Working with Al and his crew was absolutely a pleasure. He just finished re-tiling our large kitchen floor, and previously had repaired and repainted our 2x story deck. I can’t praise his workmanship and professionalism enough, he and his people are a class act! He is a pleasure to work with from the start, and his people very conscientious and hard working. His pricing always reasonable, his service prompt, and the quality of his work, the very best! He and all from his company are a pleasure to work with. All workers are respectful and sensitive to wearing masks. All appliances when moved back into place had been checked and tested. A 5x Star Review for he and his company! Not enough space to tell you how awesome Al and his team are. Professional, reliable and quality work always. Through the years Al has painted every room in the house at least once and the outside of the house twice. He has built shelves in the garage & basement, he has refinished kitchen cabinets, reworked bathrooms, i have used junk removal service, i have had them do work at my kids homes, we recently completed a major group of projects using Al for everything. The project started with mold remediation in the basement, gutting our finished basement and completely rebuilding. It also required major drainage work to be done in the front and back of the house. New gutters on the whole house. New paver walkway and entirely new front steps as well as tearing up and rebuilding our large 2 level deck from the house to the pool. He also lifted and reset all the large stones around the pool, add in some landscaping, and on and on. He handled electrical and plumbing when required. The BEST thing about Al is how easy he is to deal with. Responsive to calls always. Works on a materials at cost plus labor for a lot of the projects which is great and is labor rates are more than reasonable for the quality of his team. His carpenters do exceptional work, Also his estimates for labor are usually right on mark. I would highly recommend him and would be happy to talk to anyone looking to use him. We had two areas of water damage from roof leaks. You can’t even tell where he patched and speckled and repainted! Did their best to minimize mess from sanding. Carefully covered surfaces and furniture and floors. We are very happy!

Al and his crew are extremely talented and skilled! They were a delight to work with. Very professional and communicated with us on any changes or ideas. The are also very punctual; when they said they would arrive at 8 am, they rang my doorbell at 7:59!everytime! And left promptly at 4:30. All the work was hand-made and of expert quality. Al will also recommend options to work with your budget. I will continue to contract them for any home projects. Highly recommend! I’m submitting before and after pictures. We had wood paneling removed , closed a wall and had built a structure for our electrical fireplace.

Al was very easy to work with and very professional. He handled the job with no supervision. He was very willing to help by taking on these small jobs that others may have refused. Al did exactly what was needed for my small jobs and was a pleasure to work with.

Not too many folks tackle rehabs on a 100 year old home, however Al’s staff produced beautiful results! The kind of results your neighbors stop by to inquire and comment on. For over four years Al has been our go to contractor. No muss or fuss for any job Issues, everything was resolved to our satisfaction. From the electricians, plumbers, landscapers, and painters Al’s staff produces Quality work!

First off, I want to start by saying the house looks so nice after Al's crew painted it. They did a nice job with the interior painting. Al's crew was very friendly and they are very hard-working. However, we were disappointed by how unprofessional Al is. He was disrespectful and refused to own up to concerns of damages discovered upon completion. He turned the blame on us and said many disrespectful and insulting comments about us and our house. He accused us of trying to cheat him out of money and the fact that he didn't take care of things in our house because they were "old." Is that how a "professional" should treat his customers? We were not looking for a payday as he claimed and were merely looking for him to apologize and admit and address the wrongdoings… in fact, we paid him in full despite the damages. We installed a brand new Nest thermostat the day he started and it was scratched up when they finished. We didn't live in the house and were rarely at home. There were also scratches in our master bedroom floor which we didn’t find until the painting was completed. This was also not noted during our house inspection completed just a couple of weeks before he started. His defense was he thought we were replacing our floor (which we never confirmed), and he would’ve taken before and after pictures had he known we were keeping it. This defense is flawed as he did not take a single picture of any other part of our house. His “solution” was for us to file an insurance claim and insurance would replace our entire floor. Again, he was missing our point as we were merely looking for him to apologize and try to fill the scratch. He later told us to take money off of the project costs, again missing the point we were trying to make. He also refused to come the last day to collect his check because he was too stubborn to admit any wrongdoing. It's a shame because the work was done nicely and we would have recommended him to many of our friends who just purchased a house if he was more professional. Don't be fooled by his friendly demeanor when he tries to close the deal. You will see another side if something wrong on his part arises. In reviewing other negative reviews, I know Al will read this and respond in a defensive manner digging himself deeper into a hole. If he’s smart, he will stay quiet. If he’s truly the nice guy we thought we hired when we first met him, he should act like a professional and at the very least provide a sincere apology. I wish we read all his reviews before we hired him as I am appalled by his insensitive (and even racist) remarks to other negative reviews. Regardless of whether the customer is right or wrong, there is a right way to deal with a challenging customer - stubbornness, denial and disrespect is not the answer. Honest mistakes happen, but do yourself a favor and look for a business that is apologetic and takes accountability when issues arise. He claims on his business card that customer service is his number one priority... I think not.

The job was done quickly and professionally by Al’s crew. Al only asked for payment when I was completely satisfied and was most concerned that the job met my standard. Best contractor EVER!

Hard to rate somebody who cannot be bothered to respond to your request. Oh wait, its actually easy. Fail.

Amazing job. He even took care of a problem on the porch that could have been catastrophic. Al and his team were courteous and professional. Being fluent in English and Spanish was also very helpful. Trabajo fantastico. Muy professional.
