Hired Perfect Painting for the third time to do interior painting in our home. Donna Stone and her crew were great from start to finish. They transformed our basement into wonderful space for the kids. So happy we hired a company that showed great care and attention to our needs. All work was done with great attention to detail. Perfect Painting did an excellent job on my house. The crew were all so kind, polite and professional. The price was fair and the job described in the estimate was completed to the letter. In the last 15 years I’ve dealt with many contractors and sub-contractors and can say Perfect Paint Inc. exceeded my expectations. After several on-site meetings about my renovation project in Hillside, NJ, including a demonstration of their dust-free sanding technique with custom equipment, I was convinced I had found the most knowledgeable paint and renovation contractor. The two-story colonial house had been severely neglected for over twenty years and I knew it would be a challenging job that would require someone with skill, experience, and dedication. Once the work started, they were able to strip off the old paint and restore the original 1951 cedar shingles to new condition. Best of all, when they finished work each day there was not a speck of dust anywhere around the house. Decades of old, peeling, weather-damaged paint was gone. The Perfect Paint team knew how to replace damaged shingles, seal the freshly exposed wood, and finish the trim work; all required prep for paint. Throughout the project I was able to defer to Perfect Paint Inc for their expert knowledge and years of experience for decisions on primers, paints, carpentry options, window trim options and final architectural appeal. In the end, Perfect Paint Inc worked seamlessly with my roofer, hardscape specialist, window installers and electrical team to bring the home to a beautifully restored condition that will last many years. I recently hired Perfect Painting in preparation to sell my home. Our three children put the interior home’s walls through quite the beating, so I wasn’t sure what to expect as the final outcome. Really excellent work. Everything was done in a timely fashion--the initial estimate, follow up, and job scheduling--and exactly as was promised. The work itself is beautiful. I went with the color that was suggested, and it looks great; it warms up the space perfectly. I was told the job would be completed in a day and it was, with zero mess left behind. All in all, I am super pleased, and look forward to using Perfect Painting again.

We had our floors done prior to the paint, which was no problem because they covered every square inch in thick painter's paper, then covered with cloths. The work was perfect. After the job was done, the guys came back to paint the baseboard radiators and installed new switch plates that went better with the new trim. They went above and beyond my expectations - just an excellent, clean job with NO headaches. We're still finding little things they decided to fix and spruce up without us even asking. It's truly amazing what new paint can do. To say they transformed our home is an understatement.

Had the outside of house painted. David, the owner, takes great pride in his work. He has one regular crew (no day laborers) so he has tight control of quality. He went out of his way to ensure we were satisfied. Showed up on time and was very careful not to leave a mess. Very professional and truly knows his trade. Absolutely would use him again.

Wonderfully. They did an extremely careful job power washing the deck. I believe the sealing was very good, as well, because water balls up on the surface now and we've never had that happen after sealing the deck in the past. Dave really seems to know decks. That's why we chose him.

The job was done in six days. They came back after it was finished to do a walk around and payment. I thought they did an excellent job. They were quiet and cooperated. I think they did things that went above and beyond the minimum requirements. They noticed other things that needed to be cleaned and did so without charge. They repaired some of the boards on my deck, they covered it over so well that you don't even notice.

Dave was absolutely amazing, very honest and upfront. He did an amazing job with our home, it looks like a brand new house now! Everything he promised was completed and in a timely fashion, he even shifted around his schedule to accommodate a deadline for us. Dave and his team absolutely lived up to the company name - The job was perfect! The paint drips, cracks, and imperfections that could be seen on the moldings throughout the home look completely brand new now - likewise with the baseboard heaters. Since moving in our friends and family have repeatedly remarked "This place looks fantastic!" In addition to doing phenomenal work -- Dave is a great guy, extremely easy to work with, and was very accommodating to our tight schedule. Stop searching, you just found your painter.

We hired Dave to paint the outside of our house in the fall, and when we decided we wanted to repaint our living room, he was the first person we called! Dave is so easy to work with, very personable, and above all, he and his team do a fantastic job. Once he gives you a quote, there are no hidden fees. First- Dave, the owner, was extremely flexible in finding a time to meet to walk through the house. He was more than willing to meet me on a Sunday morning where other will often only give you a weekday time. Dave asked quite a few questions about the job and provided an estimate within a couple days. Dave and his crew were a pleasure to work with. The first challenge was a basement that had carpet being installed in two days. Dave quickly scrambled his crew to have the entire basement and trim painted within one day so we could have our basement back in order ASAP. From there Dave and his crew worked methodically through the house, moving from one room to another, in a logical fashion. Considering we have 2 young kids, a special needs adult, and 3 cats we thought this project could be a nightmare. But Perfect Painting handled everything. Dave was patient as he put many many samples on the wall for us to choose the proper color. He was also very helpful recommending color themes and matching trim color so everything would look coordinated in the end. When rooms were being painted they covered everything, and I mean EVERYTHING with plastic. Floors were always protected with a heavy canvas tarp. All furniture was moved with corners protected to prevent scratches when moving on the hardwood floor. When we came home from work, everything was 100% cleaned up, furniture was back in place, like nothing had ever happened- every day. I highly recommend this company. They are true to their word, show up on time, do high quality work, were capable of drywall repairs, excellent at plaster repairs, rebuilt the entire inside of a scary closet, our job was very trim heavy and looks unbelievable, they will help you with color selection, and they don't hassle you about small changes. Truly one of the best contractors I have ever worked with.

They did a fantastic job. Dave initially helped us with color choices. He went out of his way getting samples to us and went above and beyond. He even took care of buying the paint for us. They were very very neat and they got it all done in 12 hours. They left everything in pristine condition. They did a phenomenal job and we would highly recommend them to anyone.
