Their technician advised me of the current best type to install and replace. He then purchased for me, installed and tested. Also answered my questions and was very professional.

I called the office at about 12:30PM and had a technician in my home at 2:45PM. Neil, the technician, was punctual, pleasant, and very knowledgeable. He was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem, clearly explain what needed to be done and how much it would likely cost, and fixed everything in a clean and efficient manner. Even though it seemed a little pricey for a little over 2 hours of service, the job was done right and fast! Would definitely recommend!

Rarely do you find contractors that have the level of professionalism First Class Electric has. From the start of this project the communication was excellent. Neil, Jonas & their assistant (sorry can't remember your name) were fast, detailed. The new holes Neil & Jonas made for the outlets and wire access were done with mastery. I plan on using First Class Electric for all my electrical needs, and highly recommend them. Note to the owner Boris. You're email communication was fantastic and your team is amazing. Excellently. Neil was very professional, easy-going and extremely competent. Also, all my communications with Boris, the owner, were friendly and efficient. From the beginning, I felt they were trustworthy and at no point did they disappoint me.

Called several companies for a quote. FCE was the least expensive. Interacted with Boris who I believe was the owner. Scheduling was accomodating since i work during the week. Conversations were pleasent and very polite. They have a quick turn around. They applied for permits and made 3 visits, first was for the estimate, second was to prep the site, and third was the actual job. All done within about a week. Job looks clean. Needs to be inspected by the township. Will update after inspection.

These guys were terrific. Boris was vey nice and patient with me on the phone. He answered all questions. Before the workers came a representative showed up on behalf of the company to explain to me what would be happening that day. He asked what door the workers should enter the house through. When the workers came they were professional and pleasant. They got the job done in one day. The work passed inspection easily. I would definitely recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again. They did a great job.

My interior wiring, while old was in pretty good shape but the Co wanted me to replace the conduit which conducts the wires from the utility company pole into my home. Since the "cracks in the cable envelop" looked like superficial paint peeling, I decided to forgo the estimated $3,000.00 job.

It seemed like somewhat of a basic inspection. I would have liked him to check a breaker as I had a problem with it later.

I have used them a couple of times. He was professional and his prices were reasonable. He did good work. They showed up on time. I found them through Angies List. I would highly recommend them.

Everything was great yet again. They were extremely responsive and professional. They had to cut out the ceiling a little bit to install the new bathroom fan but did a great job and finished it quickly. the GFCI i replaced shorted out and needed to be replaced. They replaced it and checked all the other outlets in the bathroom. I would recommend using them as they are definitely my go to electrician. I have a few more projects down the line that I will be calling them about.

In all honesty I wasn't impressed. First the good - the owner was very accommodating at arranging a time for the inspection that fit into my work schedule. And the electrician arrived punctually. However I was not impressed by the inspection quite honestly. I read many other reviews on Angie's List where the electrician was there for well over an hour, checking just about every outlet and smoke alarm. The electrician who performed my inspection seemed to be in a hurry and was gone about 15 minutes after he got there. He did check the main circuit breaker and the GFCI outlets in the kitchen and bathroom, as well as a few other random outlets, but that was about it. He tested one smoke alarm in the basement and then told me as he was preparing my written report that it was preferable to have hard-wired smoke alarms, not just battery-operated. I had to inform him that while the unit he tested was battery-operated, several of the other alarms (which he hadn't even looked at) were in fact hard-wired. He unscrewed one of them to look for an expiration date but didn't find one. I asked how I would go about replacing them (since I just moved in and have only had battery-operated in the past), and he just said "unscrew it and connect the wires". When I asked him if I needed to shut off the power first he said something like "I don't but you should". He did not say anything about the age or condition of the alarms or whether they needed to be replaced. On the main floor there are 2 additional ceiling alarms and he did not check either of those - he said "well you just bought the house so you must have gotten a CofO from the fire dept anyway." In his defense the electrician seemed like a nice guy, and he did tell me the overall electrical system looked good and up-to-date... but he just seemed rushed and disinterested. Perhaps working the inspection into my schedule left him without enough time before his next appointment. At any rate I was looking for a local company I could use for future electrical work, but I think I will be searching elsewhere unfortunately. EDIT to previous review: Boris from First Class Electric contacted me and was kind enough to send another electrician to the home at no charge, to address any unanswered questions form my first inspection. The electrician answered my questions about the hard-wired smoke alarms, and gave me some rough estimates for future electrical work I am considering. I appreciated the professionalism of the company in quickly addressing my concerns and paying another visit to my home so quickly. They seem to be a company that cares about their customers, which I appreciate. Based on the quick follow up, I would recommend this company, it is good to know they are willing to address any concerns their customers have.

I felt the work that needed to be done could not be done in the amount of the time specified in the Deal so I had the Deal refunded. They did reach out to me to schedule pretty quickly.

I wanted cable in my kitchen of my townhouse that I just moved into. It was important that the cable was run in the walls and there was a clean installation. The technician, Justin, came on time and did a fabulous job. It was a hard time running the line since it had to be snaked through walls and floors from the attic to the second floor kitchen of a three floor town home. Justin persevered with the installation taking him all day. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a job done well with professional care.

That service turned out okay. They found something’s during the inspection, but they did not tell me how to fix those.

The appointment was made and changed by the purchaser several times. The company was very understanding and rescheduled for me - no problems. They called before arriving and were on time. The gentleman was polite and courteous. He proceeded with the inspection which was thorough and complete. He alerted me that I had potential problems with the house electrical panel and pointed out several other issues. He proceeded to write up the inspection. I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. The inspection took well over an hour. I would not hesitate to use them for my electrical issues.
