately, the pipe they installed will probably lasted longer than me.
Description of Work: Replaced 130 feet of sewer line from the house to the sewer main. This requires excavating a 9" deep hole, and bursting the old sewer pipe that runs under a creek and swimming pool, and replacing it with a new one. See a video on sewer pipe bursting at youtube

Showed up early and was Very thorough..
Description of Work: I wanted a second opinion regarding a problem I have had with my drain. Steve came by and was a lot more thorough than the first bunch that came. The price was competitive and I knew exactly where the problem is. I haven't had the work done yet because it was so close to the holidays, but when I'm able I'm calling Steve to do the work.

Overall this is a happy day because we do not have to pay for a repair - Steve advised us to explain to our township that there is a blockage 4 to 5 after we connect to their main line feet downstream and that they need to clear it asap. Thank-you Steve, again for being honest!
Description of Work: Steve just finished a camera analysis of our sewer line and gave us the best news we could get. His careful analysis showed that our sewer line was clear and that the blockage that was causing our sewer backup was 4 feet after ours in the township's sewer main. We requested this analysis, which was free, to develop an estimate for trenchless sewer line repair which we were fearing we needed. Steve will get some wonderful word-of-mouth advertising from me (a field sales rep who travels the area) by being honest.

They did a great job. They handled the permits, arrived on time, and cleaned up after the work was done. They answered all of our questions and Steve clearly explained why pipe-bursting, rather than pipe-lining or the traditional trench method, was the best solution for us. Their price was more than competitive---significantly less than other estimates we received.
Description of Work: Steve and his crew replaced my sewer line using the trenchless pipe-bursting method. This is a great way to replace a sewer line as the job only took one day and they did not have to dig up my driveway, front porch, and entire lawn. Another company told us this would not work for my house because the sewer line ran under the porch, but Steve and his crew are experts and were able to use this method without our having to make expensive repairs after their job was done. They also replaced a section of my interior waste line.
