We did not like the quality of their job. They did not do it well. Within a year, the paint started to peel so I wrote them a letter asking if they would redo it since it was still under the warranty they gave me. They were so nasty so I knew they would not come back. It was a very unpleasant experience.

They started immediately and were very helpful in suggesting colors. They had to do a lot of repair work on water damaged ceilings, cracks and removing wallpaper. The job was done in a very timely matter and looks beautiful. We look forward to working with Dave again in the spring when we will have him back to powerwash, stain and seal our deck.

Due to lack of time I am not able to elaborate further.

I know the owner, and he is actually a friend. The work was actually two separate jobs, and I thought the work was fine. I liked them very much. They came when they said they would and were pleasant to have in the house. They knew their business, and they picked up after themselves. It was a very good and competent painting job, but it was not fabulous. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Dave came out and measured the house and provided an estimate by email. Once agreed his crew came and began the job immediately. THey stripped the entire house of wall paper in about a day...very impressive. Began the thin coating to repair the walls. And began painting in a few days. The paint job went smoothly. Dave was very helpful in picking colors and changed a color when it didn't look right. In the spring he came back and stripped the house in a day (cleaned up very nicely) and painted the house two weeks later. All in all, I recommend Dave and Perfect Painting. He was very accomodating we made a lot of changes to the work scope and the add ons were pretty reasonable. My only downside was his email communication and quotes were a bit disorganized. As we added to the scope I never received a new quote. Be sure to keep emails. Additional thoughts The painting crew were polite and took pride in thier work. They cleaned up very nicely after each day Dave commented that he keeps his employees full-time so you aren't getting random crews each day. After 3 years the walls look great!

The job went well. Dave helped us pick great colors for the house, and even painted samples on the outside so we could see how it looked in different lighting conditions. They spot sanded all around, then primed and painted. The gentleman next door is a state lead inspector and commented that the contractors did a good job using proper lead safety procedures. It took the crew about a week to finish the job. There were several outstanding things that needed to be fixed, but they did everything we asked promptly. We had our roof replaced shortly after and quite a bit of damage was done to the new paint job. Dave came back and touched up the worst of the damage at no charge.

The project went exceptionally well. They made the process quick and painless for our family. Dave worked closely with us to create a space that was child-friendly and could be used as office space. He went above and beyond by doing extra things like sealing the door to a cold room, putting foam padding on a pipe that we bumped our heads on, trimming everything out nicely, etc. There were a couple of things we wanted to change after it was built, and he made the changes immediately. One other great thing about working with Dave is that he uses email, which makes it very easy to communicate with him and keep track of progress and requests. The project was completely finished within 3 weeks and we love the space.

They cut corners from start to finish. Two guys were here for two whole days and one half day. For the amount that I paid and the size of the house, I think it should have taken them a lot longer if they did the right amount of prep work in washing/sanding and priming. The prep work was woefully inadequate and has resulted in a poor paint job. They did not power wash the house at all. They sanded with a course sander here and there that left gouges on the cedar wood siding, and then put paint right on top of it without a primer coat. No sanding of any of the trim. There was debris everywhere. Although they had a vacuum sander, they unhooked it from the sander saying that it kept getting clogged. I saw a cloud of sawdust when the guy was sanding the back of my detached garage. The owner said that this was normal even with vacuum sanders, which I did not believe. They painted over wet vinyl spackle that bled through. The owner kept saying he was on a bigger job. I was short-shrifted.

It started out well, but then the owner fired two crews in the middle of the job. The people that were working took shortcuts, things had to be repainted and it was a nightmare. We had to threaten him with a certified letter to even get the job finished. He did "finish" the job, but there is one area we are going to touch up ourselves, rather than deal with him. He even switched brands of paint in the middle of the job, claiming he could no longer get that paint. He didn't prime correctly, so our cedar siding kept on showing through the paint. The other thing is, the owner doesn't stay on the job with his crews.

THEY DID A FAIRLY GOOD JOB. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME. THE WORK WAS VERY NEAT. THEY LEFT NO MESSES. THEY MET ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE NEAT AND THEY DIDN'T BREAK ANYTHING. THEY CLEANED UP WHEN THEY WERE DONE. THE PRICE WAS FAIR. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.
