Description of Work: Mr. Stepps did so many jobs fir us. New recepticals, rewired our garage, hung and connected four ceiling fans, moved eke truck for bathroom lights, on and on. He felt line a member of the family. Great electrician with very reasonable prices.

Description of Work: I called this man in the area. When he showed up at my door he looked very unprofessional and he never even said hello. I never asked him how he was charging for fixing my lamp. He had to work in the dining room on the stone dining room table and refused to lay a towel down as I requested so as to not scratch the china lamp. When he started working, he said that doesn't let anyone watch him work so he asked me to leave him alone, so I did. When I came to check on him, I saw that he had refused to put the towel underneath it again on the floor after I asked. When he finally left, I glanced at the work to make sure it was okay and I noticed that the lamp is now uneven because he put the cord on wrong. I would not recommend him for rewiring jobs because he was rude and overcharged me.

Description of Work: We have used Bill's service several times. We have had fixtures replaced, switchesand wall plugs fixed and recessed lighting added. He is always on time and professional. We have also used his services to fix problems at my mothers house as well. We call him for any electrical issues.

Description of Work: William installed a ceiling fan and rewired three lamps for me. I didn't think to tell him to install the fan flush mount and he installed it with the rod coming down. I apologized and he said it was his fault for not asking. He redid it. So if you have a cieling fan installed I would suggest telling him which way you want it done.

Description of Work: He lost power to an outlet. Bill quickly found and fixed the open circuit, replaced burned out wires and outlet. Prompt, courteous, professional, very knowledgeable and very, very reasonably priced. Would not hesitate to cal him for any and all electric needs. Highest recommendation.

Description of Work: I have used the services of William Stepps a month ago for electrical work. There was an electrical outlet that was improperly installed in the garage of my house. He installed another electrical outlet with a new circuit so it had its own separate electrical circuit. The earlier outlet was out of code and caused shortage in my fuse panel. He also fixed a light switch in the hallway.

Other contractors (I got another 5 estimates) all wanted 3500 + which DID NOT include the sub panel in the basement. The sub panel in the basement allows additional electrical lines to be added without connecting to the main box in the garage. He was the only contractor that suggested this addition. This will save a lot of money in the future; I am doing my entire house over. I used Bill on several other electrical jobs; all to my great satisfaction. Bill was recommended to me by other residents in the area.
Description of Work: Upgraded the electrical service in my house, by changing the electrical box and adding a new sub panel in the basement.
