First rate. Last plumber did poor job of snaking (in my admittedly old house with old piping), had to be done again within six months. Much better this time. Service was efficient, professional, careful and effective. Will have them return to install another faucet set in kitchen.
Description of Work: Installed new faucet set in bathroom, snaked several drains.

Everything had been going smoothly. Jay had been working almost non-stop since he started at 9:30. At 1:00 he was nearly done when we spotted a leak in our kitchen. This required him to remove the toilet and open a hole in the kitchen ceiling. He made a quick trip to a supply house for PVC parts to replace the old lead ones that had holes in them. All this added about 4 hours and $800 to the job but we think it was money and time well spent. Jay's boss Dennis recommended Myron, their drywall sub to repair the ceiling. He did that for us a few weeks later and you can't even tell where the patch is now that we've painted it. I highly recommend Right Plumbing,Heating& AC and will call them again
Description of Work: Repaired bathtub valves and cleared the drain. Installed a new toilet. Made an emergency repair of the toilet drain. had their dry-wall sub c0ntractor repair the ceiling below.

My experience with them went good. I like those guys. They're really, really competent. They're excellent. I had called someone else about this problem, and he had wanted to rip my whole wall out. Then I called them, and they climbed up there and was able to fix the whole thing without even ripping one tile down. They know what they're doing.

Right One Plumbing did an excellent job repairing my heater as well as installing a new thermostat. What was TRULY impressive about the service was the fact that they came on a Saturday during one of the coldest days of the winter! Although it wasnt the most technical of projects it was definitely a lifesaving service! We will not hesitate to call Right One in the future.

LOOK NO FURTHER. I'm positive no truer words were ever spoken (written). That is if you're in the market for honest, hardworking men to take care of your plumbing needs/problems. Because by reading on, you'll have discovered Right One, Dennis and Jason. They're polite, reliable, unbelievably capable, trustworthy and fairly priced - all qualities my husband and I have been searching for, hungered for, it seems just about forever. At age 80 and 71, we've seen a collection of plumbers come in and out of our 1929 Tudor for close to 45 years now and most of them have never failed to disappoint us with the poor workmanship and the quality of their end result. We had resigned ourselves. Until now. I'm excited and I guess it shows. I joined Angie's List this month. My husband searching through the phone book, closing his eyes and jabbing the ads for plumbers with a straight pin wasn't working for us anymore, as well as the "recommended plumbers list" my family and neighbors shared with us. My husband is a big fan of Angie's now. (Actually, to hear him talk, maybe her greatest/her most loyal fan from this point on.) The reviews on Angie's for the Right One seemed promising as soon as we read them. Jason came with his flashlight, pointed it into a thick, long basement concrete tunnel that the broken steam pipe traveled through which led to the steam radiator in our den and branched off in a number of directions that my husband and I couldn't figure out or track down. The pipe seemed so inaccessible but Jason proved that theory wrong. He sized up the situation and within a few minutes told me what was going on and how it could be resolved. Before we joined Angie's List, we had a parade of plumbers march in - none of which had a clue of what was going on. Being clueless and incompetent at the same time is an exploding dynamite combination, especially when you're already in panic mode, dripping in desperation. (One plumber, certainly not from Angie's List, suggested capping the radiator in the den, thereby shutting off heat to our den and getting a space heater. Brilliant. He didn't mention, of course, we would lose heat to two or three more rooms as well. Apparently, that was just an insignificant side effect of his proposal and just wasn't worth mentioning to us.) I was overjoyed at Jason's diagnosis. It was a real solution and made sense even to a lay person. I knew immediately this guy knew his stuff. When my husband returned home, I excitedly told him, "This Jason really knows his business" - his A+ plumbing stuff. Although Jason didn't say it, not even hint at it, I knew this job of ours had the potential of being a difficult, complicated, nasty job but he took it on anyway with great results - knowing what you're doing always helps. As I sit here writing this, my problem steam pipe is brand new, chugging and hissing happily away, feeding all our radiators. Better for us, better for our boiler, and most especially, better for our bedroom floor that the escaping steam managed to creep and crawl its way to in record time. On its journey, the steam successfully demolished almost every floor board in its pathway. I have a great many more jobs that I'll be lining Right One up for in the future. Happy St. Patrick's Day.
Description of Work: Replaced encased in concrete broken steam pipes. Leveled steam pipes. Hooked up and replaced radiator parts.

I worked with Dennis O'Neill, co-owner of Right One Plumbing. I was able to schedule visits for estimates and to do the work in reasonable amounts of time. He kept all appoitments and showed up promptly. It was extremely easy to communicate with him about the work via email; most mail was answered within one day and even on weekends. Dennis clearly explained what work was needed and the cost components. His prices were very good for this area. All work was completed at or below estimates. The largest job went easier than anticipated and I was billed about 20% less than the quote. He even made sure I got credit for my Angie's List coupon without my asking. He and his crew were curteous and professional. Their clean up was spotless. I have recommended Right One to neighbors and I plan to use them again on future projects. The work they did was of the highest quality and included items not included in the quote and work to help avoid future problems.
Description of Work: I used Right One Plumbing for a variety of projects, from minor to really major. The work they did for me included repair to the main flush stack, whick had cracked and needed to be replaced, installation of a new toilet, replacement of a shower head and installing a new flexible shower head, and other minor repairs.

Dennis initially came in for a water leak that was coming from the 1st floor bathroom down to one of the rooms in the basement. I thought it was coming from the pipes attached to the tub somehow but turns out it was leaking from the tiles in the shower area. Dennis diagnosed this. His partner Myron came in to do the work. Dennis replaced the leaky shower valves etc and faulty turn off valve on the toilet.
Description of Work: The shower and bathtub enclosure needed to be recaulked, grouted and resealed. He also fixed some of the loose grout in the tiles on the floor area.

Contractor arrived on time and promptly put on fabric shoe covers so as to not track dirt through our house. Our requests were fairly simple but Right One repaired everything thoroughly and answered all of my quicks throughout the job. Overall I felt they did a great job, had a fair price and were professional. I would call them again for future plumbing needs.

I talked to Dennis the owner and hired him to replace our leaking water heater. He did the job on the day agreed to and did a quality installation. His price was high but he had all A ratings so i figured I was getting a good plumber and was going to pay for a good plumber. After the water heater was installed I went to submit an application through the gas company for a rebate which I knew was available. As I gathered the information for the rebate I discovered they had not installed an energy efficient model. Now, maybe shame on me for not checking on what kind of water heater he was going to install but I never dreamed anyone would install a model that was not energy efficient. When I asked Dennis the owner why he did not install an energy efficient model, his answer was that the energy efficient models were more money and the "measely" rebate did not make up for the difference in price. Well, he was wrong on both counts. I priced both models on the internet and the energy efficient models are the same price. Even more upsetting to me is the amount of the rebate available for which I now do not qualify for. It is $700.00 dollars!!! This has made me very disappointed with Dennis and Right One Plumbing. I would think that as a company who installs water heaters they would be a little more knowledgeable about this stuff. The rebate would have covered more than 1/3 the cost of installing the water heater! Also now I will have a water heater that is not energy efficient for the next 10 -15 years! Right One Plumbing performed the installation acceptably but I am so disappointed in not getting the rebate and now having a non energy efficient water heater that I would not hire them again.

Before I address this gentleman's misconceptions as to available rebates and qualifying high efficiency water heater costs let me just recount the events of the installation. We received a call from him that his 50 gallon water heater had failed and could we come and replace it. We quoted him the price of our standard 50 gallon heater over the phone as he never specified that his needs were any different. We loaded up the heater and sent one of our techs to his home. Upon arrival we immediately encountered a couple of problems with the proposed install; Firstly, his existing was not a standard vent water heater (venting into a chimney) but a "power vent" model. A more expensive unit which vents thru the wall and has an electric draft inducer. We requoted the job appropriately, GOT A SIGNED APPPROVAL FOR A GO AHEAD from the customer . The second difficulty we encountered which we were not advised of by the customer was that the old water heater was boxed in by appliances ( a clothes dryer and a refrigerator) which had to be disconnected and removed, then reinstalled after the water heater install. Needless to say we needed at that point to send another one of our well paid techs to bring the appropriate heater and help move the appliances at no extra cost. We did our usual flawless installation, GOT AN APPROVAL SIGNATURE that the homeowner was satisfied, collected for the job and left. It wasn't till almost a week later that I got a call from this customer asking questions about efficiency and rebates and if the heater we installed qualified. I told him that it did not and he asked me if he could fax me the rebate forms to sign because he wanted to try anyway! I complied with his wishes none the less and at his request hand delivered the signed forms to his home so that the signature would be original! Now, here is the thing with the Warm Advantage Rebate Program or any other available rebate program regarding water heaters....Just because a heater may have an energy star label on it does not mean that it entitles the buyer to a rebate. In order to qualify for the rebate the heater has to achieve 82% efficiency and the rebate! This would have meant that we would have had to install a unit SEVERAL upgrades higher then the unit we installed at 2 to 3 times the cost! Common sense tells us that whatever product you are purchasing, a car, a furnace, or whatever, that offers MORE efficiency is going to cost more. Again we were not asked to install a more efficient and therefore more expensive unit and this customer's statement that "He never dreamed" that we would not just take it upon ourselves to do so is a little unreal to me. Again the homeowner signed for approval of the work before and after. My suggestion is that this customer do his extensive internet research BEFORE his purchases in the future to avoid creating this type dissatisfaction for himself.

Dennis, the owner, was ultra-professional throughout my myriad questions. The complex I live in asks a lot from service providers, and Dennis complied with all the requirements promptly and without complaint (which I've found out is not the norm--other service companies seem to be unwilling to provide the association with the required information/papers). The plumber on staff that came to the house to perform the services arrived early (although his name escapes me). My husband was more than pleased with his professionalism and ability to do the work. The project took all day just because of the age of what was being replaced (original to the bathroom, built in late '60s). After evaluating the job, he had to go out to get the appropriate parts, but did that on his lunch break. He left the job site just as clean as it was before he worked on it, so that made me very happy. The only way that I knew he'd done the work is that the tub faucet no longer leaked. I thought the price for both tasks was reasonable. It's been over a month now since the work was done, and we're continue to be happy with the work. I've already passed along his information to a colleague. And when we're able to totally redo the bathroom, I'll be calling Dennis.

I called Right One first thing in the morning and an appointment was set up for later that day. Dennis arrived promptly. Wore booties over shoes so as not to track anything in the house. He inspected the area to be repaired and discussed my options. Once decison was made, the work was performed and area cleaned up. Since I liked his work, I discussed having my central air checked out prior using. I would highly recommend Right One to anyone looking for a reliable, fairly priced plumbing, heating and air conditioning specialist.

Plumber determined leak was not from pipe or fixture rather the tiles on the shower wall. Contracted with Right One to have the tiles regrouted. This took care of the leaks. They told me it would work for a couple years but there is possibility that it will leak again in future due to wrong drywall used in construction. I found the company and owner Dennis dependable.

They were quite prompt and responsive. They are very reasonable in terms of price. They came and they were willing to try the less expensive option. I had a few other plumbers who came out and told me they would tell me how much the job is going to cost until they open up our ceiling but the guy told me that he would try the less-expensive option and if that won't work, they would move on to the more expensive option, so I really appreciate that about them. They did a good job.

The first plumber I called didn't show up. Then I read the positive reviews for Right One Plumbing and decided to give them a call. It was already 3pm on Saturday so I really did not expect a plumber to get in here until Sunday or Monday. I called at 3pm, Jason said he could be here by 4pm and he did. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and was gone by 5:30. Very punctual, polite and professional. Wore shoe coverings when he came in the house. He knew where the leak was probably coming from, replaced the rotted shower head arm, and checked to be sure leak was taken care of. Very efficient, very neat. Nice guy. Will definitely call again for plumbing trouble.
