From my experience, do not use Al for: Carpentry/Electrical -poor quality of work -slow pace -not all agreed items completed -above-average pricing But you can use Al for: Flooring -prompt -professional -beautiful work Masonry -excellent quality of work -speedy performance -competent We have had different experiences for different jobs, but no average experience. The subcontractors Al uses will provide you with either the most outstanding work you've ever seen, or make you go through h***. There is no middle ground. We received our most negative experience most recently, and it involves a carpenter named Carlos (the old guy not the young guy). If you decide to use Al for your work, make sure old Carlos is far, far away. Despite being a painting service, the spackle work we had performed is awful - bumps, creases, roughness - its all there. But I do not blame Al for this, just greedy, lazy, fat, old Carlos. So let me repeat, you are in good hands with Al as long as there is no grey-haired fat guy named Carlos working on your project. I hope Al has dumped him by now and uses the young Carlos. He's the best.

Al's crew did a great job on painting my master bedroom and bathroom. The crew was polite and they cleaned after the job was completed. We used Al in the past for our kitchen, dinning room and bathroom. We will not use anyone else.

Overall they provided outstanding service. They did great work and were very neat and professional.

BEWARE BEWARE !!! DO NOT pay any advance for the job as they will not complete the job and will leave you in middle. Things they messed 1. My family room carpet is all messed up with white caulk and sparkle waste. 2. No sanding or prime on walls (he just did it for one room) instead of whole first floor. 3. Hardwood floor on first floor is all messed with the paint drops which they did not remove or clean. 4. Totally unprofessional work, no finishing touch. 5. Ordered lots of extra 16 feet crown and base molding, which is still lying in my garage and they are telling me to take it back to the store. Store guy is not taking it back as its custom order which AL never told us. 6. All the things they removed from the wall (to paint) is still lying in my garage. 7. They threw all waste water on my lawn and shrubs, which killed them. AL's guys did come back to clean them but in doing so they broke the bricks on the front door. I have called AL's multiple times and he does not return the phone calls, and this is what he told me last "I got the feeling that you don't want to pay me so I'm done w with your services I will collect my money and another way thank you". Frankly speaking not sure from where he got this feeling and though of threatening me. His man did stop by 2/3 times to fix the issues but they just came for 30 mins or 1hr and hardly did anytime and more over messed my house every time they came. While signing the contract I had told him to keep this job simple and easy and not have this headache at the end. But no, looks like this is what they have been doing. In order to fix the things AL has not completed we have to invest 8650USD. 1500USD for pending jobs. 3000USD carpet for the family room. 3500USD for the hardwood floor. 250SUSD for the brick on the front door. 400USD for the grass and soil on the lawn. If I get option to upload pictures on this issue I will. In order to help my other friends to not to fall with such experience I am posting my experience and will spread the awareness on more social media too. Regards,
